I have also placed a widget of this site on the footer of my blog, and just like the page, the widget wont load on the browser..What is going on here..can anybody help ??
- I m using Android revolution 2.0.12

Try accessing the site from a free hotspot somewhere. If it works, then most probably the problem is with your wifi network.

My Desire has stopped working with the regular browser. I am on ATT and before the update it was working fine. Now, whenever I try to browse, it says "Access to this URL has been blocked." Funny thing is, all the applications work on the Edge and the browser works fine on WiFi.
Opera Mini also works on Edge. I dont know what to do. I want to use Flash 10.1
Called ATT and they were of NO help. Please Help!

I know...that's what I was wondering...however, opera also uses proxy...so idk...thanks for your response tho =) but i'm stil very ='(
I am no expert but usually u can try to clean all cache and history stocked on your browser.
And I would recommend you to use dolphin browser HD (free on market) because stock browser has become much slower after the 2.2 update.
But I think the problem lies within the connection settings.

Is anyone else getting this problem.
If i open the youtube app its fine, i can search, play videos ect.. everythings fine but when i hit the my account button to se the channels ive subscribed to it pops up with there is no network connection right now try again later. But there is a network, ive tried over 3g/H & wifi and i can play videos but i can access my account, keeps saying no metwork connection, ive even logged out restartee the phone logged in, used the internet on my phone to make sure its 100% getting a signal and i still get tue same problem, i can access my youtube account, the apps fine for viewing videos but it wont go into the my account
Im using my googlemail account as the sign in for youtube btw.
Anyone ideas on if its a problem with the phone or a problem on youtubes end?.
Thanks.

are you using the updated YT client with the HQ button at the side?
Yes, its only been doing this since yesterday, im still on android 2.1 with vodafone.

Hmmm... I've noticed this since this morning. HTC Desire 2.2 on O2
I'm also having trouble signing into Google Reader.
Is there some network issue to Google?
I dont want to hard rest my phone if the problems not on the uandset but with google or youtube, as they will probarly patch it in a day or two, but if im the only one getting it its probarly a corruption with the youtube app which will need a reset.
Like i said the app itself is working fine, i can search, play videos ect...
But ushally when i open the app it has a few sections, subscription updates, recomended for you, most viewed ect... well the subscription updates section isnt there, so i click menu and then my account & the page changes with my details, how many channels im subscribed to, favorites ect.. then after a few seconds it flags up with theres no network connection right now, try again later?
I even went into the m.youtube mobile site to see if there might be a problem with my account details but it logged in to the mobile site fine and loaded my subs and played fine. Its just not working via the app

So it was working fine before this? On the new client?
Because I noticed it only happened with the new client, not with the old client.
Yes, ita been working fine for months, ive never uad a problem with youtube before, ive had this version of youtube for months, i check tue channels daily and since yesterday when i try to use my account it says no network, im signed in with my @googlemail.com id not a youtube acount, but thats the way ive always used it.

The problem must have been at youtube/googles end as it seems to be working again now

I have been using my dhd as a wifi hotspot for my laptop for quite sometime, recently I got a nookcolor and I tried to connect to it as well. It showed that the wifi is connecter, but no internet.
I tried connecting to other sources, like a regular router, a nexus one, all works.
The settings are all default, including the DHCP being checked.
Anyone know why?
same problem I am with orange UK - wondering if just dont allow you to share your signal. I know in USA they have to pay their provider to use wifi hotspot. I posted on this before but nobody replied.
Well I persisted to try it out again, flipping around the authentication methods (None, WEP, WPA etc). Now this is the weird thing.
Gtalk/Gmail app on my nookcolor works perfectly fine. On browsers (stock, opera mini), nothing loads ....
which network are you with? and are you using stock rom?
I'm on a Singapore network, there's no restriction on tethering, and yes, I'm using stock rom (not rooted) on my desire hd, nookie froyo on my nookcolor.

This should help you on Orange UK [Post #32]: http://androidforums.com/desire-supp...ml#post1734672
I didn't want to make a new thread, so i thought i ask here.
Have any of you tried speedtest.net or the speedtest app?
If i do a speed test on my DHD it shows 4,5mbit download (HSDPA). But if i use HTC WIFI hotspot to share my phones internet connection, then i get only about 2mbit download on my laptop. Is that normal?

Mine worked fine when I used that ROM. Maybe try a reinstall. Also, why don't you just PM him? He's more likely to see it there than in here.
never had that problem with Warm Z but with another ROM. have you tried using Dolphin? after you install the app, download Desktop Toggles from the market. it enables desktop view for all sites, you just have to toggle the switch on.
When trying to view HTTPS website using stock browser or Chrome, the browser show blank error page. I try to view it on my desktop it works fine. This is intermittent, not sure if anyone encountered the same?
For example: https://www.witopia.net/
I can see it.
