MOD PLEASE CLOSE THREAD.. I am not in the mood for bs drama....
Whisper is now in Beta release... v1 has been posted along with new screen shots!
So i just picked up my GS2, and decided to start a theme for Juggernaut... Looking around i really only found ports of other themes, so i thought why not start something new... So, Whisper was born...
What to expect is a nice clean theme... With the general understanding i do not create themes that have your normal look... I like to be different, so this will probably only meet the wants of those with the same sort of outside the box thinking...
I am going to start work on a less lavish... More mainstream theme as it seems thats what most want... I know my themes are very one off... And not for everyone...
Whats been done you ask?
- Accurate battery mod now fully pushed (% showing on a battery rather then romanns tweak)
- Edits made to download/volume bar xmls to blue
- Edits to lock-screen appearance...
- Massive edits to framework and systemui... MUCH more to come as i clean the theme up...
- New menu's all around...
More... Just, not on the tip of my tongue at the moment...
On and on... But really its a good basic start to things... Hence beta v1... Its much more pulled together then Whisper Alpha release
On the block to be done...
- Continue to touch all framework and systemui images/xmls
- Phone, contacts, mms, widgets... Themes...
Ooooodles of good stuff...
How to get her done...
- Download Whisper Beta v1
- Boot into CWR
- Nandroid
- Flash Whisper
- Reboot
I have also provided the image thats shown on my wallpapar... You need to play with things a little to get it lined up correctly, but as you can see it works out well...
I dunno, thats it really... More to come in the next week... Lots more i hope... PLEASE feel free to provide feedback...
Do u have plans to make this for beastmod

I haz an update already (nothing major, just some small things i saw that i didnt like)... But will hold off on posting it pending some apk themes being done...
I grabbed the desktop image do
from the IP but can't get it to line up properly. What am I missing? I thought flashing the theme would have replaced my existing wallpaper but it didn't. Other than that it looks great, thank you for your efforts.

When you go to wallpaper and select the image... crop it down and to the left... I will add it to the framework next release... and or give poeple a black status bar so they can have any wallpaper without having it look off with the current status bar

You know its always nice to see a new themer come to the forum. You kinda bashed Qasizia for doing ports and said you didnt have much to say. Well i have some things to say about your theme. Try something original instead of using uot. And your icons for your lockscreen were originally done by me. They have been around for awhile in all different colors but i did the original. So before you go claiming to be all original check your facts. But with that being said I have no hard feelings and if I can help in any way let me know.

Bashing him would have been his theme sucked... I never said that... I simply didn't have much to say about it as my themes tend to be one off and outlandish... Thats my personal preference ... I also said it was nice to see him post his own theme ... I wouldn't have said it if it wasnt true...
Nothing in my theme came. from uot.. I compile all my work by hand... everything other then the charging xml that I have had since I was a noob... and only use as a base to compile before i rewrite it for ultra smooth animations... was done by me... Not sure where you get anything uot in my theme... but I can promise you uot had nothing to do with my work... not to mention uot can't do what I did with my coloring or images... but you can go with that... be my guest...
Lets me finish by stating I went so far as to pm the hulk theme dev and offer assistance with anything he needed... I was very nice about it...
You have an issue past this, PM me

nice never seen fish like this one before^^
Mine are taken with i9000 and edited on PC but you can use HDR Camera, Picsay Pro or switch to panorama (option available on any ICS Rom) for similar results. The first one it's processed with Photomatix (3 photos combine at diffrent esposure levels -2, 0, +2 , use for this method HDR Camera), secound one have the color adjusted, some filter and motion blur applied in photoshop. Third one acdsee (you can use picsay), fourth cobined in photoshop (but you can also use windows live photo galery or switch to panorama ICS camera option).
Also has anyone manage to use Camera FV-5 and optain long time exposure (5 secound time exposure for example) in darkness?????
Sorry for my bad eanglish.
This is not mine but this photo has been taken by my friends sgs. Hope U like it

nice thx for sharing everyone!!
I HATE the stock ICS camera apk.
Almost half of the screen is waisted by the gray rectangle.
However, the HTC camera apk features full screen. And It has alot of useful features.
Is there an all that has full screen pictures while taking video and pictures THAT WORKS and has a wide range of features. I have checked the play store but there isn't any app that is as responsive as the stock camera. I have found one app that offers full screen but it's ehh.
Has anyone found a great alternative???

