[Q] LiveView refuses to stay on - General Accessories

My two day old LiveView just refuses to stay on now. It worked relatively ok for a day with the usual random disconnects but and now, everytime I turn it on it goes into pairing mode and switches off 5 or so seconds later (shows the SE logo and switches itself off).
The only way I can get it to remain on is by holding the top right button. It stays on but as soon as I let it go, bam, it switches off again. The battery is full, I have run the update (had to keep the button held down for that too!), tried to hold the power button for 8 seconds to reset it and basically done everything I can think of to make it work.
Anyone have ideas?
UPDATE - This even happens when I plug it into the charger. It turns on, LED blinks red/green, turns off after 5 seconds and the LED doesnt stay on solid red (charging).

[Q] captivate glide keeps turning on by itself

my phone was working fine until this morning it kept restarting over and over by itself. Normally it goes back to normal when I take out the battery and put it back in and restart the phone but when I would do that it would start to boot up as soon as I put the battery back in before I even pressed the power button. when I left it alone for a while it would stay on but the screen would turn itself on and if it was on to long the phone would turn itself off. when i managed to switch the screen to turn off after 10 sec the phone would stay on but still turn the screen off and on. Then I plugged it into my laptop and scaned my phone and found nothing. After that my phone was working fine and didn't shut itself off. I am able to use it like normal but the screen still continues to turn off and on by itself every couple of seconds. Can someone please tell me if there is a way to fix this?!!!

S 3 Start-Up Problem

Hello,
I am having an issue with my S 3. It is not booting up as it should. The model is SGH-1747M.
I have tried the following and have had the following results:
1) The phone is non-responsive when attempting to power it on with the power button.
2) If I remove the battery, with the phone not plugged in, and then put the battery back in, the phone begins to power on by itself. It vibrates once and then loads to the Samsung screen and then goes off.
3) If I plug the phone in without the battery, the phone vibrates once and the red charging light comes on but then goes off after a couple seconds.
4) If I plug the phone in without the battery, and then insert the battery as soon as the red light comes on, the charging screen comes on but then the phone goes off after a couple seconds.
5) If I put the battery in with the phone unplugged and hold Volume Down, Power and the Home Button, the phone boots to the screen where you can push up on volume to flash new firmware. If I stay on this screen without pressing anything, the phone turns off after a couple seconds. If I push up on the power button, it goes to the screen with the green android man but then turns off after a couple seconds.
6) If I put the battery in with the phone unplugged and hole Volume Up, Power and Home and then release them on the Samsung screen, blue writing pops up in the top left corner (I couldn’t read quick enough what it says) while still on the Samsung screen and then it loads to a screen saying Samsung Galaxy S III and then the phone turns off.
These problems started when I attempted to connect my phone to my laptop to transfer songs over to it. I connected the phone and the battery was charging, but it wasn’t showing up as connected on my laptop. So, I turned the phone off to restart it but when I went to turn it back on, these issues started.
The phone was rooted and has been for the last 7 months without any changes to the firmware or updates to the firmware in that time period and has not encountered any problems prior. I’m not sure what firmware the phone was on prior to this.
If anyone could offer any assistance with this it would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
Hi,
I'm no expert, but it looks like a faulty/stuck power button. It's normal for the phone not to completely boot up when it is powered off and then plugged in to USB. But it is not normal for the phone to reboot itself when in recovery or in Android. That's why I think the power switch might be the cause.

Phone not turning on.

Hi. So after a long wait I got my Zenfone 2 ZE551ML today. The first thing I did was turning it on and it turned on normally, then I proceeded to make the initial setup (logging into google account, etc) without any problems. Then after about 10 minutes of use the phone suddenly turned off with the battery being at around 35% and didn't want to turn on again. I read that old firmware (like the one that comes default with the phone) had battery display errors so I thought the phone had run out of battery, so I charged it for 8 full hours and I unplugged it now. To my surprise the phone is not turning on either. The only way I can make the screen show something is by connecting it to the charger, it vibrates and displays a white battery icon, eventually changing to fully green (fully charged battery, the green led indicator also appears) only to disappear like 3 seconds after. Can't turn the phone on while charged and can't even make the phone show the battery icon again (unless I unplug and plug again, repeating the cycle). So, what can I do to turn it on?
Thanks in advance.

I have a feeling that you did not hold the power button long enough. Disconnect the charger first, and wait for about 10 seconds. Then, hold the power button for at least 6 seconds. The phone should then vibrate and then you may release the power button. Other reasons why your phone may not seem to be turning on at all might be due to the back cover not being fully locked in, thus not making any contact with the power on the motherboard itself.
Do report back the results.

I did. Doesn't work. I also removed the back cover and pressed the power button with nails with no results either. Personally I think there's something to do with the power button as it doesn't even responds while charging (pressing it should display the battery icon) and the only time I could use the phone it didn't work to wake up the phone or setting it to sleep, only double tapping worked. What is strange is that it worked the first time I turned on the phone though.
Are you able to get into FastBoot mode? If so please try performing a hardware reset including wipe cache partition. Please see the following:

I got that several times when connecting my phone to the PC. I removed the back plate and disconnected the battery, after reconnecting phone booted up.

Wont't turn on/reset and vibrates

I fully charged the phone and I used the watch for about an hour. It seemed to work fine for a bit but I notieced it would frequently just turn off and I'd have to press the side button for the 3 second reset to get it to work again. Now the watch won't turn on no matter what. When it's plugged in, it will keep vibrating. It will vibrate for a second, stop for a second, vibrate, stop, etc but it still wont' turn on or stop vibrating while it's plugged in. Any ideas?
Did you know what was wrong? I have the same issue.

Screen Doesn't Appear to Work

I was on a phone call with a friend when I noticed that the screen wouldn't turn on anymore. After the call was done, I popped out the battery to shut it down.
When I take out the battery and plug the phone via usb charger, the screen turns on and is blacked out. When the battery is in, and I 'turn on' the phone, there is a very slight vibration, and after some time the phone blinks that red LED light like when I have a gmail waiting--it is as though the phone really is on and active, but the screen isn't getting signal.
I'm guessing that there's a loose connection somewhere.
Any suggestions?
I disassembled and reassembled. Didn't work initially.
Left my phone alone for 5 minutes after it booted with no screen signal, and then I press the power button, and it turned on.
So weird. Seems like I'd better back up my stuff while I can.
