Neoprene Sleeve

Is there a neoprene sleeve out for the Droid X yet? I have a Nexus One that I use for work and it came with a sleeve that is easily slides in and out of. Looking for something similar for the DX for the times when I want to throw it into my laptop bag or backpack.

I came from an N1 as well and wanted the same thing, but couldn't find anything so I made one out of duct tape, lined with material from an old T-shirt.
It sounds funny, but it actually works REALLY well.

I'm looking for the same thing. I have yet to find one but I'm going to order one of these for $10 till a real one comes out.
If I order it next week it will still get here before my phone does from Verizon.

I've been using this for a few weeks now and it's actually a really good case.
If you guys have a spare T-shirt (or sock) and some duct tape, I actually do recommend making one of these.
Maybe I'll make a how-to video.. haha

I've been using the sleeve from sfbags.com for about 2 weeks now. Its pretty decent, a thin sort of grippy material so the phone doesnt slip out on its own, but doesnt grip enough that it causes a problem trying to remove it from the sleeve. Main reason I bought it was so it wouldnt get scratched in my pockets from my keys or change and it does well with that. If you ever had a G1 its almost like the sleeve that came for that with less padding. Also I've dropped it on the asphalt already, so the material was thick enough to protect it from a dent, gouge or broken screen thankfully.

Just a word of warning. I just got a "Tune Belt Sport Armband for HTC EVO 4G" today. It fits the DX fairly well. I went for a one hour run and after when I was taking the DX out of the sleeve, the clear plastic of the sleeve stuck to my Zagg Invisible Shield and started pulling it off. End result is now I have a big crease in the Invisible Shield. I'm thinking of cutting the plastic out of the Tune Belt and see how that works. I also just got a waterproof Dry Case for the DX, I'm wondering if that's going to cause the same problem.

Gaffers tape might be a more durable solution?

Sunglass Micro Fiber Pouch
Why not just use that Micro Fiber Pouch that they give you when you buy a pair of nice sunglasses. Not only can you throw it in there but you can tie it so it doesn't fall out. You can use it to clean the screen. They might even be able to give you one for free.

Looks like a crappier and more expensive Mesh Case

I have the same case as well as the mesh case. I prefer this one due to the mesh case allows too much dust to settle inside the holes of the mesh case. They are both made with high quality. But too each its own.

I didn't really like how the mesh case looked =[...so i decided to get this one instead even if it cost more...it protects my baby to an extent...sall that matters =p

From the picture, it looks exactly the same. If it gets any thinner than that, you might as well use toilet paper lol.

I am using the Taurus Version, and Yellow. Love it.
The contour of the case and and design, fits like a GLOVE!!

Do these things actually protect well? I feel like the impact would be transferred to the device more so than a TPU/silicone case. Sure they look nice, but I don't feel like they are practical.

When I got it, it was installed by a friend of mine, the in between the case and phone, have a silicone cushion build on the case. The phone do budge or move at all.
I guess the silicone cushion is made for shock absorption.

The Taurus looks nice but damn if they make that sweet one in Gunmetal gray I'm getting it!

They do have the Gun Metal color!! But its Not Cheap tho, Ships from Korea, the Only Retailer.

Something like Taurus isnt a full case but a bumper.
The battery cover isnt covered by metal, so it wont heat at all.

Anyone know where you can order the sweet armor one online? I can't seem to find it on google at all, might be using the wrong search codes though but still. I do like the gunmetal taurus one as well.

yup made from aluminum. it will break easy if dropped, but it protect the cellphone

kinda like that But you shouldnt drop your phone anyway. Its better to break a 20-30$ bumper than a 600$ phone
I have a taurus one at the moment, if I drop it and it break, ill just go with a walnut one. Im using it because it fit with the 3200-3500mA battery. If I could get an otterbox for extended battery I would, but they wont make one

Having one of these cases I can confirm they are excellent, especially if you use the Note as an ereader it reduces hand/wrist strain. It also has an integrated kick stand for video viewing. However the material is nt moleskin, more a faux leather exterior with a soft suede like inner finish. I think the OP meant Moleskine, like the notebooks, which have a black oiled paper cover which looks a bit like thin leather, not moleskin.
The Zenus and MFit covers can be found on eBay.

Favorite Gel Case

I tried 2 gel cases the mini suit and amzers both found on Amazon.com
The mini suit doesn't have a gel feel, and lacks protection. Here's the link for mini suit..

Amzers case has a very jelly feel, and is also much thicker. The price is well worth the extra grip and protection. Which is my favorite thing about the case. It helps you grip the enormous 10in display comfortably without fear of slippage.

All in all if you want the cheapest case you can get to prevent back scratches go with mini suit. If you actually want a grippy protective gel case go with the Amzer. By flush you are referring to the way the speakers/headphone input are or aren't exposed?

Theway the rubber sits on the device or are there gaps on the bezel or around ports and or soeaker grills

Hey man, So I was about to post pics for you but my phone kinda crapped out. Sent it into samsung so it should be back in the next 2 weeks. I will try to borrow my GF's GS3 to take some pictures later.. Unfortunately I am using a basic Huawei Android ATT Go phone in the mean time. No flash ****ty 3MP camera wouldn't really show you what you want to see.
I will be honest though, my thoughts about the amzer case where exactly that it was an amazingly snug and good fit. All the speakers/mics/camera/everything is all flush.

I have the amzer. It is thick and heavy. Loads of protection though. It covers all the silver except for speaker grills. There is a YouTube clip I think.

The amzer is definitely thick and good on protection.

I have the Amzer and it is OK, I use it for work because it is indestructable. Loose fitting but has all the right holes. I wish it has a solid back plate and was a bit snug.

Im not sure if your aware of the newer types of polymers used for gel cases nowadays. They are more dust resistent. In short I dont have a huge dust issue when using the amzer gel case. It stays fairly clean and if it attracts an occasional cat or dog hair theyre not statically glued to the case! Hope this helps!​

I have the mini suit and it's great. Fits snugly and all the holes match up. I have a handmade leather case for my note and the mini suit is good to use when I'm walking around with it.
