well it looks like i installed a theme that is not compatible with my rom, and my phone did not turn on to the OS again, so i downloaded a theme that is compatible with my rom, install it on DHD, and my phone comes to live again, that's the good thing.
the question is, do i need to uninstall the old incompatibe theme, or simply it was removed by being replaced with the new one?
is there a ay to go back to my stock sense theme, sine i dont like the new theme?

well, i'm running now the revolution DHD theme, but want to change it, back to stock or something decent with no lots of extra colors and change, i searched the forum and found the sticky themes thread, a theme named "MattedBlues-v1.6-Sense3.70-Jan20" download it, install it, but after that nothing did changed in the theme appearance, revolution DHD still there and no matted blues look, it didnt take effect, any solution, did i make anything wrong? any way to revert to stock theme?
any suggestion or help plz?

to update my problem, i 'm still on the DHD revolution theme, i realized that my camera, gps and wifi are not working, the camera make a FC always, videos are not playing.
i dont like the notification status, phone dialier and all icons.
please help me finding a theme that will give me back the original stock sense look, that comes with my DHD including:
-notification staus icons
-phone dialer canvas
-stock gray menus
-same connectivity drop down menu
...
i spent all the day searching with no luck, please any help in this issue is much appreciated.

Im wondering If there is that "Blue ICS Theme" look out for the (Oxygen 2.3.2 Bravo Rom)?I did have a theme running but the green was still on there and the dial pad was normal.
Its running AD something launcher.Ive tried the android market and cant find anything. Ive also tryed "Theme Chooser" but doesnt work.
I just wanted to say thanks to all the developers of custom roms and I will be donating to Oxygen.They helped me on my HTC solve my small storage and apps go to my sd card.I have so much more room.

I am confused with all those fancy looking ROMs.
You are good in coding, building, cooking but still not sure about themeing...
I have an idea and I wish to ask you to try to make ROMs that way:
1. cook the ROMs in classic look and easy to see and understand (white text on black menu or something) just the basic theming and give an option to update for another look...
2. when you are building sense ROM please make it the way sense look like not with some orange icons or percents with transparent menu upon a light wallpaper where you cant see anything without hardening you eyes.
3. building Cyan is the same, make it stock and give an option to theme it.
4. do not put some extra software in the ROMs, that way you just got where everybody wanna go away from (HTC way) We all want to remove the bloatware with the stock ROMs but stock ROMs instead of giving us basic option to install what we need give us more and diferent other bloatware

anyway, I am posting this because I am looking on all those Sense3.5 threads. I don't have enough time ATM to build one miself the way I like it to be, so I am searching for stock stable kernel, basic clasic sense3.5 look with sense3.5 functionality, stock icons and stock boot animation and etc. but I couldn't find such. every sense 3.5 rom is moded somehow, why you are using sense3.5 in the ROMs name when you use just few setings from sens and everything else is moded?!?
I do not want to be rude at all!!! you all have my possitive feelings, thats a wonderful forum with more wonderful members...just...please listen to me and when you build please add an option for the members to choose whether to update through a custom recovery the look of the ROM, give us basic look sense, ADW or MIUI ROMs!

Most basic 3.5 for WFS, use UOT Kitchen to change the battery to stock, its clearier than clear

It would be nice to have one with the new european RUU but I think that's a lot of work...
My former 4.2.2 rom allowed the display of chopperthedog's mashup theme's larger pngs for status bar icons. I am now using an AOKP rom, and would like to use them again. I don't know if it is possible to hijack them from 1 rom into another, or where to find a version of his theme, nor how to install it. I have always used stock or no themes. I found his theme in a zip and flashed it, but my gnex wouldn't boot with it. Can anyone point me in the right direction please. Help a noob.
Ooops, just saw your pm on rootz. Those theme zips were from the ics days which is why you went into a bootloop. I really haven't done anything with themeing in about 6 months (I'm still on 4.1.2). Back in october I putzed around with making some theme engine apk's for myself. I think the theme you're thinking of is the old geezer mash up that I helped zaphodbeeble with. I did pass along an apk for the geezer mashup that zaphodbeeble did post on rootz. But I left it off at 4.1.2 and it does work on 4.2.2 but the toggles and a couple other newer 4.2.2 elements are not themed.
*edit* ahhhhhh you must have been running sourcery (I had heard some of my icons ended up in that rom). I'll pm you a link to the mashup apk.

Hi, i am looking for at way to replace the standard HTC status bar with an AOSP one, is this possible, if so how?
I'm running Viper X 3.7.0 on my One X, I also tried some apps on the market, but i couldn't really get them to work.
Go into the venom hub and download the aosp statusbar mod. Install it and go to the venom tweaks and set the icons in the statusbar tab
Will this mod the whole notification area or just the icons? I'm trying to get as close to the AOSP look as possible without moving to an AOSP rom, so if you know any mods or themes that will bring me closer to that, it will be much appreciated
You can keep an eye on this one, its not up to date atm but the question about an update is asked already ....

Yes, it only removes the sense launcher unfortunately. I think it is a matter of editing the framwork. But then again, i don't know much about this.
Check in that thread in the OP for the geenyous aosp thread. I think its going to be updated to the latest viper (hope so) its one of the best out there once its updated

Trust me I wouldn't have made this thread if I hadn't tried for like hours here.
Something is wrong with either my methods or the rom guys.
Using slick rom which is ultrabloated.
There are simple add-ons for camera and all other stuff if one needs(g3 stock based rom)
I am not able to use g3 launcher on rom and dt2s is must for me (not notification bar but whole home screen).
I tried flashing the zip by ultralite rom guy and many other ways(simple to tough ones) but can't seem to make that launcher work on rom which is driving me crazy. I think dev has deleted a lil more than what he should have(I am no one to judge)
If someone can help me here, thank you.
