Gps not connecting on Myns#4 or fresh 3.5

When I go to Google nav its just says checking for gps service. Google maps work but not sure if that just uses the network location. Any know if its Google nav or my Gps sensor not working. By the way I flashed Myns 3 times with RM with a wipe and fresh with the same.

I'm running fresh 3.5 as well and having the same problems. Not only will maps not get my signal, but Facebook check-in won't get my location either, so I'm pretty sure it has to do with the gps.

I wish I had a fix. It was actually doing this before fresh, I think it started with cm6. I did a full restore and wipe before flashing fresh, so I have no idea what the problem is.

Im running Myn's RLS 4 with SBC for Bc's Kernel v6 and my GPS works perfectly. If you are having GPS issues try looking at a different kernel.

Well I found a six for myself. I'm using a different kernel now. I'm using the stock #17 instead of ziggy. So far so good. No lag seems pretty flawless. Battery life nor sure yet.

Just wondering if there is GB for incredible with working netflix app. Tough to give up netflix now that we've got it.

No problem! I give the developers credit, its pretty cool that they've gotten sense 3.0 features working on our phone but when it comes to speed, stability and compatibility, nothing beats CM7 and that's why I stick with it.

GingerBread MIUI also supports netflix.

netflix shouldnt work on the leak and dont expect it to work either because one(its a leak
two(netflix hasnt been updated for htc droid incredible android 2.3.3.........And no just because it works on cm7 doesnt mean it will work on gingersense..

Definitely works on MIUI GB.

I'm running GB 2.3.4 omfgb rom and the latest update of netflix v1.3.0 no longer works. When I try to play a vid it goes to the loading screen and then right back to the main screen. If I use my backup of the previous version 1.2.2 it works fine.
It is slightly annoying that the app keeps notifying me that there is an update available, but at least that is only upon launching the app and returning to the menu from watching a vid.
I was just curious if anyone else was having any issues like this.

Wildstang got it working on the pure speed rom(my daily rom, i love it, speedy, battery hog, but speedy), and i think nillsp is working on it for his Gingersense roms (which are good, btw)
i don't use netflix so i really could care less

wipe everything 3x, flash cm7 then flash google apps zip then reboot ?

I got the best battery life on CM7 Alpha 4. I had it barebone and underclocked to 800mhz. I got around 20 hours on stock battery. Since then I wussied out and bought an extended battery. After that Syndicate seems to be doing better than CM7!
I also got around 17 hours on Bonsai. But I couldn't handle the low memory problem.

any thread for support/how to on details of cm7 ?
no need for ext battery here...i have 4 batteries, all OEM. one is always charging in the external charger, one in the phone, and 2 on standby used in the rotation

Wipe everything 3x flash cm7 let it boot. Then go back into cwm and flash gapps. No wipe for gapps

that blows...i have a feeling im gonna be doing a nandroid backup of my current aa anonymous rom, flash cm7 for about 30 mins , then restore my AA.

I would recommend either viperrom synergy, or syndicate 1.1.1 with Rodderik's Genocide kernel. In combination with juice defender my phone last all day sometimes 30 hours depending on usage.

Random reboots

I was on Calkulins ics 1.4 and just switched to CM9. I was and still am getting random reboots on both of these. The only thing that's stayed the same is my FD02 modem. I have not updated it yet. Could the modem/version cause issues like this or is it most likely something else?

Did it happen when you were running Gingerbread? I have heard this is not too uncommon when running the ICS leaks because they are not final yet. Also I hope you have a Epic touch because in your post it says you are using a Motorola Startac. If that is the phone you are using, you are on the wrong forum.
Also what root method did you use? When I first got my phone I rooted using the root that gives you the yellow triangle and I got crazy random reboots and random shut downs. I returned to stock then re rooted using Sfhubs latest root method and I have not had one problem since.

Are you using SetCPU?

Its a known issue with the FC and FD leaked builds. It has been getting progressively better with each new leak. If you're in a good reception area you should be ok. Most resets are occurring when going in and out off 4G roaming.
The only real fix at this point is to go back to an FB build (I think FB27 was the last one without the reset issue)or Gingerbread.

It didn't happen on GB. Only on Calkulins last rom and CM9. Not using SetCPU. I'll try an older modem before I go back to GB.
Also has there been issues where after opening an app the menu box starts popping up without touching the menu button? It happens in my Gmail, browser (stock), and Waze GPS. I also only noticed this on these last couple ics roms.

Ya, from what I have seen that is also a known issue. I would go back to Gingerbread. I am not switching untill everything is smooth and stable.

Same problem here. I was doing fine and dandy on the GB kernels and roms and then i made the switch to the Venum/CM9 and everything just started rebooting. I went back to stock rom/kernel el 29 but i still get reboots. I've tried everything and i just have to narrow things down.

Streaming (Pandora) causing random reboots

Is anyone else getting random reboots while streaming pandora? It has happened to me every time I listen to pandora for long periods (over half hour). I have tried it on multiple roms and it happens on all of them. The only thing I havent tried it on is stock. Im going to try that today.

I run Pandora on stock for hours at a time and haven't had any reboots or lockups. (Knock on wood)

I have been running it on stock for over 2 hours with no reboots.

any other details? are you using an older version of pandora perhaps?

Im using pandora 4.0, I have found that if I use the stock rom, Im not having any problems. When I use the stock services.jar, so far I havent had any problems. All of the roms that I have had the issue with have a modded services.jar in them.

I havent had any issues running it. I am running a badseed modded Pandora 4.0.(unlimited skips, no ads, transparent background) I also changed my proxy settings to all zeros. I dont use the radio, just stream Pandora to my truck stereo. I've run it as ling as eight hours straight two days ago without issues. Im on Venum Ice reborn.