Looks nice. I'll try it out.
But I still wish it can have the full screen pictures and videos. I feel like I bought a bad phone every time I see dad's HTC phone camera APK turn on.
NVM!!!
It's perfect!!!
THANKS!!!

What do u mean how???
I'm using the Galaxy Nexus. i515.
If u got ICS 4.x.x then u have to HOLD LOCK and VOLUME DOWN together at the same time.
Then wait for a flash and done.
If u are below 4.x.x then this can be done and u'll need an alternative way.
Just because the viewing area is bigger on one camera doesnt mean that the pictures turn out any bigger.
For example...
Stock Camera...
Camera Zoom FX
Camera FV-5
Shot Control
BTW, can anyone guess what size the different cartridges are?

Interesting... You think you phone is crap because the image preview on the camera (just one app) doesn't take up the whole screen? You know what they stay, 'Its not the size that counts. Its the how you use it.'
Of all the camera apps i have i prefer Shot Control. It has a lot of features and is quite a bit of customization. It takes better pics than the rest of them yet has the smallest preview screen.
I think you are focusing too much on the aesthetics of the app.

Did you say almost half the screen is wasted by the grey rectangle? That looks more like 1/3 or 1/4.

Hello, I have developed an Application, that controls your screen brightness intelligently , it turns your screen brightness up, if you use your phone like the phone is in your hand and turns the brightness down if the snartphone are on a ground place like a table etc. (Sorry for my bad english)
Here are the download link:
free:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.mkaas.intelligent.free.tr
I want to release the pro at 24/06/2013
With this features:
-start the service at boot
-choose two kind of designs like dark and light
-Widget to start stop the service
-define the position where the screen brightness go dark
Please Rate my app and if you find any bugs send my a support message at gmail on google play thx

great app but you have to set more options for the screen . It would be nice to set the screen brightness at 5% 40% 70% 100% depending on the outside light conditions just like auto brightness...it would help save battery. Srry for my bad english..i hope you understand what i mean

I really like the idea of this app but on my i9100 the auto brightness does not seem to work! It would be great if it would be dark lying down and then change to auto when I pick it up so if I'm in a dark room it will stay dark but it will change from dark to bright in a light room. The manual brightness setting works well though so I'm excited to see it improve on future updates! Good work on this app!

So Ive been trying to get as close to a fully blacked out theme as possible and I think Ive finally gathered a nice setup put together from several sources(majority from jet black theme by Rixsta). Theres a few minor accents that still need to be themed and I'll work on those soon. as always make sure you have a backup just in case.
Screenshots Here:
https://www.dropbox.com/sh/bq1j0qo52y8jfj7/UXvb7_heS3
First flash this to get these apps blacked out: Phone, MyFiles, Mms, Contacts, Calendar, Calculator
http://db.tt/wL7yPBui
Then Flash this for the main theme:
http://db.tt/JrJrcOt3
For all other apps, Download Team Blackouts App in the playstore. Awesome work by them. There's also themed Google keyboards, and the onyx one looks great with this as well.
Themed Phone doesnt have call recording enabled BUT you can enable it by flashing the following options without messing up the theme:
Recording added to call menu
http://db.tt/AqiAIQNy
White Call menu button that I themed to match.
http://db.tt/z3oPu4GQ
Red Call recording button added
http://db.tt/am3vVN8g
White Call Recording button that I themed to match.

Thanks goes to jrkruse fo his work on these. His original post is here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2344674
tip: you might have to press the call recording button several times to get it working at first.
These mods include his volume boosting tweaks which over ride the ones in your system so you can flash these to go back to stock volumes, or go back to the tweaked out version provided in wicked 5.1 by default.

OP fixed. Download and reflash the first apps package. Fixed the calendar and added a script to remove the old "garbage"
also in the second zip I added the clock package, samsung keyboard, and multiwindow apps to be themed as well.
Worked like a charm! I have a question though. Any way to theme the calendar widget like the app? Everything else is beautiful, just perfect for what I want.
