I've been wondering the same thing, Mikey. I see that a lot of people have this panel.

All you see is welcomecenter panels, customized with custom icons and text... that point to either a url such as the ones listed above, or pointed to tcpmp and a custom playlist, like mine. if you want to listen to aac+ stations.... get tcpmp and the aac plugin

And about the radio links, these are just what I had on my phone. I'd been avoiding this thread for a while because I didn't want to copy them all and re-type them out. Didn't seem like there were going to be that many responses, so I finally broke down and did it.
I'm a pretty helpless human but I still like my sig telling people to go play in traffic. I appreciate the informative radio info. I sometimes need a daily laugh so sometimes it's entertaining to read a noob thread. I think if a mod is ever elected they should create a "Noob" of the day thread. You must award where credit is due lol.

Hello all. I just received my brand spanken new Touch Pro 2 and im currently playing with it to figure it out. Now most of you vet WinMo users know generaly what you want/need to do with your phone as soon as you get it. You know the tweaks that need to be done to make it faster, and what Aps work better than the defaults. While i know that knowledge is spread all around the forum, i though it would be nice if we collect that knowledge and pool it into one thread so that new owners can go right to it, and pick out everything they want with out hunting..
To that end, now that i am a new owner, i would like to know what I should do to it first and foremost. Ive heard their is a way to tweak the camera to make it preform better (for instance), and i know theirs a way to turn off, or make a quicker way to switch on and off 3g. This is manly the kind of stuff im looking for..
Also. Ive seen a recommendation on how to charge the battery for the first time. Pretty much Anything you guys can think of that new owners should/or need to do to get their Touch Pro 2 working in Top order. I would like to know this (so i dont end up running a slower version cause i missed something..

That is a *little* more than i want to be throwing at first time WinMo users. IVe been using smart phone edition for a while so i can atleast find my way around, but given this is a new phone, and my first time using a full Winmo, i dont feel quite comfortable (yet) playing around in the registry. What im looking to collect here is "Out of the box" type of adjustments that most here would say should be made.
That other thread is good for later, but i just want to get the "ok you have your phone, now set it how it should be" mode.

Personally, I'd start with the first one, or maybe the second one since that one is on XDA- Dev. But if you use google in a different way than me and start at the back, that' s your choice.

Hello guys, I have idea about the Perfect APP and who is able to make such thing will become a Millionaire with sure.
1st wana say im not a programer and i just have the right idea.. i cannot do it by myself but i decide to write it here and maybe some of you can be interested.
Its hard really but its inovation and worth the time because will change almost everything.
Now every single day we clearly can see that more and more the peoples start using they Pocket PC to surf in the net than the regular methood so.. all costumers LOVE the direct application.. like YouTube PLayer.. like many other because they dont need to open a browser and to type there the url.. and to wait to load.. they prefer ready APPs because is alot more easyer, Faster and Smooth with one single click you are there where you wana be.
My idea is:
Single Program.. that will be conected to a web address, in the web address can have actual INFO of alost everything.. from Wheater, Finances, Cinema, News, Sport, Flight tickets and many more.. you name it..depends how hard you wana do it..
So imagine one single APP in your device.. when you run it.. directly to appear like web page all the INFOs and you just choice what you wana chek today.. also will recognize the Country AREA and will show you exactly the INFO you need.
For example if you are from UK... when the app load you will be able to see the curency GBP to all other.. the corect wheater for your city, what movies will be played in the Cinema, Events, News and all this for UK... so with app like this you will be always in touch you do not need any more.. to read newspapers, or surf in internet to read some news etc.
Application like this will be inovation and will change everything in the MOBILE bussines.

I'm all for it! Hopefully Google will put it on android at least, but it would be amazing to have it on wm too, the mobile web version at the moment isn't very good.

Now i understand why you been baned befor. i was thinking to not answering anymore but its seems that you do not UNDERSTAND anything, and again writing Sh..ts about ME without to know ME and without to atack you.
1st Im not a Begger and i do not begg anyone to do a script or any program for ME, i wrote a IDEA because i cannot do it by myself if i was able to do it i will do without to write here.

Just subscribe to the forum. Then it'll show up in your UserCP. That way you've got direct access to it. You subscribe to a foum the same way as subscribing to a thread, by toggling the Forum Tools drop box and clicking Subscribe.

Can't really go off topic in your own thread.
I'm trying to finish up the last of my work early so I can get out a celebrate. I'm still in WM. I can't seem to leave. I've got AmericanAndroid on my Leo, but Android still isn't for me. WP7 is way too limited for my liking as well. Glad I could help out again.
what are some essential things to know abuot this phone and what apps should I download for this phone? i want to get the most out of it!

First of all Welcome to XDA.. and great choice. Note 2 is amazing.
Start slow. If this is not your first android, then start with what apps you already had on your prior phone,
Go thru all the settings, some of them are very cool.
Try the motion sensor help and tutorials.
If this is your first android get used to the android world. Key is to not hurry. and you will learn and get used to things.

Hi there and welcome. To add on to what the other guys said, the best way to go is to just look through all the menus and get familiar with where the various settings and options are and what they do.
Look up some blogs or posts that go over the basics of android and customisation. For example alternative home screens like apex launcher and Nova launcher are quite popular and really great if you want to make your home screen really stand out.
Also look into alternative keyboards if you find that the stock keuboard doesn't suit you to well. Keyboards like swift key and thumb keyboard are quite popular.
And as someone else already mentioned, going through the q&a section is a good way to learn about any issues and questions others have already asked.

Just get used to it. Don't rush. I also bought this great gadget a few weeks ago. If you are an avid reader download Kindle, Kobo, Aldiko Premium, or UB Reader and enjoy thousands of books. Look which browser suits you best. Download Opera Mobile, truly great browser. Download Polaris Office from Samsung Apps or get Quickoffice Pro or Kingsoft Office from Google Play. Get app Note Everything, looks like a must have app.
