when i start the game, works fine, but when i'm playing for a while, phone gets an extremly sloow and i need to close the game or restart the phone..

It's a very demanding game.
had a look at the rquirements for this game my bets on the ram getting full up quick maybe a task killer of some kind might help

i supose is there any problem with the software, this is not normal.
In the Homescreen of the game, run ok for a minute, then gets an incredible lag...

What resalution did you get? I can only find 176x208, 240x320, 320x240 and 352x416.
Gonna try a few out though and see what they look like.

Graphics look great on this but it is really slow for me, as in unplayable. I touch the screen and 5-10 secs later something happens. Could just be my setup, does anyone have this running at full speed?

I have exactly the same problem (it is only the response to touch that is slow, when the movements happen the do so at full speed)

Yep, the game menu is extremely slow. Game itself runs also little slow.
very nice graphic but very very slow I think this not a right version
for me the game is not very slow, it responds fast to touch! but not running perfect!

My understanding is that this is a final release candidate, and that it has the mini-bug (for non-Russians ) that the Russian T9 is missing. But if anyone is in the mood for experimenting...

@Aweb it's to early to say hurraa.....at the moment all is smooth but I'm testing the next hours. At the moment no problems. But it's a fresh wipe new install. I run now a game in the background and make some calls. there i have allways laggy dial menu during the call.
//Edit and no modaco NAND copy fix-only default ODIN install with wipe after it.
//Edit2: It's defintily better and smoother.But when i stress the phone with 2 games in the background and make internet browsing.it makes a little bit lags. But on the desire (without froyo) it makes much more lags if i do the same.
//Edit3 After stressing with more applications-the lag comes again-not so much like other firmware, but it makes a little bit pause when oping more apps.But at the moment this is the best firmware for the SGS.

Did you install all 3 files?
Can you comment on the GPS quality. Did you have GPS issues before, and are they any better now? Needs GPS Test to see whats going on, running Google Nav doesn't tell you anything useful.

I hope they'll finally get this lag problem fixed in future firmware revisions, sounds annoying and it's one of the reasons I haven't bought one yet.
@TravUK I has the gps issue before when i ran with copilot or navigon. the problem is definitly gone.... tested 15minutes by car.
But The Lags are all again on the phone. The Problem was only gone after flashing. I think more&more that this is really a hardware problem with the chip.

Lag caused by a hardware problem? Is that even possible when it has some of the best hardware around? Do we know the specs of the flash memory?

No, he means the lag reported, which [email protected] has fixed by moving data from /data to /dbdata . It seems like it's a slower memory chip causing the slowness.

Lol, our touch pro's cant handle these games yet.
Indeed, they probably won't ever be able to play these games. Can't really compare this old hardware to the newest Android phones.

Uninstall and then reinstall the game. It will solve the issue.
It plays pretty well too - though I am still hooked on Order & Chaos.

Err... My phone is getting very hot at 41C for playing 15 minutes only. And battery dropped 15% too.

You don't need Chainfire with the latest version. Just download from the Marketplace and it should run without any issues.

How to produce less heat on SGS2...
Downclock your CPU to 800mhz (Runs smooth, maybe loading time is slower by 1-2seconds) aswell as undervolting it. This defiantly made my phone from hot to warm this is with 70/80% screen. Although I prefer 50% if im out travelling !
heat produce and battery drops is normal , so please do not be frightened!
will rise to about 50 degree celuis and drop battery like droping water.
A plugins is not required so do not do things too much.I am using 1Ghz to play and smooth enough.
it's VERY HOT after 15 mins playing. uncomfortable.

Yeah, I got that when playing intensive games like Driver and Nova. They were only on the loading screen for me, so I guess its some error in x86

Nova 3 is the one causing most of time, specially when you put it aside and take it back.
