Hi,
I've searched a lot for my issue, but seems to me that im not getting the solution probably because this is my first android, my first root, and my first custom firmware install.
I rooted my HTC Desire with Unrevoked 3 and tried installing the Oxygen Custom ROM RC7. Rooting went okay. I tried installing the Oxygen ROM and it gets stuck in a loop at the Oxygen Logo.
Now, i did notice other people having the same troubles but there were no solutions to offer for that. Also i think a part of the problem may be the jargans, nevertheless i tried to search for a solution but could not find one.
Was really looking forward to Ginger bread. Any Help ?
Do a full wipe (data/factory reset, cache and dalvik cache under advanced) and flash again. Also keep in mind that the boot up time is longer than a normal boot. (not more than 5 to 10 min)
when i booted the oxygen rc6 the first time it got stuck too... after almost 20 min. i just removed the battery and booted again and it worked

Can anyone help me?
I am running SkyRaider 3.1 with the Hydra SSUV kernel.
I ran ClockworkMod through Rom Manager, selected wipe cache, then wiped dalvik cache and the phone is now stuck in the boot sequence at the Droid eye screen. It's now been about 20 minutes, so I assume it has had enough time to rebuild itself.
Any ideas? I have a nandroid backup from a few days ago, but I would like to avoid doing that.

It should have completed by now, I hate to say pull the battery.... but if you are really stuck.
go back to recovery wipe Dalvik and Cache Partition, try booting again, it will take quite a bit of time to reboot this time.
If that does not work use your nandroid backup.
BTW always nandroid before making any changes to your phone that way you lose nothing, even if you think they are quick, easy or minor. Hardware has a way of keeping us humble.
Thanks for the recommendation. I had pulled the battery and figured I would try booting to recovery and wiping the cache again to see what happened. Did that and booted in a minute.
Currently doing a new Nandroid backup...
I flashed SNS Gingerbread v1.7,OTA 4.53 Sense to my EVO and the ROM won't start. The phone has been sitting for 2 hours. I only see the black screen with android then somtimes the white htc screen will pop up but the ROM won't start. How long should it take.
Help is appreciated.

have you tried clearing cache in recovery?
if that doesn't work, i would do a wipe and reflash the rom.
I run that ROM with no problems. Try wiping everything (cache data dalvik), and then reflashing the ROM. It's always going to take a little longer to start up the first time, like 5 minutes, but should be faster from there.
Im a little new so thank you for the patience, here is a quick order of how i was taught to flash
wipe data/factory reset twice
wipe cache partition twice
go to advance
wipe dalvik cache twice
wipe battery stats twice
install zip from sd card
choose zip from sd card
then select the rom,
after that the screen has the black background and android then flashs the white background htc,
any corrections you advise are appreciated
Are you using Clockwork or Amon Ra?
If Amon Ra, which I suggest you use, Wipe everything, except SDCard: (And Battery Stats if not fully charged). Everything else gets wiped.
Then flash the ROM and reboot.
Im useing Clockwork, will give it a third try
This time the evo loaded Kings Alliance (which i pulled from backup, previously today)
AKWARD??
Where did you get the ROM from? Possibly a bad zip file. Check the Dev section and download it from there. Then reflash and see how that works.
It probaly was a bad file i flashed a new one so now im working on overclocking thanks everyone
Ok rooted my DHD about week ago with AAHK have now try 3 diffrence roms. the newest rom (icecold sandwish) is doing so weird things once in allpications settings phone was showing only like every 3th letter or so and some where was only some mess reboot fixed this. also have got some random crushes but had some with original 2.3.5. Also had some weird battery problems used battery to 0% loaded up to 100% and when started phone it says was still 0% and switching off stucked on screen replug battery fixed this.
batween on 1 and 2 rom didint clear cache did only factory reset between 2-3 (current) did full clear so wondering is my phone now bit mess cos didint do the cache and dalvik cache between 1 and 2 or is it normal to do some little bugs?
just wondering as i have now custom rom can i have back my original android what was in before root if it havent been backuped?
and last when you press power and - volum at start screen is hboot recovery and factory reset what will it do actually the same as in recovery or will it reset the devise to same state as it was when i 1st got it ?
Ty All!
Do not do the factory reset - it will only make things really bad.
When in recovery, before flashing a rom:
Wipe data/factory reset
Wipe dalvik
Format all partitions (except sd card)
That will make sure a good install of whatever rom you choose.
All ics roms are buggy. The devs are still working on them.
Suggestion: flash a gb rom.
You should be able to find a stock rooted rom if thats what you want.
Sent from a dream.
One you need to full wipe and then flash rom. On ice cold the messed up letters no need to reboot its the launcher so go into launcher setting and restart launcher should fix issue. If your on ice cold see if you have the cfs kernel or bfs kernel cfs is known to cause reboots. As for hboot you can enter recovery that way do not wipe factoey reset there without a rom on sd to flash. It erases everything and if you don't have a rom to flash after your will regret it and be back here asking why phone won't turn on.
Welcome and enjoy the reading and learning.

Hi,
I started using PA on my Galaxy Nexus with a fresh install of 4.0 Beta 6 about 4 weeks ago (unlocked and rooted via nexus root toolkit, recovery is teamwin).
Since then, I installed every update through Paranoid OTA, so I am on current 20140318 now with GAPPS stock 20140318.
Everything was great.
Suddenly, a few hours ago, the phone started rebooting again and again until I decided to take out the battery.
Since then, it hangs during boot at the PA logo.
I tried reinstalling pa_maguro-4.0-BETA6-20140217.zip and pa_gapps-stock-4.4.2-20140217-signed.zip through recovery (after backup of course), but this changed nothing.
Fun thing is... I am moving to a new flat tomorrow and really need my phone to organize things.
So if anybody has an idea what I can look at or how this may be fixed, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks!
Stephan
Edit: wiping cache and dalvik cache did not help...
Factory reset and reinstall

Seems like you got stuck in a bootloop. bootloops can occur pretty easily, it’s mainly caused because system files interfering with each other which causes instability and/or crashes at the boot sequence
Try doing a fresh install (use latest recovery version of your recovery)
- wipe data/factory reset
- wipe cache partition
- format system and data
- wipe dalvik cache and flash the rom and gapss again
since yesterday my lg g3 will not work.
allways when i use snapchat and want to take a photo or video my device reboots.
yesterday he does reboot i put my simpin into the lg and it reboots again... and the same hapens all time.
today i go to twrp mode and want to install the newest version of fullmics rom. I do the procedure like every time.
But this time the lg goes at 20-30% of installation progress in reboot. And the same happens the next 10 times.
I tasted it with another rom, but allways the same.
I need urgently help... i have no other phone... and i need it at work tomorrow...
please...
Did you try formatting it?
Give this a try
1.Wipe
2.Wipe cache
3.Wipe dalvic cache
And then reboot
Also if you want re-download the ROM of your choice and Gaps and install them.(first ROM and then Gaps)
Hopefully it will help.
Good luck, inform us for the result.
