I have a nooby question - since last weekend I'm owner of the Desire HD - now I sync my agenda with Google Calander my business meetings as well my private appointments - now I want to set some new appointments on Private/confidential in the Agenda App of HTC Agenda - I can find the option to do this - please can somebody help me

Hi!
I need a little Help with the Calendar Widget. I have two Cals, one is google, and one is the normal Cal. I synch my appointments to the google cal, and the company cal to the normal built in cal (using synthesis Syncml app, witch by the way works great). My problem is... using the HTC Cal widgets. I have the small one on my home screen and the agenda view on another (showing all Cals). Is there a way to restrict the HTC Today widget (the small one using only 1 line) to use only my google cal, while keeping all the others in the Agenda view?

its probably not possible, u could try to use other calendar application with a widget
I have a problem with my HTC Desire - When I am trying to change date in order to reschedule a recurring appointment (In Edit function) nothing is happand. In the other way - I can change the time and other fields...Is anybody here notice this problem and have a solution for that ???

Just wondering if there is any way to sync ALL google calendar events with my HTC Desire? Not just 1 year but all entries.
Search resulted in many calendar discussions but i did not find any answer to this question.

Hi everyone,
I've been searching for an answer to this one for a while, but no one seems to have this issue.
On may old HTC magic, when I created a calendar event I could choose "More options" and set the event to private. With the one x, this option appears to be missing and all events are created as"default".
I am using the calendar app that comes with the one x (I would prefer to keep using this app if possible, I think this is the google calendar app with a sense skin). I only sync and display google calendar, but I also have hotmail accounts setup on the phone (only sync/display mail with these).
I can create the calendar event and then go to the web version and make it private but this kind of defeats the purpose of creating the events in the phone. I need to make some events private as I have others looking at the calendar to see when I am available but I don't want them to be able to see the details.
Has anyone seen a solution to this? I was really hoping that with the150odd people that have looked at this thread that someone might know of a solution.

Is there a way to set the default calendar for new events you create on your phone using the default HTC calendar app?
Back on the ICS when I created a new event I selected the right calendar while creating the event (on the top-left) and after creating one event it would remember which calendar I used and use that as the default one for new events.
Now on JB that doesn't seem to work anymore, so now I keep having to select the right calendar, which I often forget.
Also is there a way to change the color of a calendar? Now it just randomly assigns a color to all the events from a single calendar, but I would like to set it myself.

I'm experiencing the same issue as I'm using the google calendar, but new events get created in the pcsync-calendar every time.
Did you find a solution yet?

The same issue. With every new entry in calendar I always have to change the calendar from default PCSync calendar to gmail.com calendar (PCSync does not sync to google account) even if the PCSync calendar is not selected in visible calendars.
I did not find any solution yet.

The default Google Calendar app (https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.google.android.calendar) remembers last calendar used.
But it's not a solution if you want to use stock HTC calendar.
