Im currently on Darky's rom 9.2 resurrection and wondering about 2 things.
First of all i would like to have the battery % under the current time on the lockscreen, the same as when its charging, but then also when its not charging
Secondly ive seen a greenish square battery icon ( not the circular one ) on some screenshots. Does anyone have a link on how to get it?

Heya fellas
just a small Q regarding a fancy clock / battery widget i guess
looking around the themes/apps section iv seen some nice wallpaper
and what really got my attention was this really simple clock where u read the time like in words and the battery percentage too. For Example (( eleven minutes to twelve AM and fully charged with the battery ))
i like to customize very minimal themes for myself that give the phone a very clean / professional look
if anyone knows what im talking about please post the name of the app / point me in the right direction and thanks

I'd like a mod for a stock JVS to get just the battery % icon and nothing else.
There are mods with this but with a bunch of things I don't want.
I read some time ago that for getting the % you have to modify some xml files in framework and add some png.
Can someone tell me exactly what this files are?
If anyone has a mod doing just that it will work too.

Please, take a look at that!
Or, if you wanted you could get super status bar from the market for free. It gives you a new status bar/notifacation bar. It doesn't do anything to your phone because it doesn't require root but its really good. And of course you can customize it so it has battery % in the battery icon.

Did you get it to work mate? I tried to cook up my own and then flash it, but when I rebooted my phone, it kept looping over the Samsung Galaxy S screen (it didn't make it to the boot animation).

It's working but there are 2 problems. Level of battery is not indicated when it's full, is not appearing 100. And when the signal is dead, in notification bar is appearing a small green square in the place of signal indicator.

i didnt modify the signal icons, they are stock, for the 100%, its like a checkbox, i use the icons Axiom Battery - Left % by reverepats

I installed it and most of the time it works well. I mean it always works well if there is a "still" screen (in a menu for example, or on the desktop with a standard wallpaper).
Yet whenever there happens to be an animation on the screen (live wallpaper, some effect in a menu or anything that moves on the screen), right after it turns off it sort of turns on again for like 1/10 second (like a flash).
Has anybody else encountered this issue and do you have any idea where it comes from ?

that is the problem that occured in all previous ICS leak. seems like it does occur in this official firmware. i think samsung would never gonna fix it. hopefully some dev will be able to solve the problem

Could anyone take this app, decompile, get the png's, and then make a flashable that makes them our actual battery indicator?
I'd be extremely grateful plus I can see this particular battery indicator becoming very popular.

I'm not real sure what you're asking here because the widget does work. Are you talking about using the circle battery for your status bar battery?

Sorry if I was unclear. Yes, that's exactly what I meant. There is also a notification version of it so it should probably be easy to port.
I'll take a look at apkmanager and try my hand at a port as it's probably just a bunch of .png's in systemui.apk.

im sure im overlooking something here, im trying to pull the circle battery icon from liquidsmooth rc9, and use it in jb sourcery 3.1lte. i cannot for the life of me find it in the original SystemUI or framework-res in liquidsmooth. i decompiled them and im digging around and was able to find all the battery icons EXCEPT the circle one. if anyone knows the one im talking about that would be awesome. its the cyan color scheme with a real smooth circular rotation when its charging. when it isnt charging it doesnt have any dashes or dots, just a solid circle and i think there was a battery percentage in the middle.
That sounds like it is the CM circle battery, which is actually done via code and not just simply images.
