New update on rooted Evo

Hey I just got the notification for the latest update going out to froyo users....should I update it???? My evo is rooted, just wondering if it will cause damage to my phone.

Yea I need help flashing my first Rom. Also some recommendations what apps are really useful for rooted phones. I'm trying overclock widget right now but idk what settings are good to improve my battery life.

If you are looking for the signature from your phone then you can't see it in the app. You have to go to xda in your web browser to see it.

[Q] Synergy Viper ROM 5.0 force closes

I have th RFS fliesystem and it force closes android market and for some reason the new apps I installed are gone any advice? By the way I made sure I installed it correctly

Im gna go with ext4 and see what happens

soo i went with ext4.. it runs super smooth no force closings.. answered my own question

I would say you should just update to an ec05 rom and wait for tPhillips to update VIPERrom

I'm new to this ROM stuff , is that ROM better ? What r the steps to get it ?
