edit: After purchasing this I would hold out for revision 2 (coming around May 1st) as the first one has a few design flaws. The front camera is blocked and the cut-outs for the buttons are not
large enough so it makes it impossible to actually press them. I'll post back when rev2 arrives.
For 22 bucks I will have to let a few other people try it first. I sunk too much money into trying out cases

Just picked it up in the mail.
very snug good fit doesn't hinder the kickstand at all. I like how theres a small part that covers the edge of the earpiece.
however the buttons are extremely hard to press with the case. it's sort of a pain to turn on adjust volume etc. i don't really like how the material feels. there isnt a problem with it. but the outside makes the phone feel cheaper overall

He didn't make the holes large enough for the power button or volume rocker. you can't get your finger in there, although if you have nails you could probably press it. I took an xacto blade to mine to widen the holes. Also, the front camera is covered by the case. To top it off the hole for the charger port is also not designed correctly, some cables will not fit. Its going to be about 3-4 weeks until revision 2 is released. I ordered the lazzo? silicone extended case now as well and will report back how that is.

I did not like the silicone one at all, but I'm not a fan of silicone cases. If you like the material the lazzo is fine. I just find it sticks to everything in sight and fits the phone to loosely. That said I cant recommend the TPU case until the issues with the buttons and camera are resolved, which hopefully will be soon. Apparently the other models he made cases for don't have this problem.

This case is actually very nice. Have a seidio 3500 in my phone. As previously stated,the cutouts need to be widened. However the seller is great. Also got the back door they sell,but it came warped and he sent me another one free of charge. Will post back on how it actually fits.

I know we can go the exacto knife route but why the hell isn't HTC selling an OEM case to fit their Extd Battery. Clearly their is a need.
I didn't buy a case for the standard battery, but I did buy the extended battery. I'm pretty ham-handed; I had a hard enough time getting the case off the back of the unit (needed a flat-headed screwdriver!) that I don't think I'd be able to manually construct a case using an exacto-knife. And I'm glad they installed my screen protector for me at the Verizon kiosk, because I always seem to get some bubbles underneath it... they did it perfectly!
I think I could install the case if it were pre-made to fit the extended battery. I'll keep an eye out to see if any stores come up with a case to fit the HTC extended battery.
Yeah I don't get why HTC didn't make one for day one of the release. They don't even have the multimedia dock for sale yet. This is really bad on HTC's end, with the delay and all too. I mean come on, you wan't people to build brand loyalty and you treat people that are new to your brand like this????

On my DINC I have the extended battery and I cut out a rubber case to make like a bumper guard. I only cut out the area sticking out.
They need to make a case that makes the bigger battery flush in the back or I am just keeping the DINC. I know on the EVO you can get a larger battery and have a flush back.
Why does Verizon HTC's have to be so ugly with the bigger battery.
I will likely get me an exacto knife but I will have to order a few cheap silicone cases of ebay for the surgery. There is no way I am going to slice into one that costs $20 when I can spend $3 on ebay.
Can't do the exacto knife trick. The kickstand gets in the way.

I have a friend with a EVO 4G and he has the YooBao extended battery and a flush back for the battery. Looks sweet.
Noe some ugly crap like the bolt extended battery. What was HTC thinking???

I ordered a cheap TPU material case from amazon for something like $7 shipped and its an amazing deal. It's a smoke colored diamond pattern and i chose it because i wanted something easier to slide out of my pocket than the regular cheap rubber silicone cases that get lint all over them and i didn't want to pay a lot of money. I also didn't want a snap on cheap plastic one that might scratch my phone so this seemed like a good choice.

I have grown fond of the tpu cases, especially the argyle pattern and it works well as regard to no lint and being non-sticky. I usually buy it for all my gadgets..xoom, Ipad, and thunderbolt.

I got mine off eBay for 4 bucks. I didn't want a glossy finish, nor the argyle pattern, so mine is a matte dark gray/black finish. It should feel better in the hand.

I put the screen protector on and gave it about a day and a half, 2 days before i put the case on (the put the case on carefully)
the case sits just a but on top of the screen protector, so far, it hasnt lifted, but whatever, lifetime zagg warranty
mine arrived in the mail, smoke grey colored argyle diamond pattern just like the pics posted. easy to slip on and off but would never fall off. MUCH better than the rubber silicone material yet still nice and smooth and almost rubber or gel feeling. slips in and out of a pocket easily yet feels a little better in the hand, it sort of grips slightly better than the actual phone surface, so better one handed use. very happy for under $10 shipped!

