REQUEST Hero Theme port Stock MT3G?

Is there anyone willing or able to port the Hero theme to the stock MT3G ROM?

stock as in, non-rooted? i dont think it's possible to apply themes to non-rooted phones, so porting wouldnt help. but if u are rooted, you can just flash any of the themes without having to port them.

I'm talking about the stock rom that has been slightly modified for root. There are now a couple of them floating around. Only modified boot.img for root and added the file (forgot name) for wifi tether. Thus far, it is the fastest rom for the MT3G but I hate the stock look.
Also it uses odex files, so most themes will not work.

i would like to add my request as well. i have the slightly modded stock (adds root and wifi tethering). thanks!

16gb for hero roms?
does anyone have an idea what would be a good partition set up for a 16gb sdcard for the hero rom?

also it is a class 6 if that makes any difference....

Im running the same rom i think its artizans rom, slightly modified with wifi tether and root (runs the fastest boots up faster then the other stock tmo rooted one) i just want some themes??

I have recently flashed the blueginger rom on my rooted defy and come to find out that live wallpapers no longer work anyone have a workaround or a way to restore my livewallpapers??

Also my contacts application is missing!! Cant add new contacts and cant reboot back to gactory rom because I didnt make a back up

Post your question in the blueginger thread instead of as a new topic. Someone who uses it might be able to help you. Wish I had a more answer for you.

My guess is that the stock apps for this is deleted here. Get the deodexed files for this romversion and I think you'll get everything working as you want.

Where to find Sense 3.0 stocks app and widget?

I just flashed the B.O.S. Kingdom Port V3, since it's much more stable on my phone then Virus's port. However, the HTC Sense 3.0 stocks app and widget was removed in the B.O.S. version, and I would like to get it back. I've searched for an .apk with no luck, anybody have it? Thanks...

i know is isn't really what your looking for but have you tried google to find it i found a link but not sure if its that one your looking for just google sense 3.0 stock .apk and you should find it. Hope that helps a little bit
EDIT: Sorry just downloaded the file and tried it and its the orginal stock app.
but you can also grab the .zip file that your rom is in and unyaffs the system.img inside well at least thats what i have been told i have not tried it yet tho.

Have you tried downloading a rom that does have those widgets, extracting them and placing them in the same location on your rom?
It probably wouldn't work, but might be worth a shot.

Im looking for the same app+widget and ive searched everywhere! The Bloomberg widget is alright for now but I would really like to have that widget on my Virus kingdom rom 3.0 If anyone knows or finds it please let us know

Currently I am using Virus' 08.25.11 Kingdom ROM and wanted to know if it was possible to use the extracted HTC Runnymeade DIALER APK.
To be clear, I am well familiar with using ADB to push system files---however I'm just curious if this will work since its SENSE 3.5 as opposed SENSE 3.0. I'm wondering if the Dialer is dependent upon anything else in system files? At this time I am not ready to make the leap of flashing a Runnymeade ROM---but I do like the functionality of the Dialer as opsed to 3.0's version.
any help and/or confirmation of whether this will work (hypothetically) would be greatly appreciated

No life wallpaper in custom Rom?

Hi!
I installed KitKat 4.4 (KitKANG v0.11) on my HTC Desire. How to use a life wallpaper? I downloaded a few, but when I try to use one via settings, nothing happens. I searched the forum and found a guide ([GUIDE] How to make live wallpapers to work on custom roms) to LiveWallpapersPicker.apk, which I followed. But it still does not work..
Does that custom rom not support life wallpapers at all?
