Hi,
I put my TP2 on charge, when I went to bed, next morning it would not turn on.
Took the battery out and tried again, the splash screen just stays.
I read around here and internet. I can access the bootloader where it says:
RHOD110 32M HX-BC
SPL-0.87.000
MircoP(LED) Wrong Plat(0x0)
MicroP(KEY) Wrong Plat(0x0)
Turbo HW/Turbo SW
TP MFG DATA
503,530 790,851
794,213 215,208
212,851 Calibrated
I have tried reflashing with official rom from HTC in NZ - didn't work
No other roms have been put on it, only the WM6.5 official NZ rom, as phone was on the original rom, updated when bought (second hand) up until this point phone worked perfectly ok.
The phone was charging from AC - no water damage. (stickers are still hashed red)
Any ideas or just random bad luck?
Well, after 2 years and a couple of months of mutual respect and caring my tp2 did the exact same number on me. Here is to hoping it will eventually get over it!
Any help will be appreciated

Are you also getting the wrong Plat thingy? Or is it just not booting? It it just not booting, did you try a hard reset? Did you try another battery?

Maybe Plat refers to platform. I wonder if your bootloader might be corrupted.
rhod110 is Australian Telstra Touch Pro 2 GSM T7373, is that what you have? Did you try HSPLing it yet, that will install a new bootloader image. Be carefull which one you choose though.

Agreed. OP try flashing GSM HardSPL and then flash a custom rom.
Guys you can count me out. Some time on a hair-drier regimens and it all worked out. It probably took in some moisture (i did drive for an hour in the rain, though the phone did not directly get wet.
However, for the record, while i was on the plat error trip nothing worked. Not hard reset, nor flashing with...ANYTHING!!!

I have a brand new Defy, barely a month old. And since i found it so easy to mess around with my Milestone i went right ahead and tried to flash a new custom rom into my "barely out of the box" Defy.
After flashing the new rom my phone wouldn't start at all!! I freaked!!
Theere it lay, totally dark and blank screen with the white led on and only the comp and RSD Lite being able to detect the phone in the bootloader mode. Volume Up/Down w/ Power didn't do anything! Nor did anything else!
After a whole day of frantic thread searching and googling, i still couldn't find any answer! I could see that people actually returned their phones or just gave up!
Finally, i started to serach for the original rom that came with my phone but even after hours of searching i couldn't find a single copy of it! Just before i gave up, in one last attempt i found the only copy of my original rom and i flashed it and it worked!!
So if all else fails, please keep a note of your exact rom version and flash it back to unbrick your phone.
Hope this helps someone out there who freaked out the same way i did..

Try this thread.. You should be able to solve your problem.. forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1216982
okay im following the unbricking guide in the General forum. i have an at&t p930. had cwm and flashed a rom but didnt format /system. thus i bricked my phone, boot loop galore. i have all the necessary files. everything with v10f goes great and when the phone reboots i get the pink LG Optimus LTE boot screen. only problem is that it freezes there, the candy cane loader stops moving and it just chills there forever... please please please help me get this thing going. its a company phone and i have no option but to fix it myself.
I am right there with you-absolutely nothing under the sun has worked. Finally got the updater to work and am stuck on the Optimus LTE screen just like you...even tried two computers, tried doing the .kdz about 12 times now, reboot, etc...stuck
ya im freaking out. i have to fix it. its not my phone, its my companies haha
Did you flash the V10f or the V10i? The only v10f I could find was a small file...well much smaller than the i. I've tried flashing the v10i about 15 times now with no luck...it obviously flashes as the boot logo shows up but thats where it stops.
Also when I get it to go into recovery it has the open box and arrow with the android guy and stays on that screen for about 10 seconds before it goes onto the LTE screen where it stalls.
Does that help anyone?
same thing for me exactly. my v10f file was like 400 mb, my v10i was 350ish. ive tried em both, neither work. same thing for me when i go into recovery as well. on the thread for debricking the last poster said he found the correct v10f file and will upload it tonight, maybe itll work being that the hotfile server or whatever Manillion used doesnt work.