As someone who used the kickstand on my Evo OG a lot, I must have a case that includes a kickstand. Does anyone have any particular recommendations? I have used Seidio car mounts in the past, and they were very high quality and durable, but a bit on the heavy side (trade-off for durable I guess).

Oh man, I am so used to ordering everything from Amazon (or others) that I didn't even consider going to a store to get a case. I guess I was thinking that since the stores don't have the phones yet, they wouldn't have the accessories. Stupid thought process on my part. How is it bulky? Its like 2 inches long and one inch wide. And doesn't add much thickness to the phone at all. When your fingers are in it, you won't worry about dropping it at all. I can easily reach all 4 corners of my screen with this baby. watch Qbkings review of it

I had it on my epic touch for a few weeks (before I quickly got rid of it) and it never felt like it was getting loose. It uses the 3m double sided tape, the same tape on the wall hooks that 3m makes that are rated to hold 5 lbs.
Another thing I like is that it lifts the phone speaker of the surface more so it doesn't dampen the ringer. That is partially annoying cause it doesn't lay flat on a surface if your using your phone laying down, but isn't a huge deal.

Got mine yesterday. Wow what nice cases. Never had tpu cases with exact lined up cutouts and button are very nice and responsive. Super slim too! And best of all, fits my seidio holster perfectly!!

Perfect case!
I ordered a white one and a red one. The fit and quality is perfect, exactly what I have been searching for. I'll never have to look for the perfect case for my S3 again. Just one thing though, the red is not quite as dark as shown on the ZooGue website.
I picked one up when they had them for a penny + shipping on a whim. I love it. Great feel to it, the ridges on the sides are nice for grip. All the cut out line up perfectly. The only thing I dislike is the logo on the back. It's sunken plastic (same material) but glassy black on my matte case. Not a big deal at all, but I'd prefer it without logos, but I still love the case.

Are these cases any good?
The $1 seems very cheap. I know I could order 10 and still not really waste any money .
Also the case I used seemed to get dust between it and my phone causing small rubbing marks.

I was surprised to see that there was no thread about the new Otterbox coming out, so I thought I would start one. If there is already a thread, however, please let me know and I'll delet this one.

Besides the price, looks like a fantastic case. Does anybody know the release for this? On the Otterbox page, it says the iPhone 4/4s are coming out Feb 22nd, but does that include the GS3 as well? It seems strange than they would only release part of the series rather than the whole thing at once.

I think some of these company are a little too slow to get cases out. By the time you get these out, most have settles in on a case or moved on to the latest phone and they already missed out on a greater demand.
But a good portion of the public doesn't have to be on the cutting edge of technology and will buy a used or severely discounted gs3 after the gs4 comes out. For the simple fact of it's cheaper.

I was inform by the Malaysia distributor it be out somewhere middle next month for SIII and I actually paid advance lol well I was thinking it came out the same time as Iphone 4s armor series. Ordered one iphone 4s for my friend and siii for myself, only to be inform it was not out yet for SIIl.
Anyway I receive the otterbox armor for iphone 4s yesterday.. first thing I would say is.. Ultra Bulky LOL not that I am complaining about it (maybe a little) but it does feel solid even the material used felt good (Unlike lifeproof which claim to be military grade too friend had it and the case cracked after falling from his 10 ft or less staircase) it really has a military looks. I notice the shape is a bit like a square pyramid towards the screen top and not a straight square box like most armor case. Did the water test, car test, and drop test... not a single scratch :good:
My only hope is the SIII case would look less bulky then the iphone or it really would look like I be carrying a brick around.

I'm assuming they still have the awesome warranty on these as well like they do on the Defender and commuter? If so you could probably get one of these cheaper used.

That's what I'm wondering. With the other cases if something happens you call Otterbox and just have to send them a picture with your name written on a piece of paper beside your broken case and they send you a new one no questions asked. Im assuming its the same with this case but being that they are $100 each it maybe different. It doesn't matter where you buy it the warranty doesn't change.

I definitely will when i get time. I should get it sometime May 7, but i have work and class that day.
Price was steep but I've been saving up for this case for a while now. I need a completely dust proof case and my Griffin survivor is great, but I'm ready for a change.
