Hello
After looking through the GB rom, the wifi, bt etc. icons in notification aren't where they are.
This got me looking in system/app. There is a new apk called "SystemUI.apk".
This is where the new files take priority over twframework-res.apk. The files in there include stat_ icons and signal icons.
This way of theming is similar to vanilla roms.
Here is the following files
{
"lightbox_close": "Close",
"lightbox_next": "Next",
"lightbox_previous": "Previous",
"lightbox_error": "The requested content cannot be loaded. Please try again later.",
"lightbox_start_slideshow": "Start slideshow",
"lightbox_stop_slideshow": "Stop slideshow",
"lightbox_full_screen": "Full screen",
"lightbox_thumbnails": "Thumbnails",
"lightbox_download": "Download",
"lightbox_share": "Share",
"lightbox_zoom": "Zoom",
"lightbox_new_window": "New window",
"lightbox_toggle_sidebar": "Toggle sidebar"
}
Hope this helped
Cheers
Oh that's just great. This means all the old themes won't work on 2.3.
But thanks anyway.
Yes
It means you have the copy the files over to systemui.apk.
Easily done mate.

Good find and priceless info Racer mate
Thanks a ton for sharing this info.
Does this mean we'll now have to tag SystemUI.apk in apktool instead of twframework-res.apk?

I'm currently running a launcher on kindom and was wondering if I could remove the sprint banner and digital clock from the lockscreen? Reason being is because I'm running a live wallpaper that displays clock/date/battery life/ etc. And it works prefect for me. But on the lockscreen the sprint/clock is in the way and is getting annoying atm. If you have any info that would be wonderful. Thanks again.

Do you have experience in creating themes? I believe sense3.0 uses a new way to display images. If I am not mistaken this should be in your fusion.apk. You will need a tool to extract the .m10 files. Which can be found here. Maybe find the images you need and delete the visible layers?

Let me know if you run into any questions. I have created my own theme, however I am no master. If I have time this weekend I will see if I can find your fix.

Looks great! Big thanks! But unfortunatly it's replace PerkaMOD
But I'll stay on this mod.
This mode includes the % inside the battery icon, and blue notification widgets by any chance? I will give it a try if yes
This mod has already include percentage battery as you see in screenshot. But for the blue notification widget , I need to ask Perka a permission.

Sorry if I'm hijacking this thread a little bit, but my question is kind of related to the starter. I have Omega ROM v24, removed the Lidroid mod for the toggle buttons and went back to the stock lay out. I would like to change the order of the toggle buttons.
I followed a few guides and it went okay until I found out there's no META-INF folder in the original (Omega) SystemUI.apk.
I am not skilled enough to produce a zip file for CWM, so I was wondering when I post the arrays.xml file and the original SystemUI.apk if someone would be willing to either put a META-INF in the apk or make an update zip.
There's two different arrays, one with and one without FlashLight (I'm not sure if that will work or not).
Thanks in advance.
(Had to change the xml extention to txt for uploading purposes).
Install official CM and you will get it.

I was looking at the "post your screen setup" thread and saw that no one had used any apps like screener or perfect screenshot or a psd to show off their setup. Since our phone is a very sexy phone it deserves to have something to show it off so I went ahead and made us one! It's my first go at making these psd, insert screenshot here setups so it's not perfect but it works just fine. Unlike most psd's you will find I have kept all layers unlocked and fully editable so you can do whatever you want with it. Feel free to use this for your rom or theme op's or whatever you want. I really don't care if you mention me in your op's but it's always nice to get a shout out! Just don't claim that you made it or distribute it on a third party site for profit! That's just shady. So I guess that's about all I have to say!
You'll need to 7zip extract it because uncompressed it's around 160 mb!

I actually used screener in my original post of that thread but the images were alot smaller so i just use the original home screen pics. But thank you for this. Great work.
