Looking for a good network monitor for total and current uses.
Thx
If you're on MIUI there is a monitor app built in. If you're not on MIUI.... you should be.

Have you actually tried searching for one? I just googled "network monitor android" and found a few in a matter of seconds.
Yes I have looked but their is a lot of crappy ones out their and was looking for some help from the users at this forum. The best I have tried was 3g watchdog but has no real time monitor.

MIUI has a nice one built in. On any other Rom I use elixir.
As you can see on my homescreen it gives me an actual % for my signal strength and then under that it tells me how much data I have used. Its pretty low since I just reflashed yesterday.
Thank you sir

Hi I moved to the Incredible with Verizon from a Nexus One. I cannot believe that this phone won't geo tag my pictures with Google services. That worked with no issues with my Nexus.
I'm thinking to switch back...
Any thoughts?
Cheers!

Hi thank you for your quick reply: I saw that but it works with GPS only. I think it's absurd.
How would one expect to get an accurate geolocation reading without gps enabled?

Hi well Google location did an excellent job in my nexus one.
Very accurate.
You could root and install cm6 or another vanilla rom. Should work like the nexus.

Hi I'm running sky raider 2.5.2 Once again I don't want gps on because I live in Manhattan and
Google location does a great job. With N1 GPS was off and location via Google eqs enough
to Geo tag any picture taken.

Burn? What kind of answer is that?
I guess from the responses I'm getting that geo tagging just works with GPS.
If this was already discussed somewhere else would you be so kind to reply with the discussion link?
Thanks!

Installed, went to set up profile, program force-closes every time I click "edit name." As much as I like Grindr, I think I'm going to uninstall this.
[before anyone asks, I did fix permissions and restart the phone.]

is this what i think it is?
If it doesn't force close, it just says there's an error.

Yes it is, there a problem sir? :]
I've been running this for a couple of weeks. I have the same bug in that I can't edit any of the free text to add a name, headline etc. Chat and pics seem to work ok though. I have a funny feeling that grindr are trying to censor information about this alpha as nothing seems to show up about it on twitter etc.
Does anyone know - or can anyone find out where the settings are stored for profile - are they on the phone or on the grindr server? If on the phone perhaps a config file could be hacked.
When it doesn't force close, I can't get it to even sign on to their network. I'll have to stick with scruff for now
I have a feeling settings are stored on their server, since they were working on letting you use the same profile on multiple devices.

Over the past couple of days, the app drawer on my unrooted stock Note 2 had taken to moving about randomly.
I'm not overly concerned about it, but I'm wondering if anyone else had experienced this.
Thus far, I've seen it move to the centre and the second rightmost position.
This morning, I actually watched it swap position when I unlocked my phone.
Regards,
Dave

Is everything still working correctly when it's moved?

Yes, everything still works fine. I wouldn't mind it in the centre all the time either.
Thus far, moving the other shortcuts around tends to snap the app drawer back, but it was weird this morning to see it move because I could swear it was animated (as opposed to simply just flipping position).

Dave

Thanks for the advice, but no thanks!
Battery life on the Note 2 is frankly epic, even if I leave WiFi and BT on.
I don't go chasing battery life on a device that can easily get me through the day.
