So i've been looking all over the place for the pink life theme done by jrummy For the Evo and have had no luck. is there a way to convert everything over?

Yeah, it can be ported over. It's very time consuming. Not a simple "conversion" process though.
If someone doesn't do it by the time I get caught up with school and if I have the free time, I'll begin working on it. No promises though, depends on how many programs I have to wright for school and how often they're assigned.

Looking further it appears he made a Metamorph for the theme also. That will make it very easy to port it over. I would just get rid of most of the .xml layouts he has in the theme and just stick to the images and you could do it in no time.
I assume your wife has a EVO? PM and I'll send you a beta for it..You'll need ZipThemer from the market(free) to apply it and then flash it..

Once this is out of beta, I have a friend who is interested in a Pink theme, however, she is running the stock rooted deodexed rom.
Will it work there?
Was this ever ported over. My sister really likes the look of this theme and their isn't very many options for pink themes. Ported to work on CM7 for the EVO would be excellent.

yes i know my break didnt last long but I am not going to spend a lot of time on themes so updates may be scarce... but they will come.

this is exactly what i was going to try to make and now i don't have to! simply amazing. if you can get with manup and throw some of his icons on there with an update this will most definitely be my permanent theme.

Not bad. My only suggestion would to change the clock hands to something more visible all over. Maybe put a white outline on the clock hands? You can't see them very well when they're on the black part of the logo

The wallpaper is installed with the theme, from your home screen go menu > wallpaper > wallpaper gallery. It should be the first one

i was thinking about doing this... maybe tonight, idk yet. i spent a lot of time on these. now i know what ManUp is going thru, lol. I cant do every color tho, ill go crazy. im updating some items thats need updating will be posted up in about 20 mins.

Uh oh, I already put the theme back on after upgradeing to 3.4.4, I had a bunch of force closes but ran permission fix and re odexed my app files and seems to be fine so far, not to take away from your time but what did i mess up on my phon

well when you go on landscape mode you will get a acore force close. can you verify this for me by tilting your phone. if you get a force close message write back.
I just tilted it now and yes if I go back to the home screen after tilting I get a force close

Been looking all day, but I can't find the one I'm looking for. Found plenty of circle battery mods that will work with CM7 RC2, but I'm looking specifically for one that looks like the first pictures posted in this thread.

you can either make it yourself, wait for me or another developer to do it this weekend (your welcome ) or try shift_'s sculpted theme. it is pretty sweet. it is theme manager compatible so it doesnt need flahsing. jsut make sure to at least hot reboot after.
if you dont like it, i'll try to incorperate this mod into the frameworks this weekend. it'll be my first time going into the gingerbread framework, so i might see problems, but it hsould be fine.
Unfortunately I've yet to go in and figure out how to do things like this. If you're already planning on making one though, that's great. I can definitely wait patiently. You get many thanks from me.

edit: damn i hate problems.... i found the stock battery, but that goes down every 5 percent. i'm searching for the "batt percent" icons, but i found none. i have explored 8 apps and found nothing. time to keep looking....

i have to admit, i couldnt figure the damn thing out, so i used the online kitchen and it worked very well. this is UNTESTED. it will only work with AMON-RA OR CWM 2.X. thanks again for waiting. this was built off of the framework-res.apk and systemUI.apk of nightly 26.
now i'm going on the irc to figure out how to do it myself

Please post instructions when you figure out how to self edit. The kitchens breaks themes when I use it for the battery mod, I get the mod but not with the theme I am using, aka Honeybread theme by Hax!

ok, in the kitchen, in the file upload part, the third option is to upload a cm7 theme. just shoot honeybread into that, select the theme you want to apply, and run the kitchen! easy.
Who's interested in building this? Don't know if anyone is working on it so I thought I'd post before starting on one.

I'm interested. A dev (sonnysekhon) is working on an ICS theme for cm7, so we could use that as our base.

Obviously, there are a few bugs with some of the icons at the top, but once those are fixed, it's almost drag and drop for us. (for some things...since it's not tw based, which you already know)

I was going to use the framework from the system dump.
Qbking and I were talking about it last night on gtalk, so I thought I'd start the thread. I can probably get a good base theme built this weekend, but don't want to step on any toes.
BTW I would use EH17 as a base since a GB ota seems imminent at this time.

This man from the Desire is currently working on a Desire Port of ICS sdk.
(currently trying to get it to boot, but is running into errors of course, none the less, he's had progress.)

Hahaha.
I've heard sdk ports are wonky. And I could imagine I went looking through the dump and the damn thing is practically empty. It has images so that people can at least at most theme the status bar, but no roaming images or anything else for that matter. So odd.
I have a feeling a more recent leaked build dump will popup soon.

Yes I completely agree, after looking through the framework and SystemUI dump its only partial at best. I was hoping to find some new ringers/ui/notifications but that was empty except for 2 files.
Did anyone notice that they had battery meter pngs in the SystemUI.apk? WTF is that about, and they still remained in the framework too... Strange...
I thought about building a theme on the NS4G but after looking at the missing pieces and stuff I decided to pass until a more complete dump is available.
Did notice many new additional pngs in the framework now to play with that we didn't have before.. Overlays, and different glows to inputs/keys... Misc here and there...
Good luck guys, post a boat load of screenies so we can see what it looks like when you have something to flash
