Pimp your "My Programs" Panel...

I thought it would cool to peep some of the mods people have made to their "my programs" panels... kinda get a feel for what is possible, and maybe inspire some different layouts
Special Thanks to Kavana, RickWyatt and NRGZ for all their hardwork and direction... these ROMs kick ass to the fullest...

how can i put my programs "bubble" in my screen?
how can I change the programs?

Like I said with Rick's new 6.1 (30) Rom you are now in the art department for the Excalibur home screens, with this ROM you can be real creative. You are correct The ROM indeed does Kick's ass............!

Little Icon in My Programs
Does anyone know how to change the small icon next to the title of each My Program app? I would ideally like to remove it instead of having a generic program icon in the title bar for each program.

I changed the system resolution to 96dpi looks REAL nice but some of the system icons look out of wack and the standard system notification icons (the white ones) don't show...I'm sure one of the coders here can fix that for us but I'm waiting for them to reply in the Higher Resolution thread.

96 Is To High For A Smartphone

96 is ok for a PDA but to high for a smartphone like the Excalibur, which should be in the 82, 83 range, you are not going to have all your Icon on the screen, and the words will get larger. The Excalibur screen is not set up for a 96. I know what you are trying to do, raise the resolution quality, but you got the wrong mobile device, the Excalibur.............!

well the PNG icons work fine, but ur right the system icons are out of wack, I just figured someone would post a dll or whatever that can fix it...i'm sure there is one or 2.

My man... the icons can be found here and the font is good ole calibri. For some reason, I have quite the affinity for this font.
Speaking of which... does anyone know how to isolate and change the font adopted for rendering by Opera. I love scriptina for my clock font, but for whatever reason the change in 240x320.cpr results in Opera being rendered in scriptina... which reads for $%^&.
edit: @pdaddy... very sharp, very sharp indeed!

There is my version of amarullzGreenBlackTheme. I changed buttons, softbar and some other stuff. In my first version I put task bar from pureblack Theme and removed some bugs.

Versions with "rounded" taskbar and "clock icon" are ONLINE. Enjoy!

I was wondering, the tsk you use in the screenshots, will it work with the HD2? also, if im using the titanium plugin is it possible that the tsk has transpartent top and bottom bars?

It will work in HD2, ONLY with 6.5.x ROMs.
About transparent top/bottom bars - I didn't try to do this. That is why I can't tell you exact answer. But only one thing that I can say - clock background is part of the taskbar(one picture file), so if you will make it transparent, you will have just clock(without any changes, like it was before).
I hope you get my point.

Could you create a clock without flip?
Because it looks quite nice but I don't like the flip

I agree flip is unnecessary. Can You tell us how to do this modification? What programs we need? For example how to change fonts in clock? It is difficult?

I use "wince cab manager" to assemble and disassemble the cab files.
to convert png file in manila... "Cfc gui"
Important: Never change the file size

Just download the cab file to your device then navigate to were its stored and install it if it says to soft reset do it, you might have to install the cab to device azwell

Where can we get more??? Or can you make black and white icons?

PERFECT... Can you teach me how you do that? I have many ideas for the Icons. in manila 2D it was easy to find the icon files in windows! but now I cant find them!!!

Try to change this registry value:
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\System\GWE\Menu\CUIHandler " to DWORD "1" and soft-reset.

hmm these made the wording go all crazy on my lockscreen, any idea why?

Hmm, interesting concept, but I don't think it plays well with the lockscreen text. The clock, notification icons, and player controls get lost in the visual noise.

Transparencies in your lockscreen "post mango" do not work very well. Unfortunate but well documented.
