Depends, I got mine from Verizon for $100 but I'm not sure that's cheap. It is the cheapest legitimate 32gb card I have found.

Amazon has a SanDisk class 2 for $80 and a Kingston class 4 for $100.

If you want one for the Evo make sure you search for microSD and not SD or you can get the wrong product. The cheapest I have seen that are real valid 32gb microSDHC cards are $80 and up.

Got mine from amazon. Blueproton was the seller for $88 free shipping. Amazon, Komputerbay has it for $76.96 free shipping.

I've been hoping for a good deal this Black Friday season. I'll post it here in the accessories section if I find anything especially good.

Me too!! Hoping to luck up on one. My 16GB is constantly full and I'm having to delete or move files....it sucks. I have another 16GB and 2 8GB that are all 3 empty but I dont wanna be swapping cards all the time, so I just use the 1. Guess I should sell the other 3..

Engadget had a write up on it today also. Just put in my preorder. Have the Sandisk Class 2 32GB. I really don't have an issue with it but if it will make my phone just a little faster in any aspect, I am willing to fork over the dough.
Edit: Woot...my vendor has the card but not instock. The estimated delivery date is 1/10/2010. Cancelled order with Amazon.
Also, the $88.00 price tag from provantage below is really good. Very little over vendor cost. Probably not going to see it cheaper than that unless you are a vendor.

Edit: I ordered one from amazon and one from lexar, i obviously will get whichever of the two shows up first haha!

I got one of the Wintec 16gb Class 10 cards and after two replacements that were faulty (really slow), they made it up to me with a 32gb version that just came out. Really good so far, 14 mbps read, ~8 write. Thank goodness for perseverance.

I really hate my vendor. They pushed off the receive date to 1/24.

Wonder how this compares to the Patriot LX Series Class 10 32GB MicroSDHC performance wise.

Yup. Since I had one that failed, and they sent another that wasnt any better, they made it up to me with a 32gb. So I only ended up paying like 25 bucks. Nice.

I found that Wintec 16 GB C10 on Newegg for $29.50 which many people seem to say decent things about but I've never heard of Wintec so I'm not exactly too sure about buying one of those.

I never had any issues with the original 8gb or a 32gb class 2. They both worked fine.

Well, crap... My 32GB Wintec is in the mail right now. I hope it lasts longer than yours did.

So far, my Wintec 16GB has been working as advertised. As of right now, I would suggest it to anyone looking to upgrade their SD card.

I had to return 2 Wintec's b/c of poor performance. I Then tested a cheap Kingston and Sandisk (whch were both faster then the Wintec at most file sizes) but not where I wanted it to be. I have a a couple of high end cards for my dSLR but I didn't want to spend that much for my phone. I finally settled on Patriot LX for price performance.

If you have a Micro Center in your area you can pick up a "Micro Center Branded" MicroSD card there for dirt cheap.
I bought 2 8GB class 2 for $13.99 each and a 16GB Class 2 for $27.99
Heres the kicker. The supplier they get them from marks them as class 2 but they are Class 6.
All three cards have a write rate or 6+ MB/sec and a 13 MB/sec read. Tested on a 2 different windows machines and the SD Speed test app from the market.

Patriot is a good brand, have always had success with their products in the past, i don't have any reason to doubt this. Comes with a 5 year warranty through Fry's, which is great because in 5 years this card will be outdated anyways and we will all have something better. Great find.

I can vouch for the patriot brand and living by a frys that I get all my stuff from. Patriot brand is awesome and the performance will never let down. I have a 16GB class 10 from patriot I use now.

I am pro Patriot stuff, never had a problem with them and their SD Cards or their desktop and Laptop memory...also a fan of Ridata sd cards

Its available from Amazon for 29.99, a dollar more, but in my opinion its worth it since it has no rebate hassle. LINK

Bought mine off ebay for $64 w/ free shipping (8 days from china iirc), and it turned out to be genuine (packaging, capacity, benchmarks). Prices have since increased a bit, as you've noted.
Amazon is selling the same card for $99, if you don't want to wait.

Is class 10 really necessary? Will you notice the increased speed at all?

I doubt it, normally the sandisk are higher then any other, like the samsung class 10 shows 13meg/sec and the class 6 sandisk lists as 30meg/sec...Sure if you run a special test it might show faster, but for absolutely anything these phones can do, no I will put money nobody would ever notice

For music? Not really. May take a little longer to copy music to the card.
Photos? If you're using the rapid shot then yes.

This is exactly why I want the fastest card available. I often move GBs of music around between the phone, external hard drives, and my laptop. Hopefully a class 10 card will make it as fast as possible.

Class 10 for music?
I got absolutely zero replies at this post, but I plan to try a Class 10. I don't know what class that Sandisk is, but the pkg said it did 20MB/sec. Class 10 is 10. So I don't know what to think.

Is that 20MB read speed or write speed?
Class 10 is 10MBsec write. Read speeds are generally double of what the write speed.

Have used a variety of "class" uSD cards in various items for a while. For me, the "sweet spot" for read/write speed and data transfer integrity is Class 6. And stay with trusted known brands from reputable sources. For me that's SanDisc IMHO.
Bought a 64GB Class 6 on Amazon for my SGT7.7 for $70....dealer sent a Class 10 claiming a better deal. After I explained why I wanted to RMA for a Class 6.....they swapped me without question.
