That screenshot is from an older build of Windows Phone 7. In the release build (and more recent pre-release builds), the color of the Xbox Live tile is green and there is no way to change that.

hi friends i just purchased HOX 10 days back and noticed that when i set a live wallpaper it only shows up on the home screen and not in the menu's background. The menu is the standard black layout. whereas my friend has got an xperia s and the live wallpaper shows up in the menu's background. Is there anyway this can be changed since the menu looks very dull with the default black theme!!! p.s. phone is unrooted
You´re talking about the AppDrawer (which appears when u click on the centered icon in navigation bar on bottom of the homescreen)?
Then afaik it´s only possible with root and customROM, e.g. ViperX.
Maybe it would be possible without unlock/root with another Launcher from PlayStore, but i dont know which Launcher supports this.

thank you, yes thats what i was looking for, you have answered my question. you are right, if i use go launcher from app store with some customized themes the background changes. BTW do you have a you tube tutorial for your ROM. i am new to android since this is my 1st device and a complete noob

I'm sharing these applications because I find them really beautiful. First install Win 8 launcher and then install 8.1. Then you have to apply the 8.1 theme through the Theme tile which has a T-shirt icon.
Kindly please give feedback on this.
I want parallax and option to change background of tiles just like start theme in wp 8.1. What i don't really want is regular transparent tiles just like the other competitor. Here is the example of what my suggestion looks like:

You suggestion in not showing on IE. Do you mean like when multiple tiles are showing a single picture just like in pieces? If that is so I'm afraid you can't do that with conventional methods.

This is definitely the nicest Win 8 launcher I've seen yet.. AWESOME JOB!!
What are the chances of you sharing the source code? Would love to help out and add in some features to it, I'll probably try and decompile it and see if I can hack in some of it for now though but these are some things that would make it perfect:
1) support for more grid sizes like 5 rows instead of 4 in portrait mode
2) better landscape mode for apps, different grid size for apps (6 across 4 down)
3) better landscape for start mode (right now in landscape mode the top icon ends up filling the whole screen at once instead of keeping the tiles the same size and filling them in accordingly)
4) better support for 3rd party SMS apps (it won't let me change that at all for badge count)
5) support badge icons on other apps as well
6) make status bar when scrolled to the top of start screen stay color of the top tiles instead of default to the black (so it's like it is when its scrolled down but always)

Any updates on this application? I really love my 1520, and now I have a Note 4 and I miss the UI and live tiles of Windows Phone.

Gr8 nut you should a custom theme engine.
My LG Watch W7 seems to have the old style of android wear notifications. The one that is gray and white where one notification takes up the entire screen. I saw videos of this watch having the latest Wear OS style Notifications, where they are condensed and have accented colors, fitting 3+ notifications on one screen.
For those who have the watch, does your notification UI look like the 1 per notification, gray and white style? Or does it look like the accented colors, 3+ notifications on one screen style?
I called and tweeted LG and sent it for repairs... they said it was fixed. I received the watch and updated it. Same issue.

Never found a solution, even AFTER sending it to the repair center. I sold my W7 and moved onto the Galaxy Watch.

I recently switched to Lineage 19.1 (from 17.1). Unfortunately several legacy apps (designed for older Android versions) have colored borders now (see attached Screenshot). The color is one of the computed colors depending on the selected wallpaper. It is really annoying especially for games in landscape mode, etc...
Any chance to make these borders at least *black* again ?
(I already tried NavbarApps, LWP+,... - it works for the navigation bar, but the colored borders resist)

...during the last hours I found out that the unwanted borders have the (Monet-) color "N2-900" (system_neutral2_900). Any ideas how to change this palette entry ?

I'm a happy owner of a Xiaomi Note 11 phone and a very unhappy user of the latest Android 13 based LOS20, due to the impossible color scheme introduced in Android 12.
I'm basically using the dark theme and I have a really hard time reading the usual (system font) text, which is small and has a really bad contrast being by default grey-blueish. I found no (documented) way to change that system font color and LOS20 has a series of basic colors (one dumber than the other) in the Wallpaper & Style settings, none of which having a white default color.
I enabled high contrast in the Display settings, the system font got really white, but if it gets displayed over a non-black background, then a stupid halo like shadow is displayed around it making the reading again very difficult.
Here I found more complaints about Google's UI colors choice since Android 12:

I'm wondering why the LOS devs didn't correct this UI design issue, since there are a lot of voices (plenty of links on goggle search) complaining about this poor UI/color design choice by Google since Android 12.
I'd be very happy if some of you more knowledgeable could point me to what file to edit/hack (phone is rooted) in order to set the system font on white.
