[Q] Evo running case with arm band suggestions - EVO 4G Accessories

After running on a treadmill for the first time yesterday and watching it fall down, shoot off the machine, quickly to be followed by me I have decided to buy a running case for the evo. So any suggestions of good brands to get?
I saw this link:http://www.iarmbands.com/Arm-Band-Armband-for-SPRINT-HTC-EVO-4G-LAB-001.htm on androidforums, but haven't really seen anything else

Google "armbandforevo"... There's one that's specifically made for it- I don't have one yet but it seems pretty good

Looking for a subtle solution as well...

I also need one of these. Might order one from amazon... I'll review it after I use it a few times.

Me as well
I had a very nice case for my iPod Touch but now that I only use my EVO I need a comfortable easy to use running case.
Hmmmm, I wonder when they will come out with it

Personally I just picked up some cheap'0 leather one on Ebay that was designed to fit a G1. Fits tight and hasn't fallen off my hip yet.
Well I use my android like crazy so I like the quick draw lol.

Seidio is the best for me, but no one knows if they ever make it for Vibrant.....
Yea damn cappy got one from them but idk if it will work for ours..they even hasn't the holster with inno case....+ mad +....I'll keep blowing up the cs email and might get an answer back one of these days lol

[Q] Anybody else mad about wireless charging?

Ok I called powermat and asked about wireless charging for the Dinc, they had the balls to tell me that they had no plans to make a kit for the Dinc! I know that Duracell makes the mygrid and I have heard of people using the Droid charger on the Dinc, wanted to know if anybody on here has or if anybody else feels like me..
It sucks but its not a popular enough phone for them... He was just being honest instead of giving a round about answer

I'm not sureifnot popular enough is the right phrase. As this phone was impossible to get for fivemonths its probably a little behind on accessories like this.

Well i mean the phone was massively popular for a bit then a lot of people myself included just didnt wanna wait to get the phone and i know a bunch of my friends got other droids instead.

lol and well this is the exact reason we don't have any nice accessories which is very unfortunate....but it's stupid cuz I'd absolutely love this

Easy answer: Supply and demand.
I like the idea of wireless charging but I don't like having to switch cases every time.

lol if they did make it, wouldn't you just keep that case on it? or are they made not to handle the abuse?

I'm guessing it wouldn't be exceptionally durable. I use a Case-mate Tough Case because I'm so careless.

Turn your Android phone into a handheld console!

Any qwerty phone does this. I've beaten tons of games snes/gba and been getting into some n64 games.

I haven't seen much mention of it, but the iControlPad
http://www.icontrolpad.com/
is available now. IT does everything that the one linked does, with the addition of two analog pads and a 1360mAh battery that you can charge your phone from.
Otherwise, it looks extremely similar to the linked pad.

Yes I know it would be huge, But armbands? Any recommendations?

So Im in the process of my attempt to not be a fatass. And im looking for a solution for some sort of armband that would fit the epic touch. Ive looked at a few things on amazon. But nothing that I would trust ordering since there are no real reviews. Anyone have on for there epic touch? And can recommend one?

Would be nice if my search found that thread, for some reason it didnt. thanks.
No problem, I just remembered seeing it recently.
Also I've noticed that using search through the app will always leave out results when I try using it.

For those that don't want to have to go to another thread:
Armband for E4GT that you can use a case with as well.
I was about to order this one myself.
Complete On The Go Smart Kit
I don't know about those arm band things .
I would think they get in your way of lifting .and blood flow .

I fully support this armbelt: http://www.amazon.com/Armband-Otter...1?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1330538858&sr=1-1
It will fit your E4GT with the TPU case on and it doesn't wiggle. If you WANT it to wiggle, get the bigger model AB85.

but on that arm belt do you have to take out the phone everytime you want to change the song on the phone ?
Nope, you can control the phone directly inside the case. Touchscreen works fine too (I have a screen protector on as well).

Do they not make poetic atmosphere anymore?

