To solve this problem, you need to clear data for Market and Google Services Framework:
Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All -> Market -> Clear data,
Settings -> Applications -> Manage applications -> All -> Google Services Framework -> Clear data,
and then open Market ("My apps" should be empty at this point)
and install any one app from it. No side effect except need to accept Market's EULA once again detected.
Also works if you want to clean "My apps" from apps you've uninstalled.
yep its randomly just fixed itself!!!!
thanks

Hi,is anyone having issues viewing the "my apps" or "my downloads" section of Google market place?Cos I keep getting "Server error, retry or cancel to return to previous" page.I hope I'm not the only one having this problem.

Go into Settings > Applications > Manage applications > All (tabbed) > Market > Clear data
see if that will help...
Same thing here on my Desire & four other family members android phones, it doesn't happen all the time, strangely it allways happens when i do a search for certain things, eg: moto gp, very strange.
cheers guys,it seem to be ok now.
I'm also experiencing problems with the new market: Sometimes when I tap on install it only downloads the App but doesn't install it. I have to repeat the download two or three times to have the app installed correctly.
The same obviously happens with updates, especially if there is more than one App to update.
Is anyone else experiencing this? Or, even better, does anyone have a solution for this?
I'm in AuraxTSense 8.2.

Recently, if i view all my apps i downloaded in market (where is shows if i need an update or not) it acts like i have nothing installed. Instead of all the apps i have installed instead of saying "installed" it just says "free" and to download it, even though i already have them. Does anyone know how to fix this bug?

Setup is in my sig. Yesterday I was going to browse through apps so I open up the market and it says "No matching content in Android Market". If say I go under apps. The paid content area says the same thing, but the free shows up. Yesterday when it did this the free wouldnt show up and all I could see was the paid. After a reboot yesterday paid and free disappeared and all I could see was the VCast apps and now they are gone as well.
Have you tried force closing the market and clearing market data in Settings>Applications>Market?

Did and it did nothing.
What I had to do was shut down the service, clear the data from the market, and then clear the data and cache for the google service. Then reboot. It updated the market to the newest version with the new layout and all is well now.
I think it's a market issue cause it was happening to me yesterday, and I did all those steps.
I've blocked all the bloat that you possibly can but I also don't want apps updating without my permission. Is there any way to do that without root?
For Google Play apps simply go into Google Play Store settings and turn off auto-update. Same thing for Galaxy Apps: settings --> turn off auto-update.
There will still be notifications indicating updated apps are available but you can choose which and when to install them.

Never thought to look for a menu there. That's a big help- thanks.
For privacy reasons on every Samsung device I've ever had including the Note 10 I would remove Facebook and messenger accounts from the account screen everyday and would wipe the storage on the Facebook and messenger app and my user info would be cleared. Since getting the z-fold 3, when I do the above messenger still somehow shows the accounts that I have previously logged in with.
I have Samsung pass disabled and the only way to clear that information appears to be uninstalling messenger and reinstalling it. Facebook application manager is uninstalled and I answer no to the dual messenger prompts that pop up when logging in.
Does anyone know how messenger is retaining this information or what app might be doing it?
If you are for sure clearing all the data, then it must be server side
The ANDROID_ID value won't change on package uninstall/reinstall, as long as the package name and signing key are the same. Apps can rely on this value to maintain state across reinstalls

Maybe the app is still running so your account info is still in memory, or when one is cleared it copes the data to the other? Force stop both apps, then clear data?
How are you clearing the data?
If you are going into Apps -> Facebook -> storage -> Clear Data
There is a Package Manager app that somehow detects you are trying to clear its data and opens a special dialog to clear the data. I am at work and are not next to my test device but I will upload screenshots when I can.
If the force stop clear data doesn't work, then you could look at using Samsung Knox to clear the data.

Yes I'm first removing the account. Next I end the messenger task. Then I go to storage and clear the storage. Then I go to Facebook and end that task then I also clear that storage.
If it were server side, uninstalling and reinstalling the app shouldn't clear it so I don't think it's server-side. Doing the above method worked fine on my Note 10. There has to be some other samsung app on the fold 3 that is retaining that data.
You said you uninstalled the App manager, some devices have another system app called Facebook App installer. Maybe that one is present on your device?
That is my Fold 3 and Note 9

It's a pretty nasty and vicious virus that farcebook thingy!
And you reckon that Google or the keyboard don't keep track of your Facebook accounts? Usually Google retains my Facebook credentials, for fast log in.
