Everything working now
I have been doing this but always just looked for "Dialer" and added everything there but nothing worked haha... never thought of looking for "Phone" , Don´t know why ahha

Launcher pro or ADW text icons

I've seen a few people in the show us your homescreen thread who have text icons for the apps in their dock, I.e. sms, phone, net etc. Can anyone point me in the right direction to getting them? I have both adw and launcher pro plus so either would be good(although my preference would be for adw) thanks in advance.

Look in the Market under ( A home/ Open Home Simple theme)
Will I be able to use those icons in either launcher pro or adw? Or will I need panda or open home to use it?

You might be talking about "dreamlyfe design lpt" (try googling it).
I wish I can put up links but as a new use here, I'm not allowed, "yet".

Checkout the icons in my sig.
Nice work bro, now I have many options, lol....would you guys know how to use custom icons for launcher pro (not in the dock but everywhere else?) I really like launcher pro but adw allows you to customize all the icons/theme so that's what I'm using for now
Wow I'm really diggin the green and red sets that you uploaded, decal. Not necessarily a big fan of either colors (i'm more of a blue guy myself but that can easily be changed) but I think it's the fact that I can actually read them without squinting! lol.
Yeah if you have photo shop you can also make these. I took the launcher pro icons and opened them and made them black to go with my dark theme.

I am using these icons: http://digitalstylewars.com/?page_id=209
with Launcher Pro. Launcher Pro also lets you set custom icons. Just do the following:
1 - Menu->Add or long-press the screen to choose "Shortcuts"
2 - Choose "Applications"
3 - Choose an app.
4 - Touch the icon and choose any of the text icons you have downloaded.

App drawer question

I seen a pic of this somewhere in the development section and cant seem to find it again. I was wondering if there is a flashable file to have your app drawer scroll from the top and the bottom. you can see the apps in like a starwars type style like a the begining of the movie. I hope someone knows what I am talking about and can help. TIA
[EDIT] I have attached a picture
Looks like the 3D drawer settings in Launcher Pro

You just have to hit menu and go to preferences, then advanced settings.
from my EVO using XDA app.
You can get the same effect using ADW Launcher, and ADW Ex. My personal preference is ADW Ex, it is an amazing launcher, and it is extremely fast.

Not sure but if you could figure out what the intent is to call rosie (sense app drawer) then you could possibly create a LauncherPro shortcut to open it? Any smali gods out there know if this would be possible?

That's pretty much exactly what I am doing. I use Apex Launcher as my launcher, but I have a shortcut created by xShortcuts that launches Rosie for the photo widget. Unfortunately, I don't think you can call a specific screen - you can only call the launcher itself.

Yup that's the way it is possible but man that's pretty much time you loose by opening sense just for having these sense widgets.
And you have 2 launchers running then since sense will be only killed when you reboot again.
Dunno for what you want that sense widgets but I would look at play store and see if there is a alternative widget which maybe has even a themeable skin?!

I've been looking for a replacement widget for the HTC album widget for a couple years now and have never found anything. If anyone around here knows of one, I'd love to use it!

I used Go Launcher for a while, and it has great Messaging and Email widgets... really everything Sense has, EXCEPT the photo widget.

Well my last tip for you is launcher pro.
There has been a launcher pro which was skinned like sense. But dunno if it had that widget...
There was a Rom for the hd2 that's why I know that one.

I was thinking that, but when using the navigational bar tweak, and you press the home button in it, it switches back to the default luncher and not nova, the ROM doesn't come with a default screen manager?

Press the menu button and then Manage apps. Go to All then scroll down to Launcher and select that. Once in there go down to Clear Defaults and select that. Press the home button then you'll be prompted to choose a default launcher, choose Nova. Done. When you start with a freshly installed ROM you have a choice of the stock launcher or Nova. The stock launcher doesn't have any customization, that's what you chose

Have you all checked out ADW lately

Oh my Google!! Have you all seen ADW Launcher lately? IT IS NICE!! Oh my Google!! You can actually have the dock bar on the bottom in landscape mode!! You have no idea how long and hard I've been wanting that. That will go GREAT with my Windows setup on my Nexus 7. :good:As you can see the dock is on the side. Well ADW Launcher allows it on the bottom. I have never seen that. LoL!!
I'm so going to give them another try. The UI for the Widgets is also nice. Good bye Apex:crying:, hello ADW:good:. They're coming back from just being a Gingerbread Launcher. :highfive:
I was missing the 4D vertical App Drawer stock Android used to have. So I was lyk since I bought ADW EX I might as well go use it. I have a pretty simple home screen on my phone anyways. So I download it and see all this new stuff and I'm lyk WOAH!! Megaton High five-core!!:highfive:
I thought I reignite such an old favorite I found!! I didn't think anyone was using it since I haven't seen it in screen shot post. Only been seeing Apex, Nova. LoL!!
yea i been using it i loved adw ex
only issue with it right now is trying to change the icon
while the icon is on the homescreen but its nice
hopefully launcher pro get back in the picture
This was already being discussed...
