Official XOOM Keyboard on sale...

I just went to a Verizon store to get the XOOM keyboard and it was 59.99 rather than the 79.99 they advertise and the 69.99 at bestbuy and walmart...

The $79.99 is the sticker price. $59.99 is after a 25% discount. I got my keyboard from the verizon store a few days ago and it's still $79.99. I got it for the lower price because my work has a corporate discount with verizon.
The normal price is still $79.99 which is $10 more than anywhere else.

you may be right, they asked me my phone # and our account gets I think 20% off from work.... either way the keyboard is AWESOME.
I had a MAC keyboard on my gtab and had to run a script everytime to get it to connect and then it was flakey, this is awesome

$62.99 on Amazon (no tax and free 2-day shipping for prime). I don't bother with retail stores anymore unless I absolutely have to.

The standard corporate discount is 25% off on accessories which is what would make $79.99 go down to $59.99. The keyboard is pretty awesome indeed. I love the fact that I can also use it with my xperia x10 and even a pc if I wanted to. The messaging button on it doesn't do anything with the xoom as far as I know and it doesn't work quite right on the x10 either. I think that's probably because it was made mainly for the Atrix and then the Xoom.

That's pretty much what I paid when I got it from Verizon after taxes, so for anyone without a discount through them this is the best offer I've seen so far. The cheapest I've seen it go for in retail is $69.99 and you still have to pay taxes.

just got mine today. I love it. Makes typing so much faster, but now i feel like i have a laptop.

Atrix 4G Laptop Dock

i'm debating whether to get it or not. ebay has it for $170 shipped for a new one.
it looks pretty nice out of the box but i was wondering how well it worked with apps like document to go, hanging with friends, fantasy football apps, etc.
i cant really find any videos where the phones are pretty modded or customized.

The item is supposed to be about $50 (US), but is currently on their website for only $29. (The same price as just the spare s-pen.) Includes free 2-day shipping.

I don't care if it's slightly different from the international version since I don't want to have my phone without the s pen in there anyway.
This comes with the s pen and holder. I'll keep this in my bag, and keep the original pen in the phone.

Did you actually read the OP before responding with this? It's also available through amazon, expansys, and several other locations. The point of this thread is that it can be had for quite a discount via AT&T's website due to what is probably a pricing error. It was a communication to other users who are able to order from AT&T that they might want to take advantage of that price.
The thread is NOT a general thread announcing the availability of s-pen kits, not a "post links to ebay sites" thread, or anything else.
Does it REALLY make sense, in a thread titled "s-pen holder kit for 29.99 (USD) (in USA)" to post a link to a ebay reseller in korea who will sell the same kit for 41 USD plus shipping?

add me to the list as well.

Good looking out. Beggars can't be choosers but wish they had the holder kit with the white pen. Also I wonder if the low cost has anything to do with Sammy trying to push out the rest of the old pens without the grey button.

An update...
AT&T, in their usual and customary fashion, screwed up even this most simplistic of orders. Even though my order was completely processed before 3pm ET on Wed, they didn't get the package to USPS until late Thursday night. Then, instead of 2-day USPS Priority Mail, I'm getting what appears to be 5 day delivery. (I called AT&T and they basically told me "too bad")
So, when that package arrives next week sometime, it'll be refused. I've already called my credit card company to contest the charge and file a fraud complaint. (The order promised 2-day delivery and that wasn't what was given.)
In the meantime, I drove over to my local AT&T store and managed to get them to price-match the 29 USD price on the AT&T website. (Normally, it'd be 49 USD.) (I think the fact that I let the store manager play with my international note helped to get him to match the price. He had an AT&T version and was amazed at how much smoother and faster mine was compared to his. LTE isn't available in my area, so that's a non-issue.)
So, the AT&T purchased kit fits perfectly with the international Galaxy Note (IGN.) The S-Pen itself is completely identical to what came with my IGN, except that it has a gray button instead of a black button. The adapter is a bit fatter than I expected, but that's a good thing for my hands.
Now I have the best of all worlds: an s-pen with the gray button. A full size s-pen adapter, and yet another valid fraud complaint against AT&T.

