[Q] Auto correction on hardware keyboard - G2 and Desire Z Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Hi everybody,
Does someone know if there is a way to have auto-correction when using the hardware keyboard (considering that I'm not on a Sense Rom)?

I think better keyboard had an experimental option like that, I believe I tried it back when I was using it.

Try swiftkey, the word prediction is awesome and it works peefectly with our keyboard

I will, I'm SlideIT addicted atm, if there was a way to change sw keyboard on the fly depending on current hw keyboard being open out not I would be quite happy!

Smartkeyboardpro has it as well. Alot better than better keyboard, anyway.

Is there a app that will make the keyboard backlight flash like the trackpad when you get a text. Sort of like a keyboard notification? If not could someone make one?

I use SwiftKey on my devices. Much better and easier to use than stock. Haven't tried any others.

MessagEase. Fastest keyboard available but u have to get used to it but once u do, it'll smoke every other keyboard available. And the offer a party addictive game to get u used to it quicker

TouchPal
For non sense rom i prefer TouchPal. It's very friendly and accurate. Of course you need a language pack. Give it a try.
For sense roms best is HTC ime.

Sense 4 keyboard

There is a sense 4 keyboard without arrow but with microphone button cause I only find the one with arrow but has a lot of problem like changin language while i'm typing also if I enabled only one language

Have you checked in Settings>Language & Input>Touch Input if there is an option to hide the arrows?

Htc wildfire keyboard ?

Htc wildfire keyboard sucks!
I wanna know what other guyz on this forum use?
I tried swiftkey 3 trial but it has that font problem,unable to view text at times especially while using Tweetcaster.
Need suggestion guyz

Anyway to use Sense Keyboard on AOSP Roms?

Hello,
I'm using sense rom right now because sense keyboard is so smart and usefull. Also I want to jump to an AOSP rom but the keyboard is really big problem for me..
Is there anyway to use sense keyboard on aosp rom?

Google htcime.apk, you should find modified HTC keyboards all over xda
