I was wondering if anyone knew how to get the app drawer to 4D without switching to a GB ROM, or
Using ADW EX?
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Pardon my ignorance but what exactly is 4D?
Instead of the app drawer scrolling up and disappearing it bends, (hard to describe) on the top and bottom. Most GB Roms I've seen have it and adw ex gives you the option also.
Sent from my PC36100 using XDA App
Its 3d. Looks like they wrap around a cube as you scroll up and down
4D?!?!? Oh man I really want to try this, I'm sure my old physics professor does as well. Do I need any special glasses? A flux capacitor perhaps?
I was thinking 3D also but asked in this forum once before to no avail. But I noticed in ADW EX the option that changes it to 3D they call it 4D. So that is where I came up with that one at.

I was just giving you some friendly sh*t I'm not sure about ADW but I know LauncherPro has a cool 3D app drawer.
Launcher pro has it. Its in appearance i believe. Says something to the effect of experimental 3d app drawer...
This is how mine looks on LP in 3D...........................

Haha.....Roads? Where we're going we don't need roads......
i believe that GoLauncher has this option aswell
the 4D app drawer: shows you apps you used to have, currently have, and will install in the future....
I have adwEX and its worth every penny. I can say that I honestly don't know why he calls it 4D, but there's a feature where you can turn on for a transparent 4D drawer maybe idk but here's what the so called 4D looks like. Pretty 3D ish if you ask me but I love adwex its so sick.

Both will be required. ...also and oreo to dull the electromagnetic waves given off.

I believe it is only available with the paid version of ADW; so technically no, it won't work on the included version of CM7.
would it be possible to get it on adw? like, something flashable?

Did anyone else know it was possible. There isn't much documentation on Touchwiz 2.5 for our Epics. So I'm finding things new to me I suppose.
It also goes into Expose in the app drawer.

I dont understand
Can u clarify more
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
I know that Launcher Pro has a nice Expose interface feature... but with touchwiz being so proprietary.. i highly doubt that youre going to be able to do much with it.
I meant this, I had a week ago pinched my fingers on the homescreen in Touchwiz and it expanded all of the homescreen without having to hit the edit button. But also within the app drawer it does the same thing and shows all the pages.
Homescreen:

Oh that I accidently did that once
Then I posted a thread aboutwanting to lnow how to recreate it back when there was no q&a section

Ahhhh I see, I wish we all knew what the actual features of the touchwiz we're on are. Because looking at old videos of Touchwiz 3 ours is nothing like it.
Sent from my SPH-D700 using XDA App
That would be really useful.
Edit_ the pinch works with the zeam launcher for the home screen but not app drawer
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x31Tl4_F1Wo
The way Touchwiz 3 was apparently supposed to look and work. We have some of the features in that video haha. If we had that I would be happy with Touchwiz eternally.

That touchwiz is pretty cool looking. I might actually use it if it looked like that.

Does anyone know if there are modified touchwiz's that can be flashed or downloaded???

Ha! Yeah isn't that beautiful, such calming music too. What you are seeing is a various amount of widgets. You need to customize your screens to your own liking. Long press on an empty area of a home screen or blank screen and pick to add a widget and try each one out and see which you like. You can also change your wallpapers and other things. You can add widgets from the market as well. Lots of people like Beautiful Widgets which is a paid app. Have fun customizing.

I think that was what touchwiz 3.0 was supposed to look like before they made changes. I'm not sure though I thought I read something about it somewhere. Out twiz 3.0 is not what twist 3.0 was supposed to look like.

Lifehome was updated to version 2.3.4 a few hours ago but I cannot seem to find it on the market?
Looks like development is very active though:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/livehome/com.mo.android.livehome
ETA: See post #3 for APK.
Okay reading on some other boards it looks like the developer marked the app as not compatible with the Samsung Galaxy S2. But it does work, quite stable too.
So the question is... is there a way to bypass the compatibility check on the market? Or any other way to get the latest update of the launcher? I really love the amount of options it gives, kind of like a mix between ADW Launcher and Launcher Pro...
And those transition effects are really neat
Found the free version of LifeHome 2.3.2.

I've put all the widget in the same place. All other screens doesn't have it. I have a global look of what's happening around in one screen. Its a personal choice in matter of style and look.

Oh I really like GoLauncher Ex, thinking about switching back to it.
One think I wonder is why they don't have e.g. the Cube transition in the launcher, they do have it with SMS Pro though...

If you mean this for Go Launcher EX then you 're wrong my friend!
The Cube trasition effect (in two versions) is supported on the Launcher!!!
Which version do you have? Cause the latest is 2.35!

I meant the 3D effect, not the 2D versions that come with GoLauncher ex
Open up Go SMS and swipe to the left/right to see what I mean...
The Lifehome Launcher has real 3D transitions, another neat one would be the pageflip transition, it actually looks like you are really turning the page and I haven't seen a similar quality transition effect with any other launcher so far
I'll see if I can post screenshots later.
Yeah transitions looked like crap and it was very laggy

Not to step on toes but....get BW then add superclock 4X2 to your homescreen. When you do that it will bring you to the setting screen for the widget. Look through clock skins till you find the one you want(not sure which one he's using) download and apply. Then look through weather skins and do the same. Many, many choices. My clock is also BW.

I was on mikrunny when I posted. Now I'm on ics, but I'm trying to think of a good ROM to do it on.
And now I'm back on mikrunny. Maybe you could add it to your troj icon theme for MIUI. That one looked good, but it was mostly icons. Maybe find some images similar to that.
Or even virtuous unity or something. Trying to think of something that would be good to add the theme to.