Thanks, good to know that it's an identical pen. Having said that, can the pen 's tip be tuck into the pen when not in use? Like some sort of twist action, making it a truly useful actual pen? I would not want the pen holder to always leave the pen's tip out in the open out of fear that it might get scuffed, etc.
This way, I don't have to struggly removing the S-Pen on my current phone and just use this one that's purchased to take notes in class!

There does not seem to be any way for the tip to retract into the adapter. Honestly, though, I wouldn't be too concerned about it - I don't think it would leak ink.

Yes, good deal and probably a typo since ATT has the pen alone for the same price. still Expansys usa has it for a little bit more with free shipping and would trust them to send it on time and correctly than ATT who can't even price it correctly. Also I do not want to give money to any carrier.

Is it possible? i have a friend that should be int the sates on October and i want him to buy it from the AT&T store, but can he buy it without any contract or a sim card?
if not is there any other way? i don't want to buy it directly and ship it to my country cos the taxes here will make the purchase unjustified (will add more the 125$ not including the shipment).

Yes, you can buy any phone that AT&T sales in stores without a contact.....except the iPhone. Currently the off contract of the Captivate Glide is $500 though from AT&T

I bought mine from Amazon Wireless, as phone only (phone upgrade), $ 399, and then unlock with an on-line service ($ 25).

the problem wit amazonwireless for me is that i need to have a US adress, there is a service for that but the charge an arm and a leg.
plus the taxes to import the phone makes it unwise to buy it online. i need to cheack with the customs again, maybe (if buddha will premit) there wont be import taxes on this phone (VAT will probley will be but its low amount).

I live in Europe and went to US in March and a tried to buy this phone in a AT&T Store and it was not possible. Even to buy the phone without contract they require a contract plan. I did buy the phone thru ebay later. I would suggest you the same if you have access to US address.

The phone itself has cost $389,99 and international USPS Express shipping was $44,99. This was quite cheap compared to the $600 (+ shipping) on Amazonwireless back then.
Btw. If any German is interested in the taxes I had to pay: It was about 63€ (~19%)

now days the glide cost 400 dollors via amazonwireless and the shiping in the staes is free.
i think i got lucky cos i have a friend that is gona visit is family in the states sooner then expected and he agreed that i will ship this to his family house, and he will bring it to me when he come back. so i can get away from shiping and taxes via customes.

yeah ebay its the only place to buy a phone anymore, altho some pawnshops will cut good deals. seems 300 for a new or refurbished phone on ebay is the going rate & most folks dont mind shipping outa country.

I bought from Amazon Wireless, which is Amazon direct. They will sell you a locked phone without contract.
When I bought it, it used to be wrongly labled as "unlocked" I contacted them and they offered a full refund. Since I'm in the UAE I didn't want that, just an unlock code, to which they said they can't help me with that. So I ended up unlocking from AmericanUnlocker.
I prefer to buy direct, in this case it would be Amazon Wireless, that'll help with returns.

Got mine for $150 via Kijiji in K-W, Ont. No warranty, of course, no taxes either. No contract. Slipped my Treo 680 SIM, made a call, all worked, paid, left, and got on with my day. No blemish I could see on case or screen.
Apparently it was a Roger's giveaway. I suspected demo phone, but all has been well. Got 32 GB SD card (staying at 32 GB avoided any exFAT issues), case and extra usb from farmer's marked, and an extra usb adapter [USB B (?) to USB micro] from Canada Computers, and haven't looked back since. Also slapped a Palm screen protector on from my Treo stash. Doesn't fit the entire screen, but then it doesn't need to. A wee bit at the top, above the notification line is exposed, as is the Samsung logo at the bottom, and below - nothing my eyes are going to look at to be distracted by scratches. (Fingers and thumbs don't really care about minor scratches or blemishes!)
Would be good to know if there are any system or sanity checks, thought, that can be run at time of purchase, just to make sure nothing goofy is in the works.

I purchased one from SN Traders in Mississauga, ON last month for $300 (no tax if you're paying cash).
