Hi!
I'm currently looking for a way to "combine" to widgets to look like they belong to each other, or seem connected. I want to use these spaces to put apps in them to use them as better looking icons.
Currently my homescreen looks like this. Is it possible to do something against this problem?

}
thanks, bye

i havent tried this perticular idea myself but if you are using a launcher such as LauncherPro you could set the icon grid to 10x10 and accomplice this, more or less, and with this setting you have pretty much "free" icon grid with resizing.
you might have to do a little editing to the icons you are going to use so the will "fit" together.
hope i could help and you understand what i mean.

Are you talking about the toggles? That is switch pro.. If you are talking about the launcher, then it is probably Launcher Pro.
no talking about the icons like i said in the post.
They are from launcher pro

Launcher pro with custom Icons. Press and Hold the shortcut icon you'll get options for the shortcut, then it'll ask you what icon you want to use, browse your gallery, select your downloaded icons, wallah! custom icons.
I hate to make a specific thread for this but I can't seem to find this anywhere. I was curious if anyone with any adobe skill at all (that would not be me lol) would be willing to make a cool looking honeycomb dock and maybe icons, I only use the most common ones (mail, sms, phone, browser, appdrawer). With the CM7 honeycomb theme and lockscreen etc going around I figure a bunch would use this. Here is a small example of what I think would look good for a dock anyway.

EDIT: put the pic in here wrong lol

for anyone that wants one a nice guy did make some in this post... http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=960365 Lovin my theme now !
Anyone got the icons from the dock?
Just wondering if anyone has any wallpapers that have a dock area at the bottom (ie an area that is different so to differentiate the dock area to the main screen), particularly if they're designed for touchwiz launcher.
I know I could use a different launcher and use a background image but quite like the smoothness of the stock launcher.
Sort of like this

"lightbox_next": "Next",

}
Check these out..
Here are some with some extra shade in Dock region...
Easy to find via Zedge or Filkie or Picspeed...
Pls hit thanks once...
My thanks meter is still zero...

Made this for my nook color a while back, looks pretty awesome on the nexus 7 and mixes quite well with widgets, I may expand it in the next few days.
To make it you need to use ADW EX Launcher, and use the widget desktop visualiser to set the panels.
The panels can be found here: http://s1235.photobucket.com/albums/ff438/androidatnight/

looks good, how do they look when you rotate the tablet to landscape? Do they rotate well or do you see major gaps and out of place looking widgets?

Well, you have seen the Google Now interface which auto-suggests weather, traffic, nearby places and so on in like a downward tab or card like interface. It's pretty smooth and looks clean. Maybe even insprired by windows tiles. What are good ways to achieve that look and feel using maybe maybe any available tools and launchers. Any suggestions ... ?

You might want to check out mycolorscreen. There are tons of inspiring homescreens there that use combinations of ultimate custom clock widget (UCCW), apex/nova/go launchers, and custom wallpapers.
