hey man i got your pm, theres a number of things that can make the rom bootloop, anyways the port im doing for the g2, is based on the evo port heres the link http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=870944 you might have better luck with that one. i also tried to port it from the liquidM dump but more problems arised than the one i already had. so i decided to go with the evo port.

Ok I should know this by now, but how do you get a sense rom to save New contacts to google contacts like when syncing google after flashing?...minds never do...works on aosp just not sense based roms for me....lol please excuse my ignorance

LeeDroid HD seems like an awesome ROM, so I'm just curious why. Nothing against RoyalMint at all, I'm just wondering why one is preferable over another.

The look for the most part. Some minor differences. Mint has more option - stock locksreen/Trackpad wake.
Otherwise they're the same for the most part.

just make sure you have your contacts set to sync in google in accounts and sync settings.
Superuser Permissions
So i installed this Rom and it looks and runs nice but i ran into an issue with Superuser Permissions. It does not seem to work. when i try to access the Superuser app, it just shows a white screen. any app that i try to run that requires superuser permissions does not prompt me to allow or deny the application. has anyone else had this issue yet?

i have tried that but it will not allow me to remove it from manage applications screen, i can force close the program and clear the cache on it but it too did not work.
I need video recording. I had gingerbread sense already but took it off because i use y video recording feature a lot

I have one question for you, though. When you go through the initial setup of the phone and are presented with the list of languages to choose from, is there one called "English (United States)?" I've tried some of the other Gingerbread Sense based ROMs, and I believe they all don't offer that. Closest one is the "English (United Kingdom)" one.

Would the application "Font Changer" work with this? I know it works well for AOSP based ROMs.
Hey all. Been a while since my last release of anything, which was sense based, but I really wanted to start learning android and have a better perspective of it. I decided to dig a bit more into compiling android. Started horsing around with github and learned to start compiling my own builds from aosp wih the help from cmsrc, evervolv, and a few others githubs. Since the release of gingerbread to aosp, i moved away from sense. There are things that i do miss about sense, but the usability of the phone without it is just unmatched imho. Many people use or have used cyanogenmod. IMHO is a great open source project that has some of the best devs out there. I have always been more into the 'vanilla' look opposed to the themed and aftermarket. Recently i have been compiling gingerbread for the evo and mt4g and have had nothing but the best reviews. Basically the reason why i am here. Wondering if there was any interest in a few of my builds. Main reason from moving away from CM6/7 (cyanogenmod), ADW launcher and the extra added bloat(sorry) and themes. Battery life will always be one of my main concerns. Everything should work!
1.0 build is based off 2.3.3. (Thanks cm team) and cm kernel 2.6.32.28 (thanks cm team).

on my g1 I used their rom called.. I forgot lol. but it was the fastest on the g1 forums. made my g1 fly like it had a 1ghz processor in it

yes you are using H+ or 3g. the h+ or 4g symbol have not been impemented yet. try a speed test to see where you are at on speed.

How to install:

- Reboot into Recovery
- FULL WIPE (factory reset,delvik,system) [i had issues when i didn't full wipe]
- Install Feb's creamed glacier beta 3.0
- Install TDJ's v13 beta ICS kernal
- Install this zip
- Reboot
- On first boot select "Setup Wizard"
Note: If the APNs don't load go into the APN settings, hit the menu button, and select "restore defaults"

If you want to fix it. You can:
1. grab the apk from the beta 4 zip
2. push it to /system/app
3. change the perms to match the others.
4. reboot.

Def wrong forum. The reason it works for cm7 is because cyanogen is a whole different level. It a good idea just the wrong place for it.
