Are you talking about that 3 d gallery? It sucks big time. But a search on this section will reveal it if you type 3d gallery or gallery3d

Yes, it does. I only installed it so I can change the wallpaper in the Google CAR Home app.

Sorry for the late reply, the reason is it takes too long to load & doesn't support high res movies/thumbnails, at least for me.
Btw O.C.ed at 1.5g.

Default launcher on DZ

I was wondering if it's possible rockt get the default android launcher on my DZ? I've already tried launcher pro and ADW and while both of them are pretty neat I'd like to at least have the option to use and test it for comparison...

Cool, thx!
Do I have to root my phone for this? Well, to move the launcher to system obviously, but for using the launcher itself I don't, do I?
you shouldnt have to

I've tried to install the launcher using the app manager I got the simple message telling me "application not install" (something like that, I translated from German).
Is this a sign of a corrupted app or that I have to root my device or is this non-compatible with 2.2.1?

you have to follow this instructions http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=9306925&postcount=552
your goin to have to be rooted to do this :/

I'll have to downgrade my DZ before I can root, so I'll need to look into backup options first.
Thanks for your help guys!

By the way, I did downgrade my phone, installed CM6.1.1 and I'm very happy with the default launcher now
I really don't see the advantages of adw over default launcher...

Crazy question?

Is there a donut rom out there for the G2? I'm feeling nostalgic.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Nope no donut rom

You could always find the icons and wallpaper to make a ROM 'look' like it. Of course some things won't look the same still.
Maybe you could port it for us

Ics multitasking on cm7?

Is there a way to get the multitasking installed on gingerbread?

omg, I think he wants different windows of screens to appear.. haha
ツ
Other than the ICS style launcher, I haven't seen anything.
Edit: if I recall there is a button on the home screen to do it, not holding home like normal. I only used it for about an hour.

2 questions!

I am going to try 3.5 one more time... I am going to run supercharger but the last time I did I used mega ram 2 and really didn't see a difference. Amy suggestions? Also, can you change the panels on sense from 7 to 5?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Have you tried BeatMod BlissSense? It's Sense 3.5 and really smooth. And to my knowledge you can't change the number of homescreens. Perhaps on some Sense ROMs but none that I've used.

On 3.5 roms, to remove panels:
Use two fingers to pinch and zoom out, then let go, hold on one homescreen, and you can drag it to a bin at the bottom

Awesome.... Thanks guys! I'll give bliss sense a try as well!

Stock apps on custom ROM

I've tried several different ROMs on my WFS since I rooted it a couple months ago but there are a few apps like the camera and browser that are never as stable ad the stock ones and I can't find anyplace to get them. Is there anyway to get the stock apps and put them in a custom ROM? If someone could put the camera, browser, and calendar apps in a flashable zip that would be awesome!

Stock stuff requires sense framework to run so there is no way it'd run on a senseless rom ex cm, miui, aokp etc.

Oh, that really sucks. You know any good apps that actually work on this phone? Opera is the only browser I've found that will scroll through pics right but it closes all the time and I'd really like to have some control of the cameras focus.
