Are you looking for the sense one or the AOSP one?

It won't work, it's a new API thats been opened up in 2.2. (I think, correct me if I'm wrong)
You'll need to root. Sorry mate.
There are a few widget type thing that will allow you to use the LED as a flash light, Beam Widget is one,.Which was developed by someone on here

You don't need root or any modifications for the Flashlight.apk to work.
I have sent the apk to a non-rooted stock 2.1 desire and it installed fine and works perfectly.

Very nice. Is there anything else on that rom of interest for 2.1users?
I just flashed the CyanogenMod ROM and do not see the FM Radio app installed or available in the market. I've been searching the forum archive for a download link or other way of installing it but haven't found the answer. Can anyone tell me where/how I can get it? I'm looking for the regular HTC app that comes with the stock phone.
Cyanogen is not HTC so does not have access to their programs they may eveuntally create their own that works

I very much doubt you here anything. Maybe you hear something?
What shows up in ROM Manager is up to a ROM's developers And in the case of MIUI, the sticky message on forums.miui-dev.com which announces the new release requests: "PLEASE do not post direct links to the download or mirrors on other sites. I am trying to keep track of as much information as possible. Thanks!".
So go to MIUI-dev.com to get that site's fruits.
Installs with cwm 3, runs awesome with chads newest!

I'm currently running mikg 2.56 and its awesome but I don't like the 3.0 lockscreen...I have a sense 2.1 ROM ready to flash but I'd like to have 3.0 messaging...any suggestions? If possible I'd like to use root explorer cause I don't have a computer handy at the moment. Thanks in advance.

One thing you can do is go to settings, display and at the bottom click on the stock android lockscreen and it will change to the tab lockscreen. Hope this helps

You could try pulling the message apk from mikg and then push it to the system partition on your new Rom and install it.

Exactly, just place it in /system/app
I like to use my radio sometimes but I am using a rom without one.
So my question is, is there a stock radio available?
Grap it from a stock rom and push to system/app.
Might work, if not, its not possible

Here you go.
Stock Radio
Be aware, if your rom isn't based on stock, radio app will not work.
