I installed Savaged Zen v0.0.1 on the Dinc two days ago, and it ran fine. However, when I went to charge it last night (at around 11%), I awoke to it at 7%.
Kernel: SavagedZen-0.0.1-INC-CFS-HAVS-GB-signed.zip
I'll do some digging later when I get some time - but I am running CM7 RC1.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Is the phone still not charging? Have you tried the stock kernel with CM7 and does that not charge either?
i had this same issue. phone died during the day, got home plugged it in and checked a bit later and i was still at 0%. unplugged and my phone shut off. swapped kernels in recovery and booted up and i had 52% charge. something isnt reporting properly.
Yeah, just following up.
CM7 kernel I didn't try long enough. I ran a couple days on this kernel and it seemed to be hit or miss. 2 days ago, it charged fully after a reboot.
Yesterday, the battery was all but dead and it reported that I had 0% left (it was charging on the wall). I unplugged it and it said turning off due to dead battery. I turned it back on and it came back immediately and said it was at 44%. I then left it charging all night and again, this morning it was 44%.
I am now flashing to another kernel - I don't think this one is working out too well. I'll let you know how slayher's works.

A couple of weeks ago I noticed CM6 was taking an unusually long time to charge my battery. Over night charging consisting of 6+ AC charing only yielded 66% charge when the phone itself was in the 40ish% range when I plugged in the night before.
Night after night, nightly after nightly builds the problem persisted. Numerous battery calibrations, to the point I went to Sprint to have my battery replaced. Problem persisted with three different batteries.
At this point I thought my phone was at fault and had it replaced with a new phone. I ran the stock ROM for several days, just to make sure the battery charged correctly and consistently. On the third day, I rooted and tried CM6 once more. No custom kernels, Set CPU or additional software outside the Google Apps. After moderate use, I found myself at 15% at the end of the day.
I proceeded to begin charging my phone around 8pm. 6:00 AM the next morning, I'm ounly at 40%!!!!! WTF!!!!!!! I unplug it, 30 minutes later I'm at work with only 30%. I plug it to my USB port where it remains for three hours and I'm at 80%.
In the evening I plug it to the HTC charger and Have noticed, that without use, the battery drains quicker than the phone could be charged. I've sat and looked at it lose a few percentages while plugged in and not being used.
I is not the charger because I've tried two different ones and I'm unable to reproduce the problem with the Stock ROM.
I'm sadden by the fact that I will have to revert to another ROM or return to stock until these battery issues are sorted. It's a great ROM which I'm sure to return to again.
The Sad One
I have noticed a similar problem but only when charging from a PC usb. It works fine with the wall charger

I read somewhere someone with an issue similar to yours fixed PC USB charging with the latest HTC Sync software. Might want to give it a try. Unfortunate for me, this didn't work :-(
I am having an issue with my battery and wanted to ask if it was the norm? I had a battery problem last week and decided to flash the new radios to see if that was the case. It didn't seem to help. So I flashed Tiamat 4.0.5 SBC kernel yesterday after whiping the correct info, flashing, etc. Everything went smooth. I am running latest stable build of CM7.
I charged the phone to 100% (and about 30-40 min more) and then wiped battery stats. Drained the phone all the way until it died last night. I put on the charger before bed and let it charge all night. I woke up at 630am and it was 100%. It is now 930am (3 hours later) and I am down to 40% battery. I have not used my phone at all this morning. No texts, emails, calls, web, anything. Is this the norm? Is there something I am not doing with the kernel? I have good 4G coverage in the area, so I am not sure what the problem is.
I am attaching a screenshot of the battery usage.
Last month i rooted my phone and installed buggless beast. Since then my phone wouldn't fully charge. I bought the extender battery, same problem.
Last night i wiped it again and installed aokp. Still wont charge past 63%.
I attached a screenshot of the phone info.
I've looked at the other posts about similar issues but it hasn't worked out yet. If anyone has any other ideas I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Charge the phone to 63%, and then leave it plugged in for a few more hours just to make sure it is charged as much as possible. Use the phone until the battery hits 0% and the phone turns off. Do this 2 or 3 times if possible. If this doesn't solve the problem, go into recovery and wipe battery stats.
So I've had my phone for about 2 weeks now. It has been working flawlessly to this point. Battery life had been outstanding. This morning, however, I unplugged my fully charged phone and began playing with it for 20 minutes. It immediately went from 100% charge to 5%. I plugged it back in and it went to 100% when I checked back on it 30 min later. I thought that was weird but whatever. I then unplugged the phone and it immediately went to 77% inside of 10 minutes.
Needless to say I'm a little distressed. I've tried restarting my phone and turning it off for a while but it seems like he issue is still persisting. Has anyone else had this issue? Any solutions?

Starting about a week ago, when I charge my phone over night, it will go up to about 96% and then stop. Last night in the middle of the night I noticed that it got to 100%, but then dropped down to about 96% when I woke up this morning. This is only a recent issue, has anyone else come across this?
Running crDroid with Flash Kernel.
Maybe a little calibration is needed.
Although, imo, you should be looking for a new battery
