[Q] Wireless Tether -pre 10 is out

No issues with pre 9 but I tried pre10 today;
<sorry...my account doesn't allow me to post links outside>
and it installs and runs with no issues. My laptop sees it but can't make a connection (no ip). Anyone else tried it yet? Yes I have checked and changed the usual stuff. Going back to pre 9 it all works fine.
Thoughts, trials, tribulations?

I don't think I'll bother, never had an issue with 8 or 9.

My 3G Speed

Well I couldn't believe the speeds I was getting whilst downloading from the market, i canceled my download and proceeded to test my speed with speedtest............ These are my results lol anyone have an idea why?

Because sprint sucks.

Change your PING locatioin. Go to a computer and see if you ae getting a 1750 ping.
The host is to slow.

In the screenshot it shows that I have used about 350mb using chrome.
However in the graph and the text right below it, it says I only used about 100mbs...
The same problem occurs for wifi.
But when I press a specific app, the graph shows the data accurately.
I included as many screenshots so that I can explain clearly.
Does anyone have the same issue or know a fix?
Btw, I'm using cm9 kang with trinity kernel.

I have time on my hands and would like to test untested rom's for the EVO 4G

I am willing to do testing on beta's and untested rom's so if you have one i will gladly test it at my own risk and test all functions etc.Thanks

That was a de-sensed stock rom with a few tweeks. I gave up on it when the latest ota came out.

Free WIFI tethering. Any Carrier

There was a thread about free wifi tethering and i tried using it but its not working for me. Im rooted so i was having a problem with it.
This is for rooted devices. Its been around for a while, but some people might not know about it yet. so here it is http://code.google.com/p/android-wifi-tether/

Make sure to go to settings and change device profile to generic ICS, also put a check to Routing fix.