The SU640 ROM will not work on the Nitro HD, much the Nitro HD ROM will not work on a SU640. I found this out earlier this evening.
Might you be able to share a link to the appropriate kdz then? I think we've exhausted the resources currently available especially considering megaupload is dead. May the schwartz be with you...
The V10i_00.kdz is 482,617,504 bytes
MD5 is: 12962DBC591D354D2E35FB3EA84AC032
Make sure you got this one.
That's the size of the one I have...not sure what the MD5 is but I believe it to be the right one.
ya it worked! i used the v10i rather than the v10f. worked first try. im in cwm restoring from nandroid as we speak thanks vano

as they always say, "another satisfied customer". LOL!
If the v10i is rootable now, I'll just update my guide with a link to download the .kdz directly from LG (I'd been having trouble reuploading the v10f .kdz anyway because my internet connection is flaky). What I'm gathering from all this craziness is that there may be bad .kdz's floating around because the unbrick method I used has eventually worked for pretty much everyone, albeit with some teeth pulling for a few people :s. Either that or people are flashing the phone wrong, but I'll give you guys the benefit of the doubt lol. I'll be updating the guide with screenshots provided by [email protected] in a bit.

Is there anyway to format whatever might be on my phone? As in do whatever I can to start as fresh as possible?
The best way to reformat everything and start over is to just reflash the .kdz from download mode. But since I know you've probably done that a couple times, it's possible your .kdz is corrupted.

I would only download it from LG or if someone has the v10f they downloaded from LG.
Hey guys,
I've never had any real problems with any android phone that I've had. However, I have been running Liquid Beta 2 on my nexus for over a week now and it seemed to be running great. I did see a few random reboots every now and then but thought that might be due to it being a beta.
Today it seemed to escalate to a new level. I turned on the torch in the pulldown bar and as soon as the light came on the phone restarted. However this time it was never able to start back up. It got about half way through the boot animation and started over and will continuously do this.
I can still boot into recovery so that is good news. I have tried restoring previous roms that I had backed up for just in case and they ran into the exact same problem. I have also tried wiping everything and then installing a fresh rom that I had on my phone and again, ran into the same problem.
At this point I am clueless and really have no idea what to do. If anyone can perhaps share some advice or give some suggestions, that would be great and I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks guys.
edit: Not sure if it matters but I do have the Verizon branded GN.
Make sure you are wiping data, cache and dalvik.
Make sure you didn't get a bad download on the rom you are trying to flash.
I am running stock kernels and have never installed any non stock kernels as stock seems to run just fine. I have wiped everything completely and I've tried two different roms and get the same problem. I don't think it has to do with it being bad downloads. Thank you for the advice though guys. Anyone else have any input? I may just have to go to the verizon store and see if I can exchange it out.
Dude. I had that too some weeks ago and had the problem that I encrypted the phone, which made me not getting into recovery mode. I downloaded a fresh restorer rom from samsung. After everything was fresh I never saw the failure again.

DO NOT CONTACT VERIZON. After unlocking bootloader, your warranty is voided. Verizon will not be able to help you.
@OP: You can always flash back to stock using stock images provided by google via fastboot with the link Geezer provided.

