I'm from Hong Kong, sorry to my poor English
There is S8500ZS"K"A2 officially
It's a firmware released on January, 2011
But it's still Bada 1.0
I can flash to S8500XXJL2 manually but it doesn't support Chinese input and no IME can be found in the apps store
It's February now,WTH?

Anyone know when HTC might release WM6.5 for my TP2?

I have the Hong Kong English version of the TP2, for which WM6.5 apparently still hasn't been released. Does anyone have any idea when it might happen?
I contacted HTC and they said that they are relasing updates one by one for areas in the world. In their official statement they say that the updates will be available between october and mid november so i guess november is my best guess.
Here's the official email:
2009/10/30 08:23 Pete (Europe Support (Tech))
Thanks for your email.
Your devices is an Eastern European device, and as such, we have not yet uploaded the ROM update for your device. With the millions of phones that we sell, we have to stagger the release of the different ROMs over several days so while i understand this must be a little frustrating, I am afraid you will need to be a little partient for just a few more days.
The ROM update for your particular device should be available to you from the 11th or 12th of november. It will be available from the current download page, and the serial number will simply begin to work around that date.
best regards,
HTC Technical Support
My phone's SN# starts with ht96 that is (obviously) not supported yes.
I have found on this forum a post with ht95nll00167 SN# that works fine.
Even if HTC states, it is not for my region - it works fine (except for memory leaks of course, but this is a long story with HTC...).
I know about that SN that works. I used it also but unfortunately you still cant update because the updater wont let you. Dont worry, by mid November every EU device is going to have a wm 6.5 upgrade.
There was no issue during upgrading as I use so called GoldCard created with QMAT (http://www.revskills.de). One have to pay 20EUR but it is definitely worth of it's price.
Now HardSPL is available so you can use it instead but this way you will affect your guarantee rights while GoldCard is safe ;-)
Release will be 11.11.2009
I'm waiting too for the official rom from HTC. The customer service told me that the update will be available for my phone november 11-12.
I read some feedback tho and it looks like the HTC Touch Pro2 with WM 6.5 is really sloppy and the lag became an issue. Anyone tried it with the official rom? I'm not sure the feedback i read came from cooked roms or the official one.
I'm not yet sure if i will upgrade my phone at this point.
Also anyone knows if in WM 6.5 windows live and the messenger have been upgraded?
Thanks
Lello
I got my phone to a point where its really stable and although I've been using WM 6.5 on my previous phone since spring, i wont be upgrading anymore. I don't want to lose this stability I have now. TouchFlo does its job to hide most of the windows native screens so i'm fine.
It wont be long anyway cause when WM 7 comes out I'll probably get a new device anyway.

Release for what? EU versions, or my Hong Kong English model?
The official statement is that they will release a wm 6.5 upgrade for all devices between october and november. So i believe your version is going to be upgradeable on 11th of november.
Ooh! Cool.

My serial starts with HT96... the website says that i don't have he right version to download??
Bought for Australia phone came from Hong Kong.
Hi ! I have a similar issue to Mewsik. The HK-English page says that my phone's serial number of not applicable (It starts with HT98..). But the HK-Chinese page accepts it ! I'm worried that if I flash my ROM with what I download from this page, everything on the phone will switch to Chinese. I bought my phone from ebay. The ROM is 1.19.707.2 (51489) WWE.
Can someone tell me if it is ok to flash this phone with the ROM upgrade available on the HK-Chinese page ? If it's not, how can I download the upgrade from the HK-English page ?

Hey, Ive just gone country after country on the HTC website. HT96 serial let me download from singapore website which will be English even though item came from Hong Kong.
No such luck here. Do you have any idea what will happen if I flash using the ROM from the HK-Chinese page ? I also went country by country and that's the only page that accepts my serial number

[REF]Latest official update in your region

I thought it might be helpful with a thread that keeps track of the latest official update via Kies in different regions. This way we can see what markets Samsung prioritizes and in general I think it's a nice reference to have.
I may add that another reason I wanted to create this thread was because we in the nordic countries still haven't got any official updates via Kies.
For clarification: I am only interested in updates available via Kies firmware update. Not test mode or any Kies hack.
I need input from you, the users, to fill out my list. I will start with the one I know, Norway.
Edit: I have finally gotten some input and I will try to update and clean up the thread as best I can/have time to. Please also include if you are on the stock rom or have updated via Kies.

