You can uninstall the camera app with titanium back up and then get the camera.apk and reinstall it you can also wipe your cache as well.

Can't install themes anymore

Everytime I try to flash a theme. Any theme, it says:
Opening zip
Updating zip
Can't install (whatever the zip name)
(Bad)
Installation Aborted.
Now I'm doing everything right when flashing but yet I don't know what's wrong. Any help will be appreciated.

and i thought i was the only one.
What rom are you using and what theme are you trying to flash?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
I have cyanogen 6.1.1 and I'm trying to flash iNexus Theme and Bliss 2.0 but neither works.
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
Are you downloading the themes directly from your phone or from a computer?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
found my noob mistake, i was trying to flash a new theme on top of them i already have. flashing my latest backup into a stock rom AND THEN flashing the theme worked. hope this helps.
Downloading them from the phone. Does that matter?
Sent from my HTC Vision using XDA App
i think it matters, i was downloading the theme using the phone and was getting your error, went home and downloaded using a PC:

surprise, it worked.

[Q] No market?

Just did a standard backup/wipe/gapps install to Cm7 RC4 from a Cm7 RC4 with non-functioning market and now I don't have any google apps at all.
Just downloaded the latest gapps for the G2/CM7 and installed it after a dalvik/partition cache clean and still nothing.
Try reflashing altogether

Just restored to factory, wiped cache/dalvik, and installed RC4 with Gapps and Wipe enabled.
Now I'm still not seeing any gapps. Just went into Clockwork to install manually, says completed, but still didn't work. Man.
Must be an RC4 issue?
I am not sure to say I'm not running it but I had the same with rc3 it just would not take until I went back to my stock then flashed rc3 with full whipe

I've had this problem with gingervillain and mexdroid. For some reason, I flashed gingervillain 8 times, THEN the market showed up. Which was weird. Nothing changed for mexdroid rom when I tried this though.

Yeah I'm not sure what the problem is tho...but the swypes auto correct hates me when I don't pay attention wipe went to whipe

Problems with all roms

Ok so I've tried flashing many different roms cm7,sense 2.2, sense 2.3, and miui and even tried restoring old roms with clocwork and all seem to install fine but whenever I reboot after installing everything starts fc'ing or goes into bootloop. If anyone can please tell me what's wrong or any steps I should take to fix these issues it would be greatly appreciated

have you tried to do a fix permission through the ROM manager after flashing any rom?
Yes i fixed permissions and wiped data and cache before flashing.

When going from the stock ROM to another ROM you need to do a factory reset; likewise, you need to do a reset when moving between incompatible ROMs (Sense/non-Sense, Froyo/GB, etc.).
Additionally, if using a backup app (Titanium/My Backup), you can't restore settings between incompatible ROMs as their system settings are often different.

*Huge* wording flaw in Titanium! Restoring apps will restore the apps data, restoring data will restore /data.

Invalid package file

Dears, I 'm running alquez cm7.2.0 and since few days all apps updates are failing ..
Anybody found solution? Do I just need to update to 7.2.2?
If the case, is only needed to put the latest update zip file on SD and run update via cwm?
Thx
Sent from my HTC Wildfire S using xda app-developers app
Theres no cyanogenmod 7.2.2 . If your apps update failed clear data and cache of google play and google service framework and reboot. It should work.

Thx for the input ..but still after deleting data and cache the updates are "package file is invalid "..
Other suggestions?

Hi Abhi;
Found something..
I uninstalled updates of Google play app and 11 apps managed to get an update. Nonetheless some (maps, Facebook,Google+) are still getting the "invalid package "notification when trying to update.
Tried reboot as well after clearing data but still those are not updating ..any idea?
Thx

Same thing happened for me with modpunk version of CM9. Apps with smaller sizes have no problem updating ,but its the bigger apps as in your and my case which won't update.

I have the same problem of MidhunCN but instead of using his rom i'm using hensemod 7. As above i can update and install only small apps (or so it seems) from play store. If I put the apks on the sd instead, i have no problem installing big apps. Any suggestion?
I even looked at the link posted above but in that folder i have no file like dalvik or cache.

Try re flashing plus a wipe and dalvik wipe. Annoying I know but also back up your user apps only and flash gapps. Worked for me when I went over to cm9...
