I bought 2 batteries for $21 each from a US seller. they arrived today and are identical (and working).
http://cgi.ebay.com/OEM-EXTENDED-BA...uetooth_Wireless_Products&hash=item3a639a09c1
Charger is harder to find. Still only from HK but cheap. $5.99
http://cgi.ebay.com/BH5X-BH6X-Batte...439194?pt=PDA_Accessories&hash=item2a0e978bda
So the batteries are exactly the same as the one in the atrix currently? It would be sweet if they WERE extended. I wouldn't mind extra battery life for $21.
so there is no need for that "extended battery door"?
Its exactly the same battery. Identical in every way.
Arrived on 2 days. I have been using the 'spare' and it performs the same. The door thing must be for the drpoidx which prob takes a smaller battery.
The last time I had a standard battery this big was my Treo 650!

heres the charger i got from amazon, looks / works just like the one came with the phone
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B004EYSKM8
i also got a car charger
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000S5Q9CA
Just to clarify, the EXTENDED Droid X battery is the same as the STOCK Atrix battery. Buying this will NOT be an extended battery for the Atrix.
will this also work http://www.amazon.com/2300mAh-Li-io...1G/ref=sr_1_28?ie=UTF8&qid=1299095691&sr=8-28 ?

Most of the eBay listings give the capacity of the BH-6X at 1880 mAh, but the specs on the Atrix say the battery is 1930 mAh... wonder if they're 2 versions of this battery.

thats ridiculous
doesnt even look that bad
I'll buy one if it comes with the back cover hell yeah.
Considering their larger capacity "stock" size batteries are not what they are rated at, I think I'll stick to my HTC brand 2750 until someone actually gets one of these and measures it out.
Not worth the premium price if you're only getting, say...2800 mah compared to what they are advertising....
Considering since it says it has "double" the factory battery, I'd be someone tests this out a few hundred mah lower than advertised.

These are a complete ripoff, dont waste your money.
Anyone notice the picture says 1500mAh.
Nice.....
Why not just strap a car battery to it...Maybe we can go back to the days of bag phones, and backpack batteries...

OOhh then my phone might actually last until i go to sleep like most phones do.
Considering how the TB uses the battery cover as an extended antenna, I think I'm going to stick with the OEM extended battery and battery cover this time.

LOL! good observation!
hahahha omg nice catch 1500.... haha
sooooo bulkyyyyyy........
I stopped using my extended battery. It's too damn bulky. I was actually surprised by how good the stock battery is.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OaTO8_KNcuo
I don't get it. The OEM batteries are so small and thin. I just keep an extra one in my second pocket at all times.
That looks so stupid but I might have to invest in one because the terrible battery life on this phone makes me insane. Im even tempted to go back to my droid.

No doubt it's just a placeholder, since they didn't have a real image at the time. Not that anyone really believes it'll be 3200 anyway...
How can their possibly still be people out there who believe Seidio's claims about their batteries?

wondering how to change this battery?
Was my biggest worry with buying this phone, would be awesome to be able to finally upgrade the battery
Battery Packs
There are 3000+ mAh battery packs available that have a short cable to plug into the micro usb port. While quite small, not really something you'd consider to be a daily driver.

They generally cost around $25 US.
I've even seen 10,000mAh battery packs

with the right rom and power tweaks, I've found the battery to be sufficient. I text often, make numerous voice calls, read the news, some social media and other random apps daily. Lasts me from wake to sleep with no problems
I purchased a Unicharge 5600 mah external battery for 20 dollars off Amazon. Works well for whenever I need some extra battery. I can usually get about 7-8 hours from my One V (Airplane mode but with Wi-Fi enabled and with moderate camera use).

Away man I just bought the 4800mah from ebay yesterday
But some one modded 2 batteries together. I might try that with the back cover.

If you do all that might as well wait for the seido battery cause if you bought the eBay one then another OEM one it will cost u just as much as buying a seido lol

advertise 4800 and get 2600 , lol those Chinese guys are insane , i expected at lest 3500 ++ but 26xx is already non sense considering the size , low build quality or possible damage to the phone
Careful with Lithium-Ion battery mods.

Be very careful tinkering with hacking together lithium-ion batteries. They aren't like alkaline batteries that can be run in serial.
I'd post a link but I'm too new. Check out adafruit's site for some information on batteries.

I was skeptical about buying this due to how cheap it is, to anybody looking for a cheap alternative, this is for you.
Click HERE to view the battery on Amazon (UK)
I've seen people saying some batteries will not charge or that it's slow. This isn't, I've charged it a few times and it gets up to the 90%~ mark and remains neutral, it doesn't slow down whatsoever.
I completely forgot to screenshot my battery use after a solid 5 hour Final Fantasy 7 session with still 60%~ remaining.
The battery fit isn't great, it does fit in but it could be a lot better.
The extended case is cheap, it's made out of plastic and very hollow. With the added weight no doubt it would crack if dropped.
To sum up, the battery is well worth the price depending on use. I use it for playing games when I'm just chilling at my friends house, so here's for those who are wanting something for a similar use.
I had this battery, but it was less powerful than the original... weird.
Having used Anker batteries and travel chargers since my s2, i can safely say they can have my money any time, they make affordable but really great products. There batteries certainly last longer than stock.

WOW, 4400 mAh are good. The only problem is the expansion cover..doesn't look very well
But with 4400 you will have more power of course

The problem with the cover I had is that nobody makes a case for it. I'm using a Q cell cover with mine.

I have this as well, the back covers they come with are not the best quality, and the battery is great, however it blocks the NFC capability. Ordered a Zerolemon 6300 Mah from Amazon a few days ago, should be here Thursday.
Hey guys, this august i will be celebrate second aniversary of wfs  Now i using CM 10.1 Owl Project. Every night before sleeping i plug charger. Then i woke up afternoon and i go outside. While i outside battery draining so fast. Even im not using much phone, only i open 3G and i put in my pocket. About 3 hours my battery shows %30-%40. Is it normal or my battery is dead? Sorry for my bad english.
Edit:
Also brightness at low.
A two year old phone having such a battery life is normal(My WFS is also 2 years old :laugh......if you want to,you can buy a replacement battery...I currently have a 1500 mah battery, but it's still isn't enough
So my advice would be to buy a battery with an even higher capacity,if you think of buying one
