Dont know wich rom?! help, thnks

i want to flash new rom, posibly modaco or something equally good as modaco, but cant find all steps for newbie what to do.

and some updates just dont work, do i need to restore/rewrite something?!

Hi mate i was having a few problems with my t-mobile, mostly with the wifi. I found this thread and downloaded the T-Mobile UK update. Seemed to have solved a lot of the issues i was having.
It not a hacked ROM, I found the A2P2 stopped working when I installed a modaco ROM. this might not bother you but its a must for me with all the driving i do.

[Q] No Wifi/mobil internet after Defrost ROM'ing

Hey
I just ROM my Desire with Defrost Froyo...
But after ROM'ing the Wifi/mobil internet worn't work When connecting to Wifi it jumps of right after it accept the wireless router :-(
Can anybody help me?
The Wifi/mobil internet worked before ROM'ing...

The logical answer is that its the radio, just find the newest one, and install via recovery.

Just to add, make sure you flash a radio version that is compatible with Froyo (i.e 5.xx.xx.xx), and not an Eclair radio rom.

I try to use 5 diffrent radio from 32.41 an up to 32.49... try to use Aurax and DeFrost without any luck My wifi still don't work...
Anybody who can help? I am looooosing my mind

Hi Mazik83, could you please elaborate how did you manage to resolve this issue? Because I am also having the exact same problem. Whenever I flash a Senseless ROM, I am unable to turn on my WiFi. I have tried flashing radio after the ROM but no help. I would really appreciate if you could give some details on how you solved the problem.

[Q] n00b to nightly (cm7)

Few n00b questions.
Firstly, how do i flash a nightly on my phone? lets say im running ofw 2.2 SEA edition? Do i follow the same procedure as if to flash RC1... do i also need to flash gapps similarly.
Secondly, are the links on quarxs' CM7 for defy thread up-to-date? or are there newer versions of gapps and nightlies floating around somewhere
Third, i have noticed that there is an issue with network and wi-fi when i flash cm7 RC1 over the nordic sbf. when i go back to official 2.2 SEA there is no hassle at all. Since i live in India i was wondering if that was the issue. I can easily take care of the network problem using "baseband switcher for defy" but it still doesnt help the wi-fi problem.
My question is.. will using the new BOOTSEA nightly solve this problem? From the name boot"SEA" im assuming its built southeastasia specific (i may be wrong).
Fourth, ive used CM7 RC1 for a while and apart from the wifi issue i got problems with camera and video... it absolutely doesnt work, wether it be in potrait or landscape or whatever setting... the app just force closes. Any fixes for that.. ive got green lens.
please help!!! and i hope other similar questions can be added by members here so as to make this thread an FAQ for distressed users like me.

Hello guys. First of all I apologize for the bad english I speak. Try to explain my problem with the help of translation. Camera, the problem always seems custom ROMs shared forums. PrimoS I installed v3.5 and could not figure out the problem of the camera with no applications in the market. Is there a solution to this problem? Or wait for official update?

If you cant spend the time to search the thread for your answer Then Flash back to stock and Wait for the official update.

[FIXED] Exchange mail not working in Viper Rom ?

Hi,
Sorry for not posting this in Viper Rom thread, but I didn't have access to post in dev area.
I have been using Pokemon roms and was able to configure hotmail as exchange and it worked. But since I have upgraded to Viper 1.0.1, it stopped working. I have been searching the thread for Viper and found that some people have reported the same issue but I can't find a solution that works.
I have already tried flashing the exchange mail mod suggested by some but it doesn't work for me. Am I doing something wrong ?
I don't see the above issue listed as a bug so I assume a solution is in place. If somone can please guide me to that, it will be helpful.

Need some help here guys..

Just to mention if some one else comes here searching for a solution. This issue has been fixed in Viper 2.0 .
