Wow!
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
Thanks for the update, would not have known otherwise. I'm not adventurous enough though as i've got a Bell i9000m and woried about mine getting bricked again for the 4th time heh. Any bell users try this though?
I advise that only people who know can read instructions should use this, random reboots is quite annoying at times. There are also quite a lot of bugs. Can't wait for the guys to fix all the big bugs. Hopefully not to long now
guys where can i find spedmod k12n becouse harcdcore doesnt have it uploadet anymore...
use the latest spedmod it should work

inside galaxy initial package there is speedmod kernel...
speedmod-kernel-k12n-500hz.tar is included in cm7-galaxys-initial-package.zip.
it's just for the efs backup. the kernel will go away after this.

1) Thank you!
2) Ist there something special about the "n" Version, or is it just the "tested" one?

We've tested this one. But you can use any kernel which uses cwm recovery.
just a quick question guys..
am i right to say flashing this rom is like flashing any other rom on xda and if anything happens i can just use CWM or ODIN to reflash/unbrick the phone? will it like permanently brick or "destroy" my phone in any way?
Is the camera Working now?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using Tapatalk
You are right if you have any problem, just reflash a Samsung ROM in Odin.
BUT I STRONGLY RECOMMEND TO DO THAT ONLY IF YOU HAVE PERMANENT DOWNLOAD MODE.
I am a tester of this ROM for 2 weeks now and the ROM is pretty stable.
EDIT : READ ISSUES LIST.
By the way: I'm looking for a bricked i9000 to test some bootloader stuff.
Anyone here with a bricked i9000?
no market in it...
Are you BLIND ?
+ DID YOU EVER USE CYANOGEN ?
+ Read the damn post by Codewokx on CM FORUM and you will have market...

Back to my previous point, you should not use this if you cannot read.
Have anyone tested camerafun with CM7? I remember that camerafun was the only camera app that actually had colors (on preview) on CM6.1. So maybe it works om CM7 too?

This thread is for CM7 RC releases for HD2. These are unofficial RC.

These builds REQUIRE ClockworkMod Recovery 3.x. If you use ClockworkMod Recovery 2.x to flash, it will not boot.
Additionally, ClockworkMod Recovery 3.x CAN NOT BE USED to flash CM6. You will have to downgrade ClockworkMod Recovery to 2.x if you want to switch back to CM6.
INSTRUCTIONS:
- First time flashing CM 7 to your HD2 (or coming from another ROM)?
1. Unlock/root your device and install MAGLDR
2. Flash ClockworkMod Recovery 3.x
3. Do a Nandroid backup!
3. WIPE
4. Install the ROM
5. Optionally install the Google Addon
- Upgrading from earlier CM7?
1. Do a Nandroid Backup!
2. Install the ROM (your Google apps will be backed up automatically)

You can flash any Clockwork but 150mb version is recommended
Should be MAGDLR/CLK compatible

Nice..thanks!
Will try this in a jiffy!
sweet. cant wait to flash it!
thx charnsingh
edit:
any news on getting this official?
Here is the link to the cLK patch, that I did earlier
Forum Link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=12414534&postcount=1634
Scan or click the image to download:
with the following in the update zip
* boot.img
* PPP files/fixed
* 02recov to mount cache/recovery correctly to get ROM Manager working
After flashing the ROM, you need to flash the file in the attached file in the above post, to get it to work with cLK. This is with with charans kernel, and not any other
Can anyone else confirm this doesn't work out the box for CLK. I had to install tytung_r8 to get this to boot.
ubuntu, have a look @ post 4
this doesn't work out of the box with cLK, nope.

When I asked it wasn't there.
nice work Charansingh. Thanks for all your work- amazing you have been able to do all this without a hd2 yourself.
I look forward to trying it out tomorrow- too late here now
I just dont get the dont post any bugs part... in the other theme I felt urged to do so. I am sure there is a reason for this, - should we stick to the older thread for bug reports??? Anyway, as usual thank you for the great hard work, trying it now
He's saying not to post bugs in issue trackers because we're not official CM7, this forum is not an issue tracker.
Thanks a lot Charnsingh!

Reserved for future use.
CPU Settings in the Performance menu not working, WiFi still errors. Apart from that, it seems to work pretty well, though I suspect the ambient light sensor isn't working too well either, it seems overly bright.

WoW! If it's as good as the kernel (that I bet it is) I would never consider installing another rom.
Downloaded and installing now!

Thank you for you work!
Hey....

you should add more change log into:
Based on FXP150 Release
Integrated Aroma Installer
Customize Kernel, Fonts , boot animations& GPS during installation
Optional installation of Google Apps
Many tweaks such as battery tweaks, smoothness tweaks
Very good job, thank you.
good stuff, installing now, took me 4 - 5 tries
Is this rom overclocked by default? It's because I don't want an overclocked cpu
Downloading, will report any bug, if found.
Im so happy seen that Xperia S forum is growing more

Boot to recovery, flash the zip, there is option to wipe during installation
Wipe cache first when coming from other ROM. I was stuck on the installer but whiping cache solved it for me.
Sometimes the Next button didn't work during installation but changing the choice option and back fixed it.
Is scrolling in Facebook smooth? And is gaming performance good?
I am desperate to move to CM10 from my Stock 4.04. But I would be grateful if you could address the following concerns for me -
1) Can the brightness be set to the default stock brightness using this app - https://play.google.com/store/apps/...hatcyl.android.Disable_Auto_Brightness&rdot=1 , I read that this app can bring it back to the stock level. Can you confirm?
2) IS there any 3rd party app that comes even close to the default Cybershot app in terms of photo quality? I really don't want to lose this amazing camera once I am on CM10.
3) Do most music players work on this ROM?
Thank you in advance for replying.
Well done, mate! So far so good.
I think it will be better if you keep the default font of SXS as an option.
And is this rom going to get an update every week (cause the FXP rom is updated every week)?