Is there a prize for oldest ROM? I'm certainly not waiting around when Froyo is released by Samsung for Orange to bless it with their logos and other garbage, I'll start reducing the official and increasing the fun then.

Really??
So I can just flash it with UK XEU firmware for a SM-N930F??
Yes. I originally had the United Arab Emirates firmware and went to BTU, XEU now I'm on DTM. Or if you're more comfortable with this.

I have the same phone, sm-n930fd... Which firmware is best for English speaking person? Or does it not matter since it is international? I don't really need any update since i have the latest with root and TekHD's hybrid 5.1 ROM....but I know less than you so I ask anyhow.

From my personal experience I've tried various different official stock roms from United Arab Emirates, Germany, UK, Panama, New Zealand, South Africa and Italy. I have not seen any differences in language selection apart from all of them not having English (Canada), and some of them still have the option to charge 80 percent in the second latest update!

Hi
Did you find any version which can charge upto 100%? I am using UAE version having 80% charge but recently when it was updated on 1st Nov this option was eliminated. I am looking for downgrade but unable to do that, do you know any solution?

I do but its an August firmware (N930FXXU1BPHA) that we cannot use anymore. I've tried flashing it over any September or later updated roms but always get an error on Odin. It's useless if you're on a September or later rom in other words lol. The only way to get back 100% is flash Hydra.

I think your modem software is more important to your local region. I had the original english FD version from Singapore and switched to the local F version where I currently live. And my internet speed just tripled. ?
Sent from my SM-N930F using XDA-Developers mobile app
I have the latest firmware and only rooted then flashed TedHD's hybrid 5.1 and now have 100% battery. If interested, you can go to his site and download. It made me so happy I quickly sent donation for his work and thank you note.

Update for /SM-N975F/XSA Australia

Any idea when the australia model of Note 10+ will get the Sept OneUI 2.5 update.
Could see in almost all regions its updated.
The samsung site link doc.samsungmobile.com/SM-N975F/XSA/doc.html still shows August update as the last one.
Me too, I am waiting
Still waiting also. Very disappointing
I got sick of waiting and updated to the Swiss firmware, One UI 2.5 and works fine in Aus.
Yep, me too... German, but the OXA firmware supports the XSA csc code which is Australia.
Being the arse end of the world we seem to get everything last...

General EMEA build is meant for only these 6 countries in Europe

So the EMEA build is for:
France
Germany
Ireland
Italy
Spain
UK
The other 38 countries in Europe should use the "Global" build.Google should really mention that somewhere.
The EMEA build is meant for countries/carries that officially support the Pixel devices.
Here is a list of those: https://support.google.com/store/answer/2462844?hl=en
Source: https://support.google.com/pixelphone/thread/170122099/wrong-ota-update-pixel-6?hl=en
Update:
The build you get is based on the carrier that you're currently on. So if you're currently on a carrier listed for the EMEA build (carriers in supported countries in EMEA), you get the EMEA build. Otherwise, you get the global build.
The differences between builds are under the hood carrier optimizations.
You won't break anything if you sideload the wrong build, you can always swap between builds.
If you move between countries a lot, sideload the one for the carrier you use the most.
Is there any way to check what version should I use? I've sideloaded last builds and I dont know what version shoud I have.
I've checked here my 5G availability but i dont know if that means my carrier is supported although I have 5G based on that web. Currently using Vodafone in Spain and I think I should use EMEA but Im lost af.

What I undestood from first post and other sources was that EMEA builds depends of country and carrier, meaning there could be carriers in suported countries without support. Seems like I was mistaken. TY!
