I dont see any options to import themes. How does it work?

If the developer makes a theme that is theme manager compatible, you install the apk. Then you check theme manager and you install it. The honeybread theme works this way, for example.
Ah ok so it uses apks. Thanks

Yes the themes are apks. Pretty much everything you need to know is in this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=948109
Basically you just download and install the apks just like they were apps. Some of them are in that thread and there are also some in the market. Then you just open up the theme chooser and pick what theme you want to use. After choosing your theme, you need to reboot because not all the changes are applied until after you reboot.

Check out EliteHD 2.5. I've tried a lot of themes and it is, in my humble opinion, kick ass. If you want the iphone look, this won't be for you. But if you want a slick look that has nearly every component of your phone themed, take a look at this.
Honeycomb! And if you miss the original look, now there is a HTC Sense theme.
Check theme manager
Click on Choose theme, then the Online theme tab. There's little difference between latest and featured. Theme names are in both english and chinese.

Would like to know what themes are out there for T-mobiles theme chooser.
Please include screenshots of the theme as well as a download link so we can install the theme (apk files only as zip flash files are handled differently by the roms being used).

how simple is it not to look on the Market and android themes thread.
The market themes are just colored themes (blue, red, pink, black) were only the main color is changed.
As far as searching the forums they are mostly flash themes for specific roms and not for the theme manager. I have only found one theme in the forum wich is a sense theme.
Sent from my Dream/Sapphire using XDA App
The sense theme is called ntsense and can be found at:

Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
There is a thread on here for swype themes somewhere. Just do a search for swype and you should find them. Ill try to find the link later and post it.

I would like a HTC theme for swype like the one found at:

Just not sure how to instal the cab file.
Sent from my HTC Magic using XDA App
You can't, .cab files are for Windows Mobile. You need a .apk file. Ill look for that link tommorrow for you for swype

Any MIUI Themes ?
I dont like the ones in Theme Manager . .
Those themes don't go here. And, I think the Theme Manager is the only way to get themes on MIUI. Have you tried downloading bunches of themes, then mixing them up with your favorite parts?

There's some here on xda under android themes. Also, theres some websites if you google miui themes.
http://miuithemes.com/
After you download these themes, go to your downloads folder in the miui file explorer, and press the mtz file and then that'll lead you to the miui theme manager where you can install. I hope that helps.
i just want to change the color of the bubbles since good ol blue and yellow is starting to seem bland to me. or are there already themes for just that?

You could look at WP7 theme (link in my sig). The bubles are colored there. It might give you the clues you need.

They were in the Theme sub forum I believe. Try searching for Impaler747 and transparent messaging.

Oops thought I edited my post. I just searched his name then looked through his started threads till I found it. While those are nice it would be cool to be able to do it myself at will. But this will do for now.

In his sig are all the tutorials to learn how to do it yourself. He said it is easy. I think it is xml editing and knowing the hex code for colors if I remember what he was trying to tell me.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
Here's a simple way.
1.) Download a theme for EC05 with a messaging app you like.
2.) Open it in 7zip or winrar(do not unzip)
3.) Delete all folders(if any) in the root of the zip except for system and META-INF.
4.) In the system folder delete all folders except app.
5.) Inside the system/app folder, delete everything except MMS apk.
6.) Back out of the zip
7.) Copy to SD, and flash through CWM
Follow that for any system/app.

If you switch to a Gingerbread Rom, here's the link to the new Transparent Themed Messaging apks. Froyo version won't work.

Good. Grab those tutorials I mentioned in Impaler's sig. Then you can start themeing lots of stuff. The only drawback to themeing non-system apps is they won't update, so keep that in mind if you theme an app that gets frequent updates.
Also Shane's themes often pack them seperately. Check Honeycomb Fusion explosion. It's my fav and the mms theme is very cool.
Glad you got it going. If you don't mind me asking, which MMS did you choose?

Hi, any updates on this?
I dropped it due to all the ROMs have this available.
Sent from my LG-E980 using Tapatalk 2
Get rom toolbox. Its loaded with themes and most if not all have links to the play store.
Sent from my LG-E980 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
i dnt think rom toolbox will give what u need..those themes are only for custom/aosp roms.
try gravity box, cant confirm but i knw theres a setting there to turn ur UI to dark/holo
I like dark themes too, and the easiest way to get them is by installing the custom rom that comes with the theme chooser. You can also try xpose mod and unicon app.
Sent from my LG-E980 using XDA Premium 4 mobile app
If you want dark themes. Either get an aosp ROM or you can use bountymans G3 ROM. Go to the G2 forums/ themes and apps, choose some themes for LG home they install like normal apk. On home screen press menu and select a theme.
Or you can use HK theme manager, Xposed theme manager.