So I got the blue HTC one and decided I wanted to get a clear case instead of using my uag case cause of how sweet the color looks...I was looking to get the poetic atmosphere case, but can't seem to find them anywhere...were they discontinued? I know there were issues of them falling apart but the one I had on my old gs4 is still going strong...or can anyone recommend another clear hard type polycarbonate case with decent protection? Thanks guys

You can get one from a seller on amazon at this link. I'm pretty sure I've gotten stuff from them before.
http://www.amazon.com/Poetic-Atmosphere-Clear-Manufacturer-Warranty/dp/B00BQ2Y3TA
Other than that link and ebay, I don't really see anything either. Shame, really, I liked those cases. Hope they revise the design and come back soon.
Yeah all I see is used one on amazon...there's on on eBay but it's going for a lot imo...poetic doesn't even have them listed on their website...maybe they had too many problems with them breaking.... Oh well gotta find another one I guess

Well there was one at that link and I don't think it was used, however it's gone now. lol. Good luck finding something new. I know its not really the same at all, but the seidio active is a great case. I just got one myself. If it's not too bulky for you (and it's really pretty thin, much thinner than any other dual layer case I've ever had), it seems to offer a good bit of protection and the kickstand is nice.
As far as clear ones go, I haven't really heard of any that are nice and clear and stay that way. Unfortunately, most of them seem to be either not actually clear, yellow with age, or both.
I wouldn't recommend them anyways, mine felt apart within less than a month. I then returned it and whilst I was waiting for my refund my phone fell out my pocket and the screen cracked :crying:
I ordered the KaysCase clear case for my blue HTC One from Amazon. It's inexpensive and has good reviews.

Workmanship on The Atmosphere was awful, they pretended to have a quality product like so many other companies. I would paid more for one that actually was well made.
poetic atmosphere case for HTC one
Hi
I checked it on amazon but its not available...but the reviews over there are quite in the favor of this atmosphere case...so just wondering to go for it
I am using this. Griffin back less case (bumper)

Thanks for the suggestion guys.... I don't really want to bumper case only because I'm afraid the blue the scratch easily like the black one does...I'll just keep looking...

I am sad to see it isn't available any more, I am not surprised though given the amount of issues they had with it. My Atmosphere (white) lasted about a month and then started peeling - it sounds like I had one that lasted longer than most too. It also started getting discolored very quickly and couldn't be cleaned. The other colors probably didn't have that problem.
A couple alternative hybrid hard/soft cases that have good reviews here are the Supcase and the Basal - they both have clear backs but the sides are solid. White, black and some other colors are available.
My Supcase is starting to show a little dirt that I haven't been able to clean off completely, but i have been using it for almost 3 months and it is white, so not too much of a problem for me since I expected some discoloration. I liked the frosted back of the Atmosphere because it didn't show scratches like the clear/smooth back of my Supcase, but at least the Supcase hasn't failed.
Yeah I was gunna try the supcase and see how that worked for me...sounds like my best option atm...now what screen protector lol...

Well I just got official word that they didn't indeed discontinue the atmosphere case for the HTC One due to manufacturing issues

Supcase scratched as hell. Believe me u will end getting the griffin bumper. The phone is so pretty to be hidden in ugly bulky case.

Wtf they stopped making them? I loved the case and mine has held up well so far.
What about the 3 year warranty though ? They still going to honor it?

My guess is that they have a stock of them available for returns, when that runs out they will probably offer a refund or a different case. It really was a great looking case, but way too many problems.
I messaged poetic on their site and they say it's discontinued. I'm sure it's workmanship. I had one before and sold the phone and recently purchased the phone again. Even with the small flaws it was a great case and one of the best looking ones for the HTC one.
Considering their warranty and the defect rate of the case (namely the rubber separating from the poly), it's probably makes financial sense to discontinue it. I'm on my second one; great while it lasts, though.

How difficult was the warranty process? What specifically did they want as proof of purchase. I ask because of buying through Amazon
