[solved] Cannot get LeeDrOiD V.2.2 to work - Desire HD Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi,
I'm running LeeDrOiD v2.0.0 with DesireHD-1.72_Stock_kernel_tun_cifs and 12.28e.60.140fU_26.04.02.17_M2 radio.
I tried to flash LeeDrOiD v2.2.2 using CWM recovery 2.5.1.3 but this does not work.
Then I tried using CWM recovery 3.0.0.6 also without success.
Do I nead full wipe?

I had that error too. Did full wipe and all 3 times in a row but if I ever turn my phone off it freezes at the boot screen and I have to wipe and reflash.
After wasting much time I fixed the problem by flashing a different rom.

Try flashing core Droid or revolution.

I've upgraded mine to v2.2.2 using CMW. I am using the older recovery (i.e. 2.5.1.3)
No freeze or error message.

I'll try Android Revolution HD tonight.
See if that helps.

i had same problem with Leedroid 2.2.2 after i did a full wipe also, i fixed mine by restoring my last Nandroid backup , then flashing w/o a full wipe with CWM 2.5.1.3

a full wipe worked for me to.

Flashing Android Revolution HD 2.0.15 and the 2.0.16 patch did the job.
Successfully flashed LeeDrOiD HD 2.2.2 without full wipe.
Thanks for your help.

sippo, move to android revolution hahaha

on gingerbread and cant go back

so im stuck on gingerbread, and can only use my backup with is a gingerbread one, when i reload cwm 2.5.x through fastboot its doesnt work just loas the rom and never boots past the htc screen. being stuck on gingerbread aint the worst but i always like to move around. any ideas?
try flashing the recovery from rom manager, this will install the 2.5 recovery. fastboot flash will only work if you have the eng h-boot, radio s-off won't do.
yeah got the eng h-boot
and im geting into 2.5, and it says it loads but no dice.
doing the install through rom manager just force closes on gingerbread for me.

You can't flash back to CM6 via the ROM Manager. You need to flash CWR v2 via the ROM manager, boot into recovery and manually flash your CM6 backup. And be sure to do a full wipe of everything before flashing

You should still go the gfree route, they found the initial hack could be overrided; check the Wiki here for a guide to use gfree for those of us that rooted from the get go.

Okay, I think I got it. You flashed Gingervillan without backing up your stock ROM?

If you want to flash a non-GB ROM, you need the CWM2 (which is what you did). It sounds like after you put this recovery back though, you tried to flash a GB backup? This won't work (since anything GB requires CWM3).
If you have the CWM2 recovery, just go download any Froyo-based ROM you want to use, place the zip on you SD card, boot into recovery, and apply the zip.
nah just tried to flash a 2.2 rom through cwm2.5 no backup will only flash gb backup through 3.0.0.5

Desire newbie needs advice

Hi guys, i only got my desire yesterday (bye bye cliq/dext at last) its a uk desire pvt-4 with 40000 errorsize. I had a small problem rooting where unrevoked 3.32 wouldn't properly install amonRA or CWM, in the end i had to use unrevoked 3.21 and i'm now running ReflexTSenseHD 1.8 Sense DHD 2.2 FRF91 A2SD+ OC'd to 1113Mhz. Have tried flashing a lot of the roms available and not all of them seem to work for me. CyanogenMOD7 and Oxygen v2.0 RC7 get to the setup screen and then go into an endless bootloop, whilst DeFroST 6.1a, RCMixHD v3.0 and Amethyst RC7 won't load past the htc splash screen. I have H BOOT S-ON still as i'm not entirely confident at attempting the AlphaRev 1.8 method just yet, could this be the cause?
Thanks in advance for any replies, kingears

No. When your using a new rom, you have to do a factory reset and wipe both caches. If that doesn't work then just reflash it or wipe the /system partition since it seems to work for me. With PVT4 you do need AmonRA recovery since CWM doesn't work properly. You can S-Off you Desire but it isn't needed at all unless you need it doing.
I always wipe data, cache and dalvik cache before flashing a new rom, so seems strange that some work and some don't. I didn't think having S-ON would make a difference.

I don't know. Use AmonRA recovery and redownload roms. Check the md5 to see if it's downloaded alright then flash it. There shouldn't be a problem unless the root went tits up
Will do, thanks for your help

Just make sure you are not using fake recovery from inside rom manager.
I don't get why a lot of people still use that useless app.
I don't use Rom manager, no need for it

me either, it's so easy to use clockworkmod recovery, why do you still need an app?

[Q] Can't Boot My Phone After ARHD 6.1.0 Installation

Hello guys,
I have problems after installing ARHD 6.1.0. I used Super Wipe and after that I installed ROM, but then boot stucks at HTC screen. I have also tried to instal "Set CPU Back to 1 GHZ" but it has't solved my problem.
I also tried it several times to do the same.

Hi,
Thanks guys for your help, I after I redownloaded ROM file and tried it again, it has been working just fine.
Thanks again.
Hi,
I am experiencing something similar. I have copied the Rom and the superwipe script. I ran Superwipe which said it was successful then ran the ARHD sensation 6.2.1.zip.
After it completes (no errors) I reboot and the white screen appears with HTC on it....and it stayed there for over 20 minutes
How do I know if the md5 is correct? and how do I - now that I have superwiped the phone - get a new ARDH file on the phones sd card? I don't have a micro sd reader
suggestions and help much appreciated!

[Q] Boot animation repeating after flashing Sense 3.5 ROM

Hi, I recently flashed a new rom from -> http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1250815 . After I booted the phone, the boot animation "quietly brilliant" appears and starts to repeat itself. The home screen/system would not even load. Is there a solution to this problem? Thanks.
I can't answer your question, but for the people that can you need to provide more info.. For example hboot info, s-on/s-off, method used to flash rom and anything you did prior to flashing the rom.
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
Thanks for your reply. My hboot version is 6.9.3.1002, s-offed using Revolutionary, rooted using unrevoked. My current Rom is CM7.0.3 - Desire. I flashed rom using cwm 5.0.2.0. Before I flash I wipe data and my dalvik cache.
Did you do a full wipe? Do u have the latest radio as suggested? Do you have the correct partition on your sd card?
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
I did everything correctly. I am unsure of my radio. Mine is 5.17.05.23. Is it the latest version? Thanks.
Yes that's the latest radio. This is where my experience ends unfortunately, someone else will have to pick up...
Swyped from my CM7.1 Desire using XDA Premium App
Thanks for replying. Now the problem is solved. However, there is a new problem. After the boot animation, a blank wallpaper just appears, with no icons. There is only a notification bar but that bar cannot be pulled down. It only says that my internal storage is almost full. What can I do now?
To be honest you're probably better off asking the question in the rom thread as I have no experience with that particular rom.. Sorry I couldn't help any further.

Have you flashed the stockhboot.zip? That should solve the internal memory issues

[Q] HTC One V root

I know i know, some may be mad at me for posting this, but i HAVE browsed the forums looking for an answer.
Phone all rooted, was running cyanogen 10.1, with twrp recovery and all worked fine.
P.S. I have a backup of original Stock sense that i performed
I tried to flash the myonev rom on this thread
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2218307
I follwed all procedures, wiped my phone, installed kernel, flashed boot etc.
My problem is that now, the phone will boot for about 1 minute, then restart. I tried restoring to original OS and Cyanogen which i also backed up, no luck, still restarts now. I need to know what i can do to fix this or if there is anything.
What is your radio and hboot version?
