[Q] Beginner: How to return to stock from CM7 RC?

Hi
How can i return to the froyo 2.2 my Defy came with? Which sbf do i need for Germany? Or ist this working over a *.zip?
Wanna be able to return to stock in case i want to sell it..
Plz help or guide me to the right thread...cant find it
EDIT: Ok found the info here on XDA...
have you tried browsing through the official SBFs page? There is a list of FULL SBFs (I think) that you may flash on your phone.
But you have to remember what particular CG version you had prior to installation of CM7. Check the thread about the Beginner's Guide to Motorola Defy. It's a very informative guide.
downgrade
is it possible to downgrade from defy 2.3.4 gingerbread?

Click to collapse
I think so. I'm assuming that Gingerbread 2.3.4 and 2.3.5 are under the same CG versions (that's from how I understood the All-in-One guide).
But you haven't flashed any FULL SBFs yet, right? You just installed the CM7?

How to root retail Defy+ 2.3.6?

I have tried to root my recently bought Defy+, but none of the "one click"-solutions work for my 2.3.6 firmware Defy+
Anyone got experience with rooting 2.3.6 Defy?

If it's the stock gingerbread (2. 3.4) of the defy + you can root it here http://www.psouza4.com/droid3/

Android version is 2.3.6 (Gingerbread) Pete's Motorola Root Tools gives me an error and states the exploit may have been patched in my newer version.
Any other suggestions?
did you try the droid3 root script?? but it doesnt work for 2.3.5

There is a 2.3.6???
Indeed there is 2.3.6. Might be the Scandinavian edition. I would take a screenshot for you all, but then again I'd have to be root...
You can read the sticky topic "[GUIDE] All-in-One Defy Beginner's guide" and follow the downgrade section.
Oh, you just wanted to root it, not downgrade it, my bad.

SGH-t989D Telus ICS ROM now up for download via SamMobile!

Couldn't download it guys, but here is the link Its at the bottom
Awesome news, I thought this would be available June 12th, but if it's out now I want to update ASAP.
Does anyone with more experience than myself know the easiest way to update to the newest version. I am rooted, but currently on stock? Thanks.
Sweetness
