its in the gingervillian roms so you could download the .zip of the rom, extract the apk of torch, and side load it.

Try using UOT Kitchen http://uot.dakra.lt/ just remember to do a nandroid first.
I think it should work on sense based roms. Its a cool tool you can theme your phohe the way you want to

Go to this forum, all the skins here work on virtuous, there are a lot. Just download it and use Astro (or you favorite file manager) to install the apk. Thats it!
Ah hell yeah thanks for the link

This is from the stock rom (HTC Version):

This is from CM7:

Don't forget, you may have to reboot after you drop these in system/app for them to show up in the app drawer.
Thank you so much I really appreciate it.

Is there a way to get the second led for the tourch app going since it only uses one
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA Premium App
yeah. check the high brightness option
I'm on the miui ROM the app doesn't have a setting option
Sent from my Incredible 2 using XDA Premium App
I definitely really recommend the CM7 Torch APK. It's ridiculously bright. Google it.
Coming from the original dinc I can say even the torch from cm7 isn't as bright on the inc 2. Btw if you want the torch app on miui first extract the torch apk from the cm7 zip. Then uninstall the miui one with titanium. Then reboot, and install the apk and your should be good to go.

Maybe you haven't noticed, but the stock camera.apk that comes with the Epic Touch is broken. You are given the option to create shortcuts within the camera app itself. These shortcut appear on the left side of the screen and give you access to features like, effects or resolution ect.
On the stock camera.apk, you can set up the shortcuts without any problems, however, these shortcuts son't survive a reboot of the phone. In fact, these preferences don't even survive switching back and forth between the camera and video camera.
This drives me crazy because I use my camera all the time for my blog and I hate having to set it up every time I launch the camera. So I decided to try and pull the camera.apk from the international Galaxy S 2. Low and behold it worked, perfectly.
Now, my preferences will even survive a reboot. This doesn't address the 1080p recording issue of cropping but I happy that I don't have to set up my camera settings, every time I use the camera.
This camera.apk is silenced, meaning that there is no "focus" beep.
I did theme the icon to match my ROM but that's it.
Just flash with CW and this will replace the current camera.apk. Be sure to back up your current version in case you desire to go back.
Enjoy...

If you set up shortcut and then reboot your phone, what happens? The shortcuts are removed and you have place them again. They are supposed to stick.
This camera. apk addresses that isses

Does this one also use vol button to take pic? Like the starburst one...

ics?
hi i was wondering if you could get this to work on ics like ff18 or something because yours is the only one that has the save as flipped image option on it which i really need but it doesn't work on ics .
My camera is working fine, switched between video and camera. then rebooted. The edits I made stayed just fine.
