Hi, im using the Rose Rom v1.7 on Excalibur S620 and i was wondering if theres a way to set separate notification icons for sms, email, and mms on the topbar, using htc home sliding panel. The notification icons are all the same letter envelope and i would like to be able to customize them.
If anyone can help it would be greatly appreciated.
Hey I am currently a huge fan of handcent and was wondering if there is a way to get the stock messaging notification icon to go through handcent... I got it kind of where the notification opens handcent instead of the stock messaging app but it still counts my messages unread... any ideas?

Sorry a bit confused as to what you're asking here.
Are you saying the stock notification message still pops up in the status bar? And youre looking to get rid of that?
Handcent has its own notification in the status bar that shows missed texts, is that what you want?
I like the gingerbread notifications uniform look, and like the stock message notification icon. I would like that icon to show, but for handcent to have that stock icon instead of its built in icons.
hm i'm not sure if thats possible or how you would go about doing that.
you could use the LP notifications for everything that way all of them are uniform.

I'm running IceColdSandwich 5.0 rom and had question regarding the messaging app. Is there a way to make the icon show the number of unread/new messages?
Now when I receive a text message I only get the status bar notification.
