[Q] Today Screen Display Unread SMS

Hello all,
i've got a big problem with my new HTC Touch Pro 2.
As I'm a user of an old HTC Herald I want my Touch pro 2 to look the same old way my Herald did. So i switched of HTC Sense. Now I've got the old Windows Today Screen with calendare date, messages and display lock.
Everything is fine. But when I receive a new SMS the Message field on the today screen does not change or tell me that there is a new one. There is only a little symbol in the taskbar.
When I entered the Message field normally on my Herald there were accounts for New email account, email, sms, mms.
But on My Touch Pro 2 there is only the entry to creat a new email account. So Sms and Mms Account are gone...?!?! I think this is the problem why new sms and mms are not diplayed on the today screen.
When I want to read sms, I have to go to start -> Messages, and there are only sms.
Is there any way to change it back to the old style or something like this... I've nearly searched the whole web but haven't found a similare problem.

SMS disappeared

Hi,
first of all sorry for my english i'm french
I've got a problem this morning, when i got in my text message inbox i saw all my message disappear and only 3 text didn't disappear.
does anyone have this probleme?
a solution?
my phone isn't rooted

Only the MMS are still in the inbox all sms were deleted

[Q] HELP: Problems sending Messages

I have had no issues with my galaxy nexus until today, someone has just sent me a text message and when I tried to reply the nexus advised message not sent.
I have tried to search for the service number for messages but cant find it
I am on 3 uk but the phone is unbranded from amazon
I dont particularly want to reset all of the phone , is there anyway that I can find the settings for messages //

[Q] 2 sms at same time

I have a N7 lte (Stock Rom.. Rooted) and I have installed xposed framework along with the Nexus 7 sms mod. Every time I receive a sms message I seem to have 2 notifications? The usual hangouts one and another one which when I tap on, a pop out box shows and displays the received message with an OK button which just makes it disappear. Is there any way to stop this?? Thanx guys.

Contact Name No Longer Shows

MY Note 10+ with Android 11 (installed before I bought it) was showing the name of the contact on the off screen when I received a text or missed a call. It was nice knowing who the message was from straight up (when it matched a contact).
It has stopped doing that and now I just get a generic message notification and it does not display any contacts names anymore.
Anyone have any idea why it has changed this behavior?
I do have AODNotify installed if that has caused the change somehow?
