So I know that we have a deodexed EB13 rom here
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=963845
But I was wondering if anyone has the deodexed EB13 stripped to just the basic framework apks? I really want to try working on my own theme, but I have no idea how the programming works, just the graphic design.
I'm not sure if I can just delete all the extra stuff? But I figured it be easier if one of the themers here might have a stripped zip with just the framework for a theme I could use?
Thanks!

I've searched and tried looking for the thread that talked about this. I'm running Insertcoin Sense rom and I don't like the stock dialer and contacts apk. I would like to use gingerbread's apk and I need to find the right one to replace my current ones.
This step is new to me, so I will ask. Can I just use Root Explorer to replace those apks? I've seen how they do it for the Samsung G, by just pasting the new apk into the system app folder and removing the stock ones.
Thanks for your help.
can anybody help?
Here you go, I just extracted it from the AOSP rom. May I suggest if you like the look of gingerbread rather than sense then just flash a AOSP rom.
That's what i've done in the past but I like some things from sense that aren't in AOSP roms. Thanks for the links.
I really don't like the included theme... also no battery % is a dealbreaker.
No they won't.
EF02 as it currently stands.. Odex system
EE03 themes are deodexed and therefor you can't flash it over an odex system.

Not only this, but once EF02 (or EF10 since that seems to be about to be leaked) is deodexed you still don't want to mix frameworks since it might ruin fixes.
I saw in the Android Development section and they had made custom themes for the Gingerbread Keyboard. Would it be possible to make these flashable to use with 2.2. I tried flashing the mattedblues keyboard but it didnt work. If it is possible is there anyone willing to make it flashable or tell me what I need to do.
I am running SyndicateFrozen w/Genocide 2.0
I want to be able to use the mattedblues themed keyboard

They're all over the place here. Most are included with a theme though.

hi guys
is it possible to have a odexed system app folder and a deodexed framework in the same rom, if so what do we need to change to to make it work.??
I am pretty sure you can always either have a odexed or de-odexed rom, not both at the same time.
i thought that till i saw this rom
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200466
ive emailed dev but no reply yet. just wondered if anybody knew
What is the difference between the Odexed and Deodexed?
Hi Dan,
If I remember correctly you can decide in the kitchen whether to deodex apps, framework or both.
So, if you use a stock rom as base and you deodex framework, you will obtain a rom with odexed apps and deodexed framework.
In my case however I went the other way around. I had a completely deodexed gingerwally and I decided to odex system/app in the subsequent version. So, I just went to system/app and odexed all apks manually (with dexopt-wrapper, zip, and zipalign).
Note that for some reason some other devs at xda suggest not to mix odexed and deodexed apks in a ROM.
Imho I don't see any reason why not to do it.
I hope it helped,
Cheers,
ok i have managed to odex the dapps, reinstalled but they dnt show in my rom, no message app, now i didnt zipalign maybe this is why?
whenever i try to just odex the apps in the kitchen i get boot loops,
but i read somewhere u can odex the apps before the framework?
As far as I know, framework-res.apk contains all graphics resources used in rom such as statusbar icons and stuff. Is it possible to replace ugly GB framework with nice lookingICS framework? Will this work and change the look of oxygen rom to ics one?
try Mildwild rom ... it has ICS skin
I tried it but I did not liked it, anway thanks for response
