I was able to download and install the froyo update.zip earlier this evening and have since been unable to get any calendar apps to see my calendar appointments. I've tried the Android Agenda widget, the Launcher Pro Plus Calendar widget and the built in Calendar app. They all claim to be monitoring all of my calendars (google, facebook and "my" calendar.
What can I be doing wrong?
Forgot to mention, I am using the new two factor authentication for google services, in case it matters.
DISREGARD: I went to menu/settings/applications and cleared data for my calendars and it appears to have fixed things.

I synced my google calendar successfully weeks ago. Now i added some public calendars (e.g. world cup) for google calendar. It shows me all the calendars i am using on the pc.
but when i sync it with my desire, it doesn't refresh correctly the list of the calendar i am using right now (e.g. i can't see the world cup calendar).
what can i do..?
is there a way to wipe the old entries on my mobile to do a new and full sync..?
thx for the help!
no idea..? ;(
If you look at the Calendar section in the "Flaws & Annoyances" thread at the top of the listings (it's a sticky), you'll see it's a known issue with some Google calendars.
I posted a workaround here.
Matt
thank u for ur reply.
i add the calendar in ur link and got a new calendar in google. it opens the google calendar in the browser (not the phone calendar).
but it is still the same, it doesnt show it in my calendar on my desire. it still doesnt sync the calendar list..
hmm...
I had the same - Clearing all caches and data relating to Calendars and calendar storage etc sorted it for me. Takes a while to come back though.

thanks, that worked
Just got my incredible, I don't remember if the contacts were synched at first, but right now it doesnt link to facebook (I'm logged into facebook and the widget works though)
So my contacts dont have the usual facebook display pictures on their contact cards, running 2.2 (came stock on my phone), unrevoked3 applied
I deleted some htc apps like stocks and friendstream, might I have deleted a service I needed by mistake? And if so, is anyone kind enough to host the apk for it? thanks
PS I checked the accounts to sync under settings, and facebook isn't among the list/options, only my gmail and a few other accounts are listed
Friendstream is definitely needed to have any contacts linked with corresponding Facebook info.
There is a thread somewhere that states you can delete the friendstream widget .apk, but can't delete the friendstream.apk itself or that will destroy syncing.
The native calendar and one I downloaded called Calendar seem to be in sync with each other regardless of how I set them. I set the native one to my sync with gmail calendar and the new one has a folder/calendar I created. No matter which account I select, the other calendar changes to it. I can't use them as two different calendars. Hope that was clear enough! Any thoughts?

I can't help you directly but have you tried Agenda Widget Plus? It lets you choose which calendars to use (e.g. exchange or google calendars). It's not really a calendar app but has nice widget options
Android basically collapses all calendars into a single view. Depending on the app or widget, you can select which calendars to view, as well as to which calendar a new entry should be saved. The data is kept within each calendar, so if you delete one the other calendars will stay. If you use Outlook, its very much like the overlay view.
Hope that helps clear the confusion.

I have two Google accounts on my phone right now. One is my primary gmail account that I use for everything, and the other is for school emails and everything related to academic work.
What I did this semester is I put my schedule in my school gmail account, instead of in my regular account like I had been. I'd like to know if there is a way to pick different accounts and display the two accounts on two separate widgets. I'd prefer to use the stock android widget as that has never given me issues although I realize I can always download a Calendar app and have this problem solved. However it would be nice to not have to download anything and keep the way my home screens look uniform. It would also be nice because the stock calendar widget has a native lock screen widget that looks and works really well.
Basically, is there a setting in the stock calendar widget to select just one gmail account per widget? Or should I just download a calendar widget from the Play Store and do things that way?

Has anyone found a good way to separate different calendars between different apps/widgets? My goal is to have my work (exchange) calendar shown in one agenda-like widget, but I don't want all those events cluttering up my regular personal (google) calendar. No matter what I try, all my calendars seem to enable themselves across any apps I use. For example, I have Jorte, and I would uncheck my work calendar so that it wouldn't show up. Then in a second app (tried the stock calendar, Agenda Widget, Business Calendar, Cal), I would make this calendar visible. But when I go back to Jorte, the work calendar is still unchecked but is showing up in the calendar and in widgets. Is there any app I'm missing that has this functionality, or is this just some kind of bug in experiencing?
