Where to get LCD replacement for Desire HD? And what's the cost etc. How hard it is to replace it and so on.
A good place to start looking is amazon.co.uk (should have free shipping) - or a shop located in your country, to avoid pricy shipping
I tried amazon already, but couldn't find the screens itself. Couple digitizers were on sale, but not looking those.

The outside of the phone doesnt have a single dent or scratch and the phone is still completely usable its just the LCD has cracked across the length of the screen.

that is a LCD Display Lens Panel or touch screen digitizer as it is also known, I dont need that as mine is still intact. What I need is the actual LCD panel/display. Thanks for trying tho.
yeap, wrong item
you can try order from here http://www.wirelesspartsinc.com/motorolamb525charmlcdscreen.aspx not cheap
nice find, thank you. but with shipping its gonna be over $100 dollars, i think i will just hold off till there are more available here in the uk so the price comes down a bit. hopefully lol.
so i contacted my local motorola repair center and they said a new screen will cost around £59 so got it booked in i thought it was quite a good price as to buy one of a internet shop if your lucky to find one selling the screens would work out closer to £100 with postage and then you gotta fit it yourelf.
Hi all,
I broke my SGS2 screen recently. I saw there is a very extensive tutorial to replace it.
However, I am puzzled at the offer on eBay. Prices go from around 100$ to 200$ for (allegedly) the same thing.
I can only guess that not all parts offered are genuine, even though they have Samsung written on the front.
AFAIK Samsung is the only one who knows how to produce SAMOLED+ screens so if those replacement are not genuine they should be LED I guess?
Can anyone comment on that? Are the 100$ assemblies (screen + glass) cheap knockoffs with LCD screens or are they as good as the original screen?
Thanks!
Hey the screen of my Nexus 5 just broke down the 2nd time a few weeks ago.
I have already replaced it once on my own last winter and i paid about 120€ for the whole replacement part (screen with frame and everything) but I don't want to spend so much money another time because I'd rather buy a new phone. Replacement screens on eBay start at about €105 + shipping ,but if anybody could tell me where I can get a replacement for a moderate price (about €70?) I would probably think about replacing the screen once again.
After some research on the internet i found some chinese shops on aliexpress.com who offer them for about €60 with free shipping (I'm living in Austria) but I'm not sure if these screens are OEM/good quality and I'm also not sure if there will be any customs duty if I order them directly from China to Austria.
For example this one looks serious to me: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/LCD-...exus-5-1pcs-lot-Free-shipping/1541156424.html (the part itself looks like the one I ordered the last one - some ohters on this shop are looking slightly different) but in the reviews some people say this one is not oem. Will I be able to use it normally with an european Nexus device?
This one for example says it is oem but doesn't have many reviews and is slightly more expensive: http://www.aliexpress.com/item/OEM-...-Touch-Digitizer-Screen-Frame/1584183589.html I think I'd rather pay some euros more and get an oem part but can I buy this part without issues (shipment, duty, etc.)?
Has anybody already made experience with one of those sellers and could recommend me one shop where I can get a good screen replacement (the whole thing) for a moderate price?
Have you tried out ordering there? Or did you go with a more expensive one?
I recently picked up a oneplus one with a deadspot on the touchscreen for 130 dollars and am looking for a replacement screen. There are many ranging from 50- 100 on ebay, aliexpress, amazon, etc, and I am unsure of which seller I can trust; some lack the capacitive buttons, have touchscreen issues, and so on. Can anyone who has replaced their screen with good results provide a link from which they bought theirs. My budget is anything under 60 and ideally it should ship from the us. Thanks.
I just bought 2 screens. One was from China and showed up with a dead spot in the screen. The other was from seller tradestar55 for $70 and the screen is perfect also its a US seller. Highly recommend avoiding the China crap and spending $20 more for something in the US. Go with tradestar55.
I dropped my phone, screen cracked but still usable, i put a clear tape.. where and how can i buy a replacement as im living in qatar? Any legitimate sites i can order? Thanks
Aliexpress has lots of aftermarket (not original) parts - https://m.aliexpress.com/search.htm?keywords=mi+max+screen+replace#/
They take time to deliver (around 1 month), but if you don't get it, they refund the money. Other option is to go for you local ebay.
I ordered this one https://www.aliexpress.com/item/100...-for-Xiaomi-Mi-Max-Pro-Mimax/32737289760.html
The seller have also a not "original" one with cost about half.
I install it but have a problem with the back light, don't know yet if I have a problem unit.
