Hey guys, I tried looking everywhere, but I couldn't find it. I'm looking for the live wallpaper that was posted here in response to someone's thread. You could choose black on white, white on black, or either color on a background. It was just nice and big and showed the time and (i think) the date. I could have sworn it was on this forum like 2 days ago... But any ideas? Thanks!
wp clock
I'm not too sure if we're allowed to link external sites here, but search your preferred app browser for 'wp clock' Not exactly what you're talking about, but a start.
Search in the market for wp clock. There is a wp clock (paid) and wp clock light (free) in the market.

Sorry if this thread already exists, but I couldn't find it and it is a common thread in the WinMo XDA forums as well as CarPC forums and such, so I thought I would start one here.
I would like to see what apps, widgets, wallpapers, etc that people on here use, so please post screen-shots of your phone. (I captured mine using AndroidScreenCast, though I'm sure there is a better program for it then that.)

What rom are you running? Your setup is exactly the way I want my phone to look.
Scratch that... BattStatt!
So, I've managed to put together some of the pieces of your setup... but what I can't figure out is the text instead of numbers for time, date, and battery percentage.

Where are you guys getting the transparent widget modifications for eclair?
Not sure if this should be in theme's but since it is a Question figured it was best fit for Q&A.
I'm using the HTC Battery widget and want to change it from stock green to blue. I know there are other battery apps that have different colors but was wondering if this has already been done. I tried searching and couldn't find anything. If i missed something in another thread please point me there and I'll go read what I've missed. Thanks
are yo talking about the battery meter up at the top right of the screen if so then check out the theme section there are all kinds if your talking about a widget that you can put on one of your 7 screens or all of them then search the android market

I've used other apps and widgets for the battery icon. I'm not talking about the icon on the top bar but the actual widget on your screen. I like the HTC Battery widget and was just curious how hard it woul de to change or if anyone knew if it had already been done.
ill see if i can change it for yea. do you have a specific color you are looking for.
well since i do not have the phones required i cant do anything sorry. if you can get me the .apk ill see if i can try it through sdk
as well just so you know it does not work on the evo unless you got a different rom
Hopefully this is in the right place to post, but I had to share this for those that never heard of this live wallpaper.
Its easy on the battery since there's not alot moving, and overall just a nice informative wallpaper to have.
There's a free and paid version 65cents? Paid version doesn't really offer to much more than the free one, besides choosing a background and different color fonts and making the font move. But at 65cents not a bad deal I suppose.
Its called WP Clock on the market.
i just love WP Clock..
May I ask if anyone knows what is the widget that looks like the wallpaper with the clock and the tine n stuff but its a widget instead of a wallpaper.

Is this what you're looking for?
Been using this for a full month by now. It's by far the most useful/pretties widget replacing wallpaper I've yet to use.
And for its price, it's a steal.
this thing rocks... LOVE IT!!!
just bought wp clock and i must say it looks fantastic. one thing abt it though, i don't like how its a wallpaper so every homescreen's filled with the thing. really need the space on other homescreens for other stuff. if only they could make this into a widget. typoclock looks similar but i love the data connection and battery info. i tried using multi live wallpaper to have multiple wallpapers simultaneously but it doesnt support using a live wallpaper and a normal one from the gallery. so i guess im stuck, or has anyone found a solution for this yet?

the developer is really good at taking and implementing suggestions... I asked for drop shadow, but he wasn't able to figure that out, so he did the outline so I set my text to white (40% opaque) and outline to black (4pt 80% opaque) and it's almost as good as drop shadow... definitely gives enough contrast to where you can read it no matter what your background is... tell you what, I would actually like the same thing, so I will request it as well, and maybe we'll get it twice as fast =)

Hey All,
Just wanted to see if anyone had heard of or could create a theme where all the apps / widgets and such were transparent?
Any info would be appreciated and if someone could make one, I would definitely buy them a beer or 2
Thanks.
Avi
I second that!

They can make all the system apps transparent, but not 3rd party apps from the market, there are just too many to handle apps for each person.

This is right.. there is no way to make every market app transparent without doing it one by one.. but for just the basic stuff dreamsforgotten has a pretty clear theme called crystallized I think. You might wanna put in some requests for your most used apps... or they might be floating around some forums somewhere.
cd's or tapes?
There is a thread in the Android Hacking and Development forum that has a huge list of transparent apps. You can go to that forum and just do a search for transparent in the advanced search. I am running some of them now on my Epic and am liking it. It would be cool though to have all the proprietary phone screens and apps transparent too without any frills. For example, the Syndicate Frozen 1.02 (or substitute your favorite ROM here) with all the in phone stuff (non downloaded apps) transparent.
Again, if anyone could do that, it would be awesome.
Thanks.

Ahhh, well. No big deal. I won't complain.
I transparented as much as possible in a theme called froyo window. I even did the background for the system menus like in settings but realized how impractacle it was. The black background that I cleared also hid the status bar when you open apps such as camera, basically anything you opened the status bar was still there but since it was in the "background" you can't access it. If anyone wants to take that theme and play some more with it feel free. I never updated it past di18 but it wouldn't be hard to copy the framework values over to ec05. I'm not volunteering my time to it so don't take it that way lol.
I love the weather widget on the stock TouchWiz UI, but I can't seem to use it on other launchers (apex, nova) and I was wondering if theres a way to maybe pull it from files and use it or something like that. Or even if theres a very similar app. Thanks
Search the forum and you'll find about ten other threads asking for the same thing.
Download UCCW -Ultimate Custom Clock Widget, and then go to the thread in Android Themes in XDA. There's an exact match there.
