I bought mine a week ago and very happy with it...Like everyone im waiting for instructions on how to root my Galaxy Y Duos.. I hope it will be easy coz its almost identical as the Galaxy Y.
did you try ginger break ?
i have a friend who have this phone and he rooted it with somekind of update.zip

Really? If so, it would be great, coz i try to search for almost a week but still cant find anything about rooting it. Just make sure its for rooting s6102 is fine, coz galaxy y looks exactly same as the s6102. Anyway, really thanks for your help.

Rooting Samsung Galaxy Y Duos S6102 !
Here are the instructions:
1)Download the file update.zip - from the attachment.
2)No unpacking, place the file in the root of the sd card.
3)Reboot ur phone in recovery mode,apply the update ..(i.e update.zip file u previously copied to the sd card)
4)Reboot and u r done..Ur phone is now rooted with superuser..\m/

Lovely, it works...Just Root my S6102 nicely.
Just encounter a minor problem while rooting it. At the beginning, it cant mount my 8G SD card in recovery mode. But finally done when i change to use a 2G card to root it.
Now after update the Superuser and delete some useless samsung stuff. It run even more smooth and more ram for you to use now.

If u want to uninstall unwanted apps, u will need to root your device and install titanium backup. Please make sure u know what you are removing are safe, or else u will be in deep trouble. Careful…

help me please galaxy y duos
i need to know to flash new rom to my gs y duos
my phone had been root and i try to change font with font changer app
i try to add font several time
then it ask to reboot
after that, i reboot it stop at the screen boot nothing happen.
i try to fix that problem and i try to flash gs y rom (not y duos) to my gs y duos
with odin 1.85 every ok then reboot
it boot with sound show blank white screen and noting happen.
that's my big problem
Though I haven't done flashing, I read a lot of threads about the potential "hazards" of it. If you are not careful enough, you really could end up bricking your phone. Anyway, I once installed Fontomizer with no problems at all. Downloaded several fonts and it worked flawlessly. Did you try to format your phone first? I think it should have been the safest way first than flashing... I hope the experts in this forum could provide you with more detailed answers.

you can root a3+ by vroot 1.7.6
but sorry this phone won't get any updates
if i were u i would try a later version of cyanogen if u can get it to download or maybe a MIUI-tho normally they can be unstable n buggy iv always kinda liked em check it out

I've been using the forum to mod my phones for a long while now, the one thing I'm stuck on is putting cwm on my samsung galaxy fame GT-s6810P
I've managed to do it on other phones
I've tried to use odin and the flash count has gone up to 5,
Just wondering if anyone can help me out on this one.

maybe you could use zhuodashi, I rooted my gt-s6792l with this.. after you must change the chinesse root app with another

2.run motochoper
3.have fun

all links i searched for were either fake or like they had an adware !
it would be of great help if you guys could help me find custom rom for the Note 3 Neo DUOS version i.e SM-N7502

Oh im quite certain thats fake. To make sure you dont get your personal info stolen or not have someone nuke your house then always prefer flashing roms only on XDA
