Unable to upgrade samsung galaxy mini GT S 5570 firmware

Hello
I am new user in this forum. I need your help.
I have samsung galaxy mini GT S 5570, mobile phone, and have the latest version of samsung kies 2.0 software.
When I connect the device to computer the Kies showed a message that this device firmware can not be updated.
Current Firmware version: PDA:KA3/PHONE: KA2/CSC:KA3
Please help me what should I do?
I will be grateful to you if you help me.
Someone wrote this method on some other web site but this is for samsung galaxy s, please anyone know this method for samsung galaxy mini GT S 5570:

Froyo. JPKA3, which is an arabic version and i lived in asia, that s why samsung kies showed a message that your firm ware cannot be updated.........

I Just bought samsung galaxy mini GT S 5570, mobile phone, and downloaded the latest version of samsung kies 2.0 software.

Froyo. JPKA3 Version 2.2.1. It's language was Arabic and i changed in Endlish US and when I installed the KIES then the same language is selected.
Now the problem is > why is it NOT showing that the upgrade is available?

I presume that you are using a PC connected to the net.
I believe KIES looks up your phone on Samsung's websites and probably decides that an upgrade for your area / your phone is not available. We really do not know how kies works internally, so cannot say why KIES says no upgrade is available, when in fact, upgrades for your region / region from where you purchased the phone are available.
If you are looking for official firmware - look at samfirmware, and use ODIN (NOT kies) to upgrade.

Update firmware to S5570XXKPF from samfirmware, flash ur phone with tj_style's CM7 rom... And enjoy.

FW Update treu Kies

First of al sorry for my bad english, i'm from the netherlands and have some problems with Kies and my Wave (s8500)
I have done some FW from samfirmware.com and that was working perfect. i install bada 2.0 beta from that website and was perfect, only battery leak bud oké.
but because bada 2.0 will come out OFW soon i had my wave back to bada 1.2 (s8500XXJID) but know when i open KIES there is a sign there is no fw update.. but there really is i know that for sure.
please help me.

You need to install CSC from your region but i dont know which is,look at the samfirmware

and where to look. the only download's i can find are full fw pack

Ask someone from your country which FW he has and look for that FW on samfirmware or here mysamsungwave.com/index.php?topic=10277.0

you remember u r old fw 1.2 version?
if u are then download it from samfirmware and just change csc to u r region..
and u can ask other guys who hav same wave and not flashed or he updated with kies latest fw..

For Netherlands, download any firmware with the XEN csc.
After flashing, make sure you install the correct csc in pre-Configuration setting.
Then connect to kies to upgrade to the latest version.
Best of luck.
NB: If you cannot find the latest firmware with XEN,
download this S8500XXJF4_Full_PRO with XEN csc (original from Samsung) and flash with it.
Then use kies to upgrade to latest version.

[Q] Stock Rom problem

i have a problem and it will be awsome when someone can help me .
i have a Note 2 GT-N7100
i bought this Note 2 in Romania ( it was written in Kies CSC :LJ5 ( COA) ) .
i tought i just flash an other stock rom DBT ( Germany ) because i wanted to receive every update when it comes out (like i bought the Phone there ) .....
1 what can i do to get the updates from there offical ?
2 when not i tried already to flash it back to the stock rom which has to be normaly compatible with updates .... now kies writes ther no supportet.......... and its ALB but i flasht the romanian ro cosmote COA

As long as you have a stock rom with stock recovery you will be able to get updates. Keep in mind updates are all dependent on the carrier you are with. Some carriers take forever to put out updates. Hope this helps

If you flash a rom from another country and as long as you have stock status you can receive updates.
As for kies install the rom for your country. Kies will only support if you have a phone with firmware for your country.

yesterday android 4.2.2 malaysia version release.. i flash it with odin..
but my csc not changing.. kies not recognise the firmware.
please help me.. how to change it to malaysia csc..

csc changer from play store

So my n5100 is apparently a Trinidad and Tobago model. If I update it to another country's firmware, do I lose my ability to do OTA updates in the future?
I know for my HTC ONE, there is a way to change the model number and Cid to convert it to what you want and then get OTA updates. Is that what the changing the CSC does for Samsung? Will I be able to get OTA updates afterward s?

Same situation here and solved, after updating ur malaysia firmware by odin go settings and press software update and it should ask u to choose ur country

[Q] SM-T320 With T320XXU1ANAI

Hi guys,
I have bought yesterday a SM-T320.
For my region (Italy) the last firmware available is T320XXU1ANAI that doesn't include Kids Mode.
There is a way to update it to a newer firmware version of an another country?

I don't think there is a need to update to another country, I would just install kies 3 and let the app update the device to the latest firmware but if doesn't or you are set on using odin to flash it there is an Italy update to BN1 that should include kids mode.