Hello. I was going to unroot my galaxy s4 mini today, but something happened and now im stuck @ bootloop.
When im trying to turn on my phone its shows me "Image size is too large, W:1080 H:1920, display image fail, secure fail: kernel: I installed CMW, doesnt work, flashed my own and different region stock, still same message. Nothing is working for me at moment.
Can somebody help me get out of this nightmare? Please!
How did you un root?
Actually i will be honest with you, i cannot rememmber that, i didnt use this phone for a very long time, very very long time, it was like my second phone just in case something happens with my s5, now i really need it but (
asd
any 1?
Your error sounds like something that would happen maybe if you had flashed something ment for another phone. Maybe you flashed something for the s5 on tour mini. But unless flashing a stock image helps your most likely going to have to find a shop or back to samsung. .
---------- Post added at 07:35 PM ---------- Previous post was at 07:11 PM ----------
Just guessing. But from my experience here i find there are very few solutions here to stronger phone issues. Most times its back to samsung. Have you tried a stock flash with odin?
I am looking for the stock 4.4.2 NE4 rom for D2ATT to flash through Odin.
A little background. Phone soft boots on me, and I am able to get into recovery. However, if I try to flash anything or restore a backup, the phone reboots. I am able to get into download mode, but can't find the correct stock file to flash. I have the recovery flashable file, but can't flash it. Every where I have searched for the Odin file has been a dead end.
This has happened to me before, and Odin did the trick. That was on 4.1.1 though which was before the bootloader changes.
Anyone have the Odin file by chance? Thanks.
[CORRECTION]: I am on the NJ1 bootloader/modem.
There is no stock firmware available for later builds.
What were you trying to do when you got to the soft brick?
Any errors when you try to flash a rom?
What roms have you tried flashing?
What is your current bootloader version?
Sent from my SGH-T999 using Tapatalk
I was afraid of that. Actually I wasn't doing anything (this time lol). I was running the official CM nightlies (I think I flashed last week some time, coming from Pac Rom).
When I try to flash in recovery, the screen goes black several second into flashing and then reboots into a boot loop. If I try to turn on it is a boot loop as well. I am in the latest NE4 modem/bootloader version.
Edit: I was able to do a wipe in recovery before reboot. It had an error with data during the wipe. I wasn't able to get a picture in time so I don't know what the exact error was.
Edit #2: When trying to flash I get the error "cannot mount system" before it boot loops on me.
Ok so you were running cm and are trying to get back stock correct?
If I recall correctly, you need to just flash the stock recovery and factory reset from there.
You can find the stock recovery in one of enewman17's bootloader/modem threads. Let me know if you can't find it.
Not sure that'll solve it for you, but I'd say it's worth a shot.

Thanks! Ok question for you. How will this get the stock firmware installed? I still have the problem of no Odin flashable firmware.
Edit: It looks like I am unable to get into recovery at this point. Phone just reboots.
Is it possible the phone has a problem with the power button? Was it hyper-sensitive before the bootloops started?

That's possible. I had this issue before though, and it was fixed when I use Odin to reflash stock. Right now it's at the point where it will automatically try to boot up when I put the battery in.
Edit: The other thing I was thinking of, was possibly corrupted partitions, or perhaps the storage is corrupted/ needs formatted.
Edit#2: Just did some back reading, and realized I am on the NJ1 bootloader, which is the latest 4.4.2. I thoroughly regret upgrading, so if you are reading this and considering an update, DON'T DO IT!!!! I will update the OP and thread title accordingly.
The phone now will not stay booted in download mode either. Ends up rebooting after a couple of seconds.
I think this one is pretty much hosed, as even if I were able to unbrick it, there still is the matter of no compatible software that can be flashed. It is not my daily driver, so not the end of the world, but it still sucks. The biggest loss is several videos I took this weekend of a martial arts tournament my son was in.
Thanks so much guys for your help on this. It is much appreciated.
Sounds like you've got the faulty power button. If it tries to turn on when you insert the battery, it's a sure sign of this.
Replacements are pretty cheap if you care to try soldering it yourself. Otherwise most repair shops should be equipped to help you out.
The reason I suggested factory resetting from stock recovery is because many people have had similar issues when coming from cm. Not sure why, but it does a better job at reformatting the internal memory. After doing the reset, most people are able to boot into stock again.

Oh, and it is possible for corruption to occur when it is constantly rebooting. I don't think it's common though. I had one that was doing exactly the same thing for over a month and I never had any data loss or corruption.
It's only a temp fix, but try blowing into the power switch with a can of compressed air. You can also try giving it a swift, gentle (but hard) tap on the edge of a wood table. (Try on both sides of the phone and around the button itself). This is how I was able to keep using mine until I got around to fixing it. Beware though, hitting it too hard, or against something with no give can easily crack the glass! Obvious, I know, but figured I should mention it anyway!
Oh and if you get it to come back on, don't even breathe on the power button! It'll be super sensitive still. I couldn't even use my case until it was fixed.
